Scammed, I was severely underpaid with no receipt and they looked guilty while doing it. If you check my profile you will have 0 reviews under 5 stars because I do not want to spread negativity about any businesses that benefit the world. But in this case I need to share my experience so that hard working people are protected. This is not directed at the helpful and hardworking employees, this is an issue with management. Prices are inconsistent, your not told the weight. You get handed a wad of cash through a window and have to assume it's correct. Today I brought triple the amount of wire I've brought in the past and received half the money. Guess it depends on the mouth breathing grease monkey and what bills he has due and how much he needs to shove in his pocket. Been here 5 times had decent exchanges every time except today. You think 4 out of 5 isn't bad ? No that's exactly the problem. You never know what you will get . I'll be going elsewhere from now on .
Surprisingly fast, courteous service. The crew was exceptionally helpful. A good deal, well worth the trip.
In appreciation for the crews help, I left a well deserved gratuity on exiting.

Drove into a nice clean parking lot (not like other yards- no fear of flat tires), put a few boxes of metal in the bins, they weighed it and paid me. It took 5 minutes tops.
Been going to this place for years since I was an apprentice with my scrap wire, clean outs, appliances, now I changed out my own muffler system and today was told to pound sand proclaiming to me that I stole it and “we don’t buy cats”. You’re right I totally unbolted it and took it all apart nicely. Don’t waste your time. Go to other places around.
Just got scammed for big money. My visit today was supposed to be for aluminum. My boss had previously weighed the amount of aluminum and had a written amount of how much I should get. I get to the yard 20 mins before closing, automatically get rude treatment, bogus information and no help. Brought the bin to the scale, had to deal with an arrogant individual with lack of professionalism, and he didn't even look inside to see what kind of material I'm bringing to the scale. He got me an absurd rate totally unrelated to the material. Got back to my shop with 80 dollars shorter than what it was supposed to be. My boss does this every weekend with almost the same exact amount every week and never had any issues. So if you are not a familiar face to them, don't bother going there.
There are 2 other places very close to them with better rates and real professionals. After I learned of my deficit, I started calling people that commonly scrap too, and they got furious telling me that every week they stick somebody. Thank you very much for the experience. Definitely not going back. Bad Business for sure.
These guys are the real deal. They are honest, helped unload, and treated us well right out out of the gate. I look forward to working with them again next time in Boston. I would recommend them above anyone else in the area hands down!
