The Amherst area have plenty of mechanics that are predatory, but they are definitely not one of them. They are one of the most respectful, professional, and considerate auto repair businesses I’ve come across.
When I first contacted them, they quickly scheduled me for the earliest available appointment to inspect my car. During the appointment, they thoroughly checked the vehicle, carefully explained the issues, and gave me sincere and honest advice instead of trying to upsell unnecessary repairs like many other mechanics do.

It's a small, independent shop, but Phil has been doing this for a long time and knows what he's doing. For the few things that his shop is not equipped to handle, he will refer you to someone who has the right equipment. He always looks out for his customers, and tries to give them the best possible options. Unlike most shops, I never worry about being overcharged or having unnecessary work done.
