First of all quality work, they stand by their work, honor their warranties. I had bad experience with many other Volvo and Mack dealers. Service department in Springfield, Massachusetts earned my trust., I live 70 miles away from them, there is closer distance Volvo services and general mechanics who can fix my equipment , but I prefer to use BALLARD in Springfield, Massachusetts

Brought my truck in for service, mechanic who looked at my truck was fantastic and very helpful. Service office was great to work with as well. I would definitely go there again, highly recommend!

Probably schedule else where because of the lack of consideration. Guy did get employee to stop smoking . Damage is already done.
Awesome people working today!! The techs were on top of their game working on our truck.... and their lead mechanic was the nicest guy I've met in a while ( even if he came from Boston I still like him).... even the parts guy was sooo cool about helping get us back on the road (even keeping his cool while talking to our Fleet Manager asking the same questions over and over).
Arrived and having work done on my truck within minutes! Was finished within a couple of hours!! And the price was unbelievably low. First time that has ever happened to us since we started driving.

My truck started leaking fuel really bad behind the block,the fuel feed hose line rubbed on the block, came to them and they took care of me in the morning instead of making me wait all day. I appreciate that!

I had fuel issues and these got are the best. Back on the road quickly and they are polite, Knowledgeable and eager to help resole your issues. Wish more places were like this place
Excellent Service, were a good 90 minutes from Ballard. Worth the trip when we have to go in for service. The parts department is great too. Easy to get OEM parts shipped right to us in a day when we're doing the work ourselves.
Excellent service. Scott and the other service advisor were very kind and friendly when it came down to an issue with my brand new anthem. Not from the area. Was in the middle of my 2 week run when I stopped in. Pulled my truck in right away and started plugging away to resolve my issue. Their technician did a fantastic job at finding the cause to my problem of a severe cab sag/lean i had. Very professional service. Was kept in the loop all day long as to the steps that were being taken as well as the findings. Fixed the issue promptly and without fuss. YOU FELLAS HAVE A GREAT TEAM!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! WE AT SMF TRANSPORT ARE VERY PLEASED WITH YOUR WORK!!!
Takes entirely to long to get a truck repaired. Also there very deceptive on letting you know when your vehicle will be ready. A little honesty would be an improvement.
Needed a rotor for a truck. Paid for it upfront, since it was a transfer to this store from the Worcester branch. Somehow, they didn't realize it was for transfer and now I'm stuck waiting on parts for a truck that needed to leave the morning the parts WILL BE ARRIVING. And all I got was a shoulder shrug and sorry? No attempt at making anything right about the situation?? Never again. If I could give 0 stars I would.... Find a better spot for parts or just use Rock Auto, they have excellent customer service!!
Took 7hrs of labor to replace and calibrate steering shaft road. After replacing it didn't fix free play of the steering wheel I asked them to fix so the just replaced good part for newer one charged thousand more. All its needed just adjust bolt on steer box. In another time they installed defective clutch brake solenoid that leaks all the air had to bring it back and fix for more labor there hundred more. Mechanics are unprofessional
There is one older mechanic who has zero personality and antisocial when asking about what the problem is with your truck. Besides him the rest are great to deal with.
