Been coming here for a little while! And today was horrible the Spanish older man was so Rude beyond rude to me and I told him I wouldn’t be bringing my business to them anymore and he said good go somewhere else smh! I noticed he has favorites and I tip all the time! He needs to learn how to treat there true customer! Definitely won’t be back there! I will bring my business elsewhere!
They screw people! I just came and the guy don’t want to show me my weight!

Brought them 2 catalytic converters. They did not enter the serial numbers into their system. Offered me $40 each. Said prices have really come down. Went down the street to Scrap It, they entered into system. Offered $450 for both
It says online they close at 12pm on Saturday got there at 10:50am and the place is already close now I just wast my time, gas to get here for nothing.
Way too small of an area for a scrapyard. Very unorganized. Not too long from arrival to departure. No cash counter. Atm style machine scanned ticket and paid recycling reimbursement. Fair light iron price. Overall good experience. Will be back in future.
Great place to bring metal in most times I've experienced a slight line and had to wait to get in they are so busy. Don't drive on the lot with your brand new tires there's a lot of little pieces of scrap metal around every place... Be sure to watch where you drive your car in the lot carefully.
Scammers beware! These guys paid me only $2.00 for cast iron drums from the rear wheels and brake shoes. It was easily 30-50 lbs in total and they classified it as steel. I asked the guy and he told me that's all the computer has and to go to the guy upstairs in the office who also told me the same thing that steel is the same as iron.
Even on the website it classified brake rotors and drums vs other metals.
Called an employee on the phone. I asked him a common sense question. And he was a sketch about it. And these people are low lives. Will never use them and highly suggest not going here.
Also last time I went here the owner (heavy set guy) said I needed my ID and he weighed my metal while I was going to my truck. And I didn’t even see my metal on the scale. I was short a lot of money. I just didn’t want to say anything because these guys have nothing else to live for and probably try to scare me off...(as I was outnumbered).
When I called the man who answered the phone was exceptionally nice and extremely helpful. After calling multiple places to get prices this place seems to have it all, great customer service along with great prices. Definitely recommend this place!
Been coming here for years always fair on pricing and they accommodate me with whatever I have for material. Nothing bad to say about this yard. I've been to all the yards in Everett and I have stuck with SSIM thank you for your fairness and I will be a loyal customer to this place for years to come.......

The yard is very crowded and was hard to navigate but once I got my car parked, an employee helped me empty my car and I got a very good price for my scrap. They then gave me a recite which I took to an ATM type machine which scanned the bar code and payed me. All very easy.
I have been the auto removal and scrap metal Business since 1967. Could not believe what great workers they have there , they treat you like you're important to them, very courteous and helpful and excellent pricing . I will be giving them all my business. Great place, great prices and great customer service. The general manager, Jay is very nice and he is always very helpful. The service is fast! It is always a pleasure to go there. The phone service is excellent. No need to go anywhere else. SSIM is the best scrap yard around. Do not waste your time anywhere else!
"Best prices and accurate scales" After trying several companies in the same area I found Second Street Iron & Metal to be the best company to deal with.
