Everyone I have come in contact with at MV Autoworks (yes you Angel and Tony) is helpful and genuinely personable. Their estimates are done quickly and the team works well with insurance companies for repair costs caused by an accident. Their communications with clients are spot on with the timing for appointments and updates. Last but not least the billing is done in a highly professional way with well detailed entries of the work completed and also work that needs to be done.

terrible mechanic. they “fix” your car just to have more problems come up for them to charge you for. the. they don’t pay attention to your description of the problem, and blame you for their incompetence and inability to listen. go elsewhere!

Needed tire pressure sensor replacement for a Toyota 2017 RAV 4. Easy appointment to book, same day service, and made an after hours retrieval easy for me.

This time it was just a scheduled maintenance / oil change, but we have been using MV Autoworks for all our car repairs for about 15 years. They have always been good at communication, estimating cost and time, and of course the work has been super. Courteous and professional all the way!

We live on an island so any car repair/service is expensive, but MV autoworks took good care of my car. I found them to be very communicative and responsive and the car was finished when they promised.

The jury is out and on whether they get a good(honest) review. And one star becomes five. The expression..” do the right thing” when you cannot complete the agreed/expected repairs at a fair price is appropriate in this situation….. Stay tuned. I’ll keep you all posted here and all social media

After service was done, the interior overhead light was left on , which I was unaware of and the battery( recently new) was dead when I went to use the car after a few days.

Extremely expensive. If you think paying $285 for an oil change in a Toyota sienna is OK you should come here. They charged $125 for oil and $125 for labor on a 30 minute job. Would highly recommend going somewhere else.

I recently had to have my Mercedes GLK350 repaired. On Martha's Vineyard with limited options I had to search for a shop that serviced Mercedes. In my search I called MV Auto Repairs and Toni was very professional , understood the issue and immediately scheduled an appointment. I couldn't be happier with the results. The mechanics were knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, making me feel comfortable with the process. They were also very honest and upfront about the cost, Angel called and explained in details the problem and while expensive, I felt comfortable with the charges necessary to address the problem. All work was done in the time frame Angel gave and kept me informed of the process. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for pleasant , professional and knowledgeable service and make you feel comfortable . I wish to thank Angel and Toni for their par excellent service and will go no where else than to MV Auto for all our car needs.

I just had a great experience at Angel‘s Auto Body, working with Angel, Tony, and their crew. I had a dent in my bumper, they were able to fix it quickly, and at half the price they had quoted to me. In addition, they adjusted a faulty car window frame at no additional cost. And they did it within the timeframe I needed. A terrific experience with these skilled men. I’ll be back!

MV Autoworks is the ONLY place I will ever go to on Martha’s Vineyard for my auto maintenance and repairs. Angel and Tony and staff are professional and do not intimidate me as most garages have done for my entire life. I don’t know or care to know about a caliper or piston or which stick checks my oil and they listen without judgement when they know I don’t know what I am talking about. They calmly say “ bring it down today and we’ll take a look at it”. I suppose my favorite part is that there is a comfortable place to sit and wait if I ever have to wait. There is tv , WiFi , drinks , magazines,,snacks and candy available too! Also, They are fast with diagnostics and repairs and I have never had to leave my car there longer than 1 or 2 days. Finally, I love that communication is through text and everything is written out in detail and payment can be done online through their texting system if you choose to do so. How refreshing to find a reliable, trustworthy auto place that picks up the phone when I call, fixes what needs fixing and never leave me feeling ignored or ripped off. WAY TO GO GUYS!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

MV Auto performed an evaluation of whether they would fix my 2019 x5 BMW. They recommended I have it towed to a dealer off island because there was a recall notice for the starter. They performed the evaluation two days ahead of schedule.

Highly recommended. While it took a few days to get an appointment (the price of popularity!), the failed alternator for this older Mercedes C280was quickly diagnosed and replaced. Very pleased with the experience.

A friend recommended MV Autoworks to us and we gave them a try. They worked on an old truck of mine that had loads of issues, and they quickly diagnosed and fixed all of them. Great at problem solving and really fast service, so couldn't be happier!

Any Martha's Vineyard auto repair is increasingly expensive and relegated to a service for the wealthy as labor and real estate drive up prices beyond the reach of ordinary mortals. So I will not punish this shop, or any other on-island service, for high prices... as frustrating as the situation may be for everybody involved. That given, MV Autoworks managed to service our car (a full front assembly replacement & engine mount repair on an unreasonably old Volvo not designed for MV roads) when nobody else could/would due to a lack of availability. Four other shops declined. Availability was formerly an issue in July/August and now can be a problem well into November and December. Mid-Nov in this case. My brother now takes his cars off-island for repair and I'd have done the same if I had the time and it was not a potential safety issue to drive the vehicle. MV Autoworks did it quickly (a couple of weeks) and exceeded my expectations when other shops couldn't even look at it. I should note some credit to Auto Europa for solid / honest advice & assist even though they couldn't take it. They made an effort and I appreciated that. I'm sure I paid considerably more than what an off-island repair would cost. But then, a tow off island can cost $1,500 so, well, we'll call it a Martha's Vineyard Auto (not "Autoworks" per se) tax. Ultimately, I was pleased with the rapid and professional service -- especially since the alternative was no service at all. The on-island bar for auto repair is low so don't expect miracles. Be happy when it gets done in a reasonable time and expect to pay a premium. In this case, it got done quickly and I likely paid a premium - no complaints.
