This place is great. Who ever the buyer is, they get it. Funky-fresh, interesting, whimsical, a supporter of local crafts people and a supplier of stuff for the creative. Everytime I go in, there's something I want and something that makes me laugh. A true retail store isn't just about the buyer picking out things they think will sell, it's about vision and choosing items that represent that vision. Stores like this and the now-defunct ones like Faces, The Artisan Gallery and Don Mueller understood that. Items inspire you, get in your head, make you more creative, get your hands itchy to make something or do something. You don't Want the thing, you Have to Have it. Rock on!
Wow, what a neat store. Nothing too too expensive, loads of knickknacks and little cute things, and a lot of wow-factor items worth dropping in to check out. Do some Christmas shopping here.
Still one of the best antique/odds and ends store around. The staff here were very friendly and professional. They always have really interesting things for sale. This time I was able to get some more magnets for my fridge. The parking situation is very convenient with all the free parking up and down the street. I am looking forward to going back again soon!
Loved everything there. Has something for all ages. Went there with my partners family and had the privilege of petting Goose. Will go there again. Especially for Goose. All hail Goose.
Good stuff. Great priced cool old thing's. Super nice people who run the store. Lucky to have a shop like this in our area. Always new stuff every time I visit. Store front window always looks great. Lots of Care of how things are displayed. Fun way to spend some time when shopping for decorating ideas.
What an awesome little shop! Lots to browse from vintage doodads to original art prints. A very eccentric collection with jewelry and crystals as well. Right off the bridge in Turner’s Falls off Route 2. Worth a quick detour if you’re heading out to Western Mass
Antiques, cool industrial items, and some locally made art. The inventory changes often, so it's worth stopping in often so you don't miss out.. There's lots of treasure to be found in this cool, eclectic, locally owned shop. So fun!
Right in downtown Turners Falls you'll find a salvage shop from industrial building around the area. There are also handmade items from local artist. Offering tables, wall decor, type writers, industrial mold for different things and old storage boxes to add a little rustic or industrial element to your space. Owner and staff are very nice and helpful. The items are always changing every visit you'll find a new gem.
Recommended by the wooden bowl place across the river. Very happy we diverted our path to visit. Great prices, great stock. Lots of unusual items. So many treasures!
Great eclectic shop. Unique vintage finds and local crafts. You never know what cool surprise you'll find! Great for home decor in particular. And the people there are just the nicest!
Interesting and unusual collection of old manufacturing and industrial artifacts from local businesses, including cutlery molds and forms, and creative new items made by local craftspeople. Lots of this and that to look at, bits and pieces. When I visited today they had bundles of leather book spines from $10, which would fit a wrist nicely if one was inclined to make bracelets. Be aware though, returns are accepted for store credit only.
Fun store to check out for one of a kind vintage items. Has a number of great items for decorating areas of a home like kitchen, dining and living rooms.
We traveled there to pick up a Lamson & Goodnow steel cutout sheet from production of cleavers, to use as a item of kitchen art.

Loot is simply a fun experience! Families shop together and everyone is happy. Kids find so many intriguing things to explore, parents find delights all over the shop! I'm usually in the jewelry or the plants section. Loot has a remarkable assortment of offerings - something for everyone. Sales people are knowledge and delightful, and the owners of Loot are terrific.
Excellently curated shop of random stuff. Some handmade stuff, some knick-knacks, some vintage stuff, furniture. Always something interesting. And great logo and great Loot t-shirts. Go here!
LOOT is the kind of place where you find decor you didn't know you needed. I have my eye on a range of items, from sheet metal that's had dozens of forks cut from it (leaving a surprisingly beautiful wall hanging) to assorted type press letters. The inventory is well-curated and prices are reasonable.
The stock changes weekly, but generally expect odds and ends from industrial plants. A more permanent collection of jewelry and glassware from local artists sits in one corner, and the occasional gallery shows are a treat.
My friend described this shop like "looking through his mother's attic". I might agree if his mother's attic were meticulously curated with industrial relics, clean modern decor, and vintage baubles. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town or passing by. On par or better than any of these types of shops that you might find in a Northampton type town or bigger city.
Industrial chic, whimsical decorating and gift items. Curated with eye for design, merchandised with professional style. I would expect this store to be in a much larger city, but hey, why not Turners Falls? Worth the short drive from Root two.
my family loves loot!!!! I can't say enough about how cool and eclectic this store is with their stellar staff but I will. I have children who are coming of age a ten year old and 12 year old and they love to go to the store and buy stuff to make stuff. They do this adventure on their own.. they have learned with the help of the staff to bargain , count and make purchases all on their "own" They have come to be big fans of supporting this local business and the care and time that they take with each person is really awesome.... So not only are they wonderful and kind to the big spenders but to the pennies that the kids bring in they give special care and attention to them as well. thank you for building a stronger community you all rock!!!!!
