I'm a fan of Bob's based upon their friendly and thorough service. And that's despite them failing my inspection once in the past! Another time, I had a rear license plate light that was out. They said that they might have a replacement bulb around and offered to replace it for me. They encountered a little more than they had planned on when changing it because of some rust in the fixture... we'll 20 frustrating minutes later it was in, and my car passed inspection. The charge is $35 for the inspection and $2 for the bulb! I gave him a $10 tip since he could have just failed the car and let me run around to find and replace the bulb on my own, so it was very much appreciated! Changing review. My car failed for a bad front end. I initially rated poorly because a mechanic told me the front end was fine. The mechanic then rechecked the front end like they check them during an inspection, with a floor jack, and saw that it was loose. So, inspection was correct.

I had a less than positive experience after my first encounter at Bob’s, and I had contemplated coming back to get my sticker on my car once the issue it was failed for had been fixed. I decided to go, seeing as at that point all they had to do was recognize I had fixed the issue. This time I was greeted by someone when I arrived. Then the current shop owner or manager, came over and introduced himself and identified me from my review. He apologized and established that they were sorry to hear I had a bad encounter at their shop. I can respect how they handled the situation and they put a sticker on my car very quickly. Have used Bob's for several vehicle inspections. They operate on a first come first serve basis and move the line right along while being courteous and thorough. Excellent service!
Great place to go for an auto inspection, it takes 5-10 minutes when you're first in line. Sometimes they'll pass your car if something minor is wrong, like the headlights pointing a little too high.
This was my first visit to Bob's. I came to get my car inspected and was very pleased with how they've adapted to the Covid-19 situation. Plenty of clear signage to remind and instruct patrons of the safety guidelines, all employees were keeping safe distance and wearing face masks/coverings, and all were polite and personable to all customers - these guys are doing it right. I will happily give Bob's my business in the future.
Sign hours are inaccurate. Came by at 11:40 am today (Saturday) to get my inspection and there's nobody here. I rushed to get here and now have to come back. Don't trust their signs.
I've been getting my cars inspected here for 13 years, will keep going back as long as I can. My cars have failed to pass a couple of times in that timeframe but it's always been for good reason when they've failed me.
Go here to get your car registered. It's where I get the registration for my cars done every year. They're easily the fastest guys when it comes to checking a car and they move customers in and out all day long. They're walk in style so you don't need to book an appointment. When my cars fail an inspection, they can schedule a follow up and a service appointment to fix the issue.
They're quality mechanics and ive never been disappointed.
