I went to Groveland Auto to look at purchasing a 2012 MINI Cooper Clubman S. It was an exceptional experience. 5+ stars! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner (Fadi) took the time to answer all my questions about the car. He gave us the keys and let us test drive it by ourselves, which I really appreciated. The car itself was exactly as advertised—clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition for its age. Everything about the vehicle was explained clearly and honestly. I really appreciated Fadi's transparency and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality used car and great customer service.

The owner is far from friendly to the elderly having threatened me for parking in the wrong place while dropping off my nephew to pick up my car Scary.

Quick review. I intend to update: I brought my vehicle in due to shaking during acceleration. I was told that the spark plug in cylinder 2 needed to be replaced and that, since the engine was already being accessed, all six spark plugs should be replaced. Trusting the mechanic's professional judgment and wanting to properly maintain my vehicle, I agreed. The repair did not resolve the issue and returned the following day. I was told the engine would need to be taken apart. At that point, I declined further work and decided to take the vehicle to the dealership, as it is a relatively new used vehicle (44,000 miles) and I no longer felt confident after being told the issue had been fixed when it had not. I also overheard one of the shop's employees state that "every vehicle fixed in the shop the day before was back the next day." The dealership just informed me that no spark plugs or coils were replaced and that all components are original. I am blown away right now. Based on this information, I will be pursuing this matter through the various agencies.

I went into Groveland auto because my tire pressure light was on Fadi checked pressure on all tires and filled them. I asked him what I owed him and he said nothing. I think Groveland is very fortunate to have them as a business. He is always willing to help. Thanks for the help today.

I’ve been going here for a couple of years and never had a problem until this last year. I even got my husband to start going here, however they also screwed his car up too this last year twice. I got my brakes done earlier in the year and whoever put them in did them wrong (as the owner then told me to only go to him now). He then explained that because I had them recently done by them that the front brake work would be free… it wasn’t. They got that money back by tripling the price on two parts the calipers that are normally $50-60, but charged me $180 (my dad checked out my bill and was absolutely furious, I’m a new mom and as of right now don’t work so pretty careful with money and my dad said they absolutely took advantage of me being a woman). I get charging a little extra but triple the price is so un-honest and deceitful especially when I have been coming here religiously for all my car issues. The other issue was my husband has a Subaru and they have weird tire screws and they completely stripped a couple of them and then charged him to put new ones on after they screwed them up. They also put a new battery into his car and ever since he has had electrical issues where his battery just constantly drains, prior to that it was never an issue. Anyways I wish this didn’t happen as we loved how this was down the road from us and easily accessible, but I just can’t bring myself to go back to a place that completely ripped me off with parts.

On Monday July 28,2025 My husband drove to get gas at Groveland auto repair As he was pulling into a newly paved part of the repair station, he ran over a ramp newly put in by the state I was told by Groveland Auto and popped two tires. Immediately my husband went inside Groveland auto repair and told them what had just taken place. Not surprised the reply was “wow you are the third car to have this happen” (SMH here. ) my husband decided that this was the obvious place to get the tires repaired as it was right were the tires had blown out. Rick one of the workers was friendly. However after two days of “ ordering the wrong tires“ we finally on Thursday called to check in and see if the car was ready. I made the phone call and could not hear Rick over the unbelievable cursing that was going on and believe me,I am not a prude. I have dropped the F bomb a few times, but this was unbelievable! I actually thought that it was the person on the phone speaking to me which he quickly told me it was the mechanic in the background finally after another callback they told me I could pick up my car. I showed up with my husband at the auto repair and our car was blocked in by another car and our bill was outrageous!$750 plus change to replace two tires. My husband was very upset being a mechanic himself and let them know It was very high and the Reason that the tires blew was because he had pulled into their gas station. That being said, my husband got mad and left, and I asked to speak to the owner. ( told he wasn’t there ) I spoke to a manager named Meredith, who was civil and told me that she had called the state to come down and fix the issue with the ramp/road. I asked her if I was going to be reimbursed for the tires and she said that she would be on top of it and that I could come into the convenience store and talk to her at a later time. I never got her number but whatever, this is how they roll. I went outside to retrieve my car. A man told me to go back into the waiting room because I was waiting for my car to be pulled out of the garage. I asked him if he was the owner. He said yes and explained to me that he understood the horrible language, but he couldn’t get any other mechanics. “Ok then maybe you should have a private reception area so we can’t here the trash mouth guy? “ I also told him that the bill was incredibly high, and my husband was upset. I’m not sure if the owner really cared or not, but when I mentioned to him about the screaming language and cursing on the phone and how it wasn't professional or good for his business He didn’t really seem to care. I just don’t understand how a business owner would allow this or at least make a quiet place where you could not hear the mechanic screaming curses nonstop. We won’t go back to Groveland auto repair not just for the unprofessionalism but the highly inflated bill. We will try to contact the town or Groveland or The Mass state highway dept to try to get this bill resolved (not hopeful) Finally I was told by the manager and also Rick the attendant that we were a third car to have our tires blown on that same spot! Warning ‼️ if you do choose to use this business, please be careful pulling in and out as you may also pop a couple tires.

They got everything done quickly and efficiently, and I truly appreciate the consistent, high-quality service they provide. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in their work. My ford f150 front left tire was lifted up about 1-2 ft high and dropped from that height on to the ground. Guy said it was part of state inspection for suspension. To me it didn’t look like a good thing to do to a truck. I don’t know anything about inspections but I’ve never seen that practice before.

I bought a 2014 Jetta GLI Autobahn from them a few weeks ago. It was better than I could have hoped for. He gave me the keys, said to take it on the highway, take my time. I took it around the block then paid for it on the spot. This is my first car so I had no insurance, so he sets me up with someone he knows, and they are also absolutely fantastic. (Andrews Insurance ?) The whole day was awesome. Fadi (the owner) is just a good man. And his wife's store next door is the cleanest I've ever seen in my life. I told my cousin (who is going to need a car soon) that we're going to look at his inventory first. Can't thank these guys enough.

Adding to this review from 4 years ago. My husband and I continue to get our vehicles serviced here, I recently had both my vehicles needing some repairs and the shop went above and beyond to get both my vehicles back to me, going as far as coming to jump my vehicle and help me get both my vehicles back home. They really do care about their customers and I strongly recommend to anyone who wants fair pricing and transparency in their work. Fantastic service!! Did a free inspection after I hit a snow bank, will be working with this considerate and professional auto shop for my new bumper replacement! My husband and I just moved to the area and have gone here 3 times so far for oil changes, break replacements, and now a bumper replacement.

I purchased a vehicle from Groveland Auto and had a great experience. Fadi went through the entire vehicle with me making sure I knew about any issues it may have had. Plus, if you need a fantastic and honest mechanic, Fadi and his staff are the ones you want to go to.

I was skeptical looking for a reliable used car for my daughter who started college this year and would be commuting a lot. After many cars looked at (basically overpriced junk) we stumbled across a vehicle Fadi posted, this man went over the vehicle with us, let us take it out for a long drive and even didn’t flinch when we said we wanted our mechanic to look at it. Fadi does not BS, he knew I wanted a good car for my daughter and he made sure everything was perfect and that it was the vehicle we needed. Our mechanic came back with a few things that needed some attention and Fadi took care of everything! Fadi and crew, I thank you for your word and honesty. Came in here as a last ditch effort to have a scraping noise diagnosed. They took me in within an hour and i had them do an inspection at the same time. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Recommend 100%

I came in here today because my AC wasn’t working on my 2018 Honda. I was helped by the owner Fadi who assessed the car and seen that it was the AC condenser. He printed out that there is a recall on this part for my car and waited for me to call Honda, where they told me it is covered and can be fixed for free. Fadi didn’t have to tell me this information and could’ve just made a sale. I’ve never experienced such honesty in an auto body and it is greatly appreciated in these hard times. Thank you!

Fadi gives the best deals and prices for car work in the area. He goes out of his way to make sure female customers feel comfortable and are not taken advantage of or overcharged for car work. My brother and myself have been going to Groveland Auto for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I first started going to Groveland Auto when I moved to the area. My car dealership had just handed me a draft of things my car needed for about $10,000 ( when I had gone in for an oil change). I couldn’t believe it, so I got another opinion from Groveland Auto. We went through what my car needed urgently, what I should plan on needing soon and how long I planned on keeping my car. ( which the dealership never asked). Groveland Auto saved me about $7500 that day. I never looked back.

I'd like to recommend the owner of Groveland Auto Repair & Sales, Fadi Issa. I recently brought my car in for service & for my convenience, Fadi gave me a loaner car so I could run errands. While at the store, I somehow lost my keys (including the only key to the loaner vehicle). Long story short, Fadi had the car towed back to the shop & a new ignition installed. $500 later, he could drive his OWN car. He could have easily charged me for MY mistake but he didn't. Who does that? Fadi does. This man is not only honest, but he's kind, compassionate & generous. Fadi stands behind the work done in his garage. He's a man of his word & an active member in our community. We are lucky to have him in Haverhill! If you need repairs or a new vehicle, I highly recommend you stop by his Auto Shop & trust your car/truck to Fadi Issa and his expert team of technicians.

Fadi and his team are awesome! My car died in a car dealer parking lot. The dealer lied about having checked it out and said it seemed like a complicated electrical problem. Fadi told me to have it towed to him immediately. He had it fixed within 90 minutes -- new battery. Left it overnight to add on an oil change and tire rotation. It was ready for pick-up by 8:30 a.m. Thank you Groveland Auto!

Attention to detail is second to none. The owner is very knowledgeable and gets things done in a timely manner. Respectable family business.

I've been living in Haverhill for almost 7 years and hadn't found a mechanic I trusted yet until I came here 2 weeks ago. Fadi and his wife are so kind, honest, and flexible. Fadi correctly diagnosed a problem within hours that the dealership couldn't recreate over multiple visits. He didn't oversell me, and he had my truck fixed within a day. I'm so relieved to have found this shop and these great people; I am recommending them to everyone!

Excellent customer service and Prices! I had to replace the brakes and rotors on my truck. Fadi gave me an unbeatable price and his crew got the job done in the same day. I have been going here for a while and have always had friendly and timely service. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great deal and a timely repair!

Had the engine cooling fan replaced. Bought my own part on Amazon as it was the cheapest and has a lifetime warranty on the part and installation. Had the part shipped to the garage. They replaced it fast and expertly. No issues. They always do excellent work. The only complaint is that Fadi said he would charge me more for the repair since I bought my own part. Total repair cost was less than the dealer's so I accepted it, and as I said, they always do good work. The other thing is that no one in the garage wears a mask, while we are in the middle of the worst Covid surge ever. So their germs are all over your car. I asked Rick about not wearing a mask, who works there, and he doesn't believe in masks. So there's that.

I have been taking my cars to Groveland Auto since moving to Groveland in 2014 and have always found the service to be excellent and the cost very reasonable. My son, stepson, and husband now take their cars there at my recommendation and are pleased as well. The owner has always been very pleasant and helpful, explaining the repairs to me. The only bad experience I had was when he was away and someone else was running the shop. That ended up being a communication problem -once he was clear what I needed they took care of it right away. I highly recommend Groveland Auto Repair.
