If I could give this place a zero, i would! This place is a scam. They go around looking to tow vehicles out of lots.. and when you do get towed, they ONLY accept cash, no cards. They make up a price to tow you and then a price added on if you pick it up "off hours", even though they are open. This place is so sketchy!
Terrible, terrible service! An old bald man I don’t know his name, but he seems to be the supervisor treats everyone who works there badly. He’s rude and made a prejudiced comment about a child who was with me! This man is a horrible human being!!!
Kind of a scummy business just randomly pulling cars out of the lot where people live at for some random concert playing. I’ve left my car there multiple times with no pass that never got towed, it just seems like they decided to pull my rental, which was a brand new 2025 car probably thinkingthat this person has money so I will take his car. Pretty shitty business to be running.
Terrible. The guy almost backed into my truck and almost knocked my truck off the Jack when I have it jacked up and then started screaming at me. I'm glad I wouldn't ever hire them to do any towing or any work for me
Literally just witnessed one of your drivers forcibly back a Toyota they were towing from Edge Merrimack into a parking barrier as they attempted to tow it. Cannot confirm but also appeared as though they scraped said Toyota against the neighboring Subaru. Left without any type of note. (June 12th ~12:00-12:15)
Negative five. They work for the worst HOA associations and tow people's vehicles without authorization. They towed my vehicle for no reason with zero notice. They also severely damaged my vehicle in tow and acknowledged the damage when I went to pick it up (I took photos immediately). They ghosted me and when I followed up, they proceeded to lie and claim they didn't damage a brand new vehicle with less than 25k on the odometer. Avoid at all costs!!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Car got towed during a parking ban(yes that is my fault) went to pick it up and my back end felt like it wasn't even attached anymore. I can no longer drive my car because these guys literally broke my car. Payed 190.00 to get a car back I can no longer drive. Absolutely pissed.
They will take your credit card information at the start and charge you without discussing the total first. They kept the receipt from my driver. Had to call 3 times to get a receipt just to find out they charged me $380 for a 3 in 1 power/airlines. $580 total with labor to install. Insanity. This should be $300 out the door. I won't be coming back here.

Currently, the maximum rate for police-ordered or involuntary towing (from private property) is $132.00 for towing. The storage rate for non-commercial motor vehicles is set forth in G.L. c. 159B, § 6B. Currently, the rate is $35.00 per 24-hour period for storage. Additional charges may be assessed if additional labor is needed. The Department does not regulate towing requested by a vehicle owner.
Remember people if you get your car out before 24hr you do not have to pay $35
Literal crooks. Towing from what appear to be public parking lots with no written notice posted that parking isn’t allowed. Denied having my vehicle multiple times, and it wasn’t until the end of the day (at least 6 hours after it was towed) that they contacted the police about it- Lowell PD had no record of them towing it prior to that. Tried to charge me $700 in cash only, which is plainly illegal. I didn’t fall for it but I’m sure they’ve taken advantage of many people. They need to stop these practices or be put out of business.
Lowell fleet repair is the best shop I ever take my truck to the guy John is a very good guy he help me so much may god bless him and all the guys that work there will take good care of you John didn’t charge me nothing for fixing my truck he look at me and said go is free nobody ever ever do stuff for me for free may god bless you
They stole my car even though I had permission to park, it took me an hour to locate it just so they could charge me extra, they didn't accept debit or credit cards. They are dishonest and are acting illegally.
These guys are CROOKS. They patrol the parking lot of my apartment complex. One of the drivers was about to tow my car because he said the parking pass looked “fake”. (This was the parking pass I received directly from my landlord). He claimed my car was in the bad spot 2 days in a row. It was not because I was out of state the previous night. They will literally lie and tow your car and hold it hostage. Avoid this business at all costs!
I want to alert everyone about an unfair parking charge I received recently. I was charged over $200 in cash for allegedly parking in the visitor lot, which I did not do. This seems to be a scam, and I want to warn others to be cautious. It's essential to take a picture of your car when you park it to have evidence in case something like this happens. LOWELL FLEET is the worst towing company!! My daughter was at her doctor and didn't realize she had parked in a lot that she was not supposed to. It was a tow spot apparently so I understand that they needed to tow her. That's not my issue. My issue is the fees they charge and the shadiness of only taking cash which tells me they definitely don't care about people and I'm sure they aren't claiming these fees as any sort of income to their business! The basic tow which was one mile away was $130.00. The "lot fee" which I was told was $35.00 "even if it's only here for 5 minutes we charge for a day of storage, it is what it is" and then there's the gas fee (for one mile). Totaling $170.00! I've never heard of such a fee for a tow of one mile, and I've dealt with lots of towing companies throughout my life. They have a lot of negative reviews on Google and they are all accurate as I can now see. If you ever need a tow, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'm sure I will receive a comment below this review from "the owner" that states and I quote "This is Lowell Fleet Maintenance not a towing company please get your comments to the right company" as they have responded to others with towing complaints. I can tell you this in fact the correct company and they do towing, so don't think you are reading about a different company, they do multiple things besides towing! Go somewhere else!!
Lowell Fleet Towing helped me late at night in the pouring rain, when two other companies were unable to. My car was stuck in the mud in my own backyard. The other companies were afraid of also getting stuck and told me to wait until everything dried. I would have been without a car for a while. Lowell Fleet heroically came to the rescue without any hesitation. They were prompt, professional, and proved confidently to be more than qualified to perform the task at hand. I highly recommend this company and would call them in the future if needed.
My car got towed by them while I was doing a delivery for work. However, they were professional and non-confrontational when it was being towed and when I came to pick it up even at 10pm. I've never been towed before, but rate was reasonable. If I get towed at work again, I hope it's from these guys.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a roadside mechanic whose business practices left much to be desired. I found myself in need of urgent assistance when my truck broke down on the highway, and I called upon the services of LOWELL FLEET MAINTENANCE based on their advertised expertise in roadside repairs. However, what transpired during the service call was nothing short of a distressing and unprofessional encounter.
Upon arriving at the scene, the mechanic quickly diagnosed the issue with my truck and assured me that the repair would be straightforward and relatively inexpensive. However, as the work progressed, I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. The mechanic began to insist that the problem was more extensive than initially thought, and he insisted that their tow truck get me to their shop to start work. upon later inspection by a reputable mechanic, parts were found to be in perfectly good condition.
What truly appalled me was the exorbitant bill presented to me upon completion of the so-called "repairs." Not only did the mechanic perform unnecessary work, but the charges for parts and labor were grossly inflated, far beyond the standard rates for such services. It became evident that I had fallen victim to a scam, and the mechanic's actions were nothing short of deceitful and predatory.
In addition to the financial exploitation, the quality of the work performed was subpar, leading to further issues with my truck shortly after the alleged repairs. It was abundantly clear that the mechanic's primary concern was lining his own pockets at the expense of unsuspecting customers, rather than providing honest, reliable service.
I strongly advise anyone in need of roadside assistance to exercise caution and thoroughly research the credibility of any mechanic or service provider before consenting to any repairs. The unethical behavior displayed by Lowell is a disservice to the industry and a violation of the trust placed in professionals who are expected to act with integrity and transparency.
In conclusion, my experience with this roadside mechanic was deeply disappointing, and I caution others to steer clear of them and to avoid falling victim to their unscrupulous and dishonest practices.

Parked in an empty apartment parking lot to bring lunch to my wife who works at lowell community health center. Came back to my car being towed 5 minutes later. Tow driver refused to return car on the spot because i did not have $100 dollars cash. Told the driver i had to pick up my daughter from kindergarten and he LAUGHED IN MY FACE.
As he left with my car he took a sharp turn and my car bottomed out on a curb causing damage to the rear bumper and exaust. Have heard nothing from them regarding payment for the damage caused.

Please use any other towing company if you can. Our car got towed from a parking lot in Lowell, we came here to pick it up and theres 2 huge dogs here, there is dog food and dog vomit on the floor (Some people are allergic to dogs). Then my mom paid to get our car back and spent 1 hour looking for the car in the lot, when she asked the man behind the counter for help all he said was “you have to go around the building”. He refused to show us where the car was AFTER we paid. He said he did not have to show us where the car was. This place is extremely dirty and unprofessional, if you have the option to use any other business you definitely should. This place was gross and much more rude than other towing companies, towing companies are always rude, but this place takes the cake.

These guys are the real heroes. I was at a show last Friday and I am a disabled American. I parked my car in a spot that had no indication on any sign that I needed a permit so I parked my car with my handicap permit. I came back after the show was over, and they towed my car. My automobile is like a wheelchair to me. These men at Lowell Fleet made me walk 10 miles until I could get a ride. I had to bother an 85-year-old man, to drive me the rest of the way there. The only thing they kept saying, is that we have the right to tow your car. I have a right as a human with disabilities to park that handicap placard is my parking permit. But these are the same type of guys that would steal from a handicap person. If I was in a wheelchair, they might as well have just took it from underneath me. This is a sad day for Lowell, the guy at the counter that night was smiling when I stumbled into the to get my car back. I have pictures of the signs that we’re all white it out. It was the main reason why I park there. There was no indication in front of me that I could not park there. This is a very very sad business in Massachusetts.
Don’t waste your time. I called this company to help out with a hub issue. They said someone would be there in 90 minutes. I sent them all the photos and information they asked for and they assured me they had the parts and someone was on the way. 90 minutes later I received a call telling me to send them photos again only to be told by the tech that there is nothing they can do. Mind you the tech didn’t even leave the shop yet after 90 minutes. Had they been up front from the start I would have called another company right away and be back on the road.
I got service from the company a few months ago and they really helped me. It’s already been about 2 months and I can never forget the service I received from them! On top of that they made me feel very comfortable while I was waiting for a ride. The manger (I think) was really looking out for me and understood my situation. They get a 10/10 from me and I 100% recommend!!

I needed a tow in the middle of the night in Lowell to townfair tire in Nashua NH because a crazy pothole blew my new front tire out. They came in the timeframe they had given. The guy was professional, kind and curious. They were $80 cheaper then the other 6 places I called. I had triple A they said two hours then sent a text after two hours saying it will take another four for my driver to get there because he was going to a police accident instead of mine. Needless to say I canceled my triple A cuz it's worthless. All the other companies I called their trucks were broken down or the numbers we're no longer in service and the two other companies that were $80 more and said they would come and then called up and said it would be more hours so this place was great I'd recommend it to anyone and I'm going to use them again for sure
You should pay attention to the signs they mean something if you are illegally parked you will be towed and these guys will do it without hesitation they're good guys but they take their job very seriously so be careful and pay attention to the signs cuz if you see these trucks it's just too late Rich P
