This business sells used truck parts and bodies. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They also sell some New parts. Beat the dealer and Amazon prices with their low prices on hard to find items.
Highly recommend this place. Steve has the kind of knowledge you can’t teach. If you need a part for your truck, there’s a good chance he knows exactly what it is on the spot, has it, or knows where to get it. If you need ANY parts for your truck, I would recommend school st. Reasonable prices, and great service.

I've been faithfully going to them for over 15 years and I'll be honest. I don't always get the best quality parts and sometimes the prices may Be cheap But the parts will fail probably in a few weeks or maybe a month
I recently got One very rustier than the other set of struts he with a smile on his face and confident try to really say that's a great part. I knew that he was lying through his teeth, but I tried my best to just support a local business. Shame on me. when picking up the item that took six hours for them to takeoff unfortunately I paid for them at 10 AM and was unavailable to get them until 4 PM. Seniority Should still be relevant in 2024, But I've learned my lesson that I just can't trust this place anymore especially after only being 12 to 14 hours with parts and refusing to give me back my money

I'm sorry but I don't want a credit for a store that continues to give me faulty parts !! Let's be realistic because that doesn't really make much sense. Hopefully one day they change these practices and learn to grow A conscious and give people refunds ! Knowledgeable about auto repair and I know these practices are not kosher !

Couldn’t be happier that I was referred to go Steve and his guys on School St. I was getting an aggressive wobble in both rear wheels on my Chevy 1500. Had two previous mechanics look at it and was told that I was going to need a rear end replacement. In just a few hours having the truck, Steve found that it was actually just over torqued/improperly machined rear rotors and had it back to me good as new at a fraction of the cost. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service, work and overall experience. I highly recommend to anyone in need of automotive work to give them a call or go on down and ask to see Steve!
Needed a drive shaft for my truck and the knowledge that these guys have about what my options are is amazing. Steve put together a shaft for me at half the price of the other places that I'd spoken with. Very honest and worth the 1.5 hour drive for me to get exactly what I needed. The Owner and staff are top notch! Can't put a price on knowledge!!! I went to the Ford dealership trying to find a ball joint sleeve and they didn't know what I was talking about. They couldn't even find the part on their computer. Went down the street to School Street truck parts and Steve found the part for me in 10 minutes. Great people to do business with.

I did not think customer service like this even existed in today's world! This is now my go to place for parts as the team at School Street Truck Parts can not be beat. They went out of their way to get me what I needed and to ensure they were the quality I was looking for. They proceeded to process my order quickly and shipped direct. I was shocked to see a follow up call asking if I received my parts on time and of the quality I was told. I can not express enough how pleased I am, thank you for being two steps above the competition!
Steve was very knowledgeable about a relatively obscure part I needed as part of an axle conversion. He was really helpful in asking me lots of questions over the phone to make sure that part I wanted would actually fit. When I got to the shop, he did a number of tests/checks to make sure that the old part matched the old. It was a great experience from start to finish!
Found this gem of a place on car-part.com. Called and spoke to Steve. Very knowledgeable! Went above and beyond any other place I have ordered parts from. They removed some paint from the radius arm I needed and sent pictures to show that it was still solid and not compromised with rust/rot. Then they repainted it and sent it out next day. Called Wednesday, had pictures within 15 minutes, ordered Wednesday, at my door that Friday. All with a very reasonable price. Hard to find that kind of service these days!

Fast, professional and honest! Called looking for a transfer case and Steve wanted to look at mine first before he sold me a used one. Gave him a couple days notice to when I was going to be coming in. Dropped it off at 8 am and picked up the next day at 10 am. Rebuilt mine and he saved me $400. Highly recommend!!

I would recommend this place 100%. I ordered a 5.3 GM engine it was delivered on time and arrived clean and not "hacked up" like from some other places, harness was unplugged and all exhaust bolts removed properly, it even had starter, A/C compressor, alternator, coils and intake still attached. this place has earned my business
