I had my car towed today after it broke down on the side of a very busy street, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about my tow operator. She was, without question, the most skilled flatbed operator I’ve ever seen.
The situation could have been stressful, but she handled a very tight and challenging spot with complete confidence and precision, safely loading the car with what looked like effortless ease. Then took the time to make sure her truck was positioned so that I could safely get in. Her professionalism, awareness, and technical skill were truly impressive.
Beyond that, she was an absolute pleasure to talk with on the ride to my dealership — friendly, calm, and genuinely personable. She turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a smooth and even enjoyable one.
This is the kind of professionalism that reflects incredibly well on your company. She is a true asset, and I hope her work is recognized. Highly recommend!

Waited for 3.5 hours with one towing service through AAA, they canceled the tow job on my car but the David from south coast towing showed up in less than 20 min and got the car on the truck faster than I've seen with any other company 5 stars for speed and customer service.
This guy was great, working for South Coast towing , they arrived 30 minutes after I called and they brought myself and my truck right back to another truck I had available for an additional $30 which helped my Uber would have cost me $55 I was more than pleased with the driver and the towing company
My windshield wipers became entangled and loose during the rainy windy storm today while driving on the highway. Called AAA and Kaysie from Southcoast Towing came to originally tow my car. She looked at my car, tightened up the blades and referred us to an auto parts store to purchase and to have blades installed. She was great help as I didn’t have to have my car towed during the storm. Good job Kaysie!

I got a call from Eduardo with in minutes of reporting my breakdown he was very kind and reassuring he got there so fast, loaded the car perfectly and quickly, and did it all in freezing cold weather with no complications or complaints, I could not be more grateful for him!

If I could leave a zero star I would. SouthCoast Towing towed my car that was parked infront on my apartment for no reason. Then made me pay the $226. Shawomet Garden hawks they come around 3am. Other than that you never see them in the area. Money hungry business rite here.

The hood of my car randomly popped open & completely shattered my windshield. By some twist of fate Eduardo (& another gentleman) happened to be going by and they stopped. We spoke momentarily and I gave the office a call. And even there was extremely helpful and calming! Once there , I , dealt with The boss and Ms Paula , and they were prepared , present and willing to do whatever they could to help! I was there no longer than 20 minutes , put in a rental and went on my way! The healthiest experience I’ve encountered with towing , rental and insurance in any form! 10 out of 10.

I waited almost 3 hours on AAA when my serpentine belt popped off and the battery died. After them giving the run around 3 times on the phone and not being transparent that the truck driver was still working on another job I called Southcoast Towing. They arrived in 15 minutes and the driver was able to jump me to put up my windows when dropping it off at the shop since it was going to rain. Will use their services again if needed (but I hope I won't have to for awhile).
David and another man came to tow my car for me less than an hour after I called. The entire ordeal was fast and painless. They even have the option to pay online which is super convenient. Thanks guys
David was great to deal with, he’s asked questions about the vehicle no one has bothered to to ask, like suspension problems , is it driveable, where I want it specifically dropped off at, if there’s a drop box for a key. He also went above and beyond, was on time, and let me know when he dropped the vehicle off and sent a confirmation photo. 5/5 would recommend

After having 2 other tow companies try to tow my car for an electrical issue. Eduardo from South Coast showed up to save the day! They are an hour and a half away, but showed up and had my car on the tow truck within 10 minutes. I waited 6 hours for the other companies. He was great! If I could give zero stars, I would. South Coast Towing towed my car from a lot that had no signage, no active business, and no legal justification—and then their driver parked both his personal car and tow truck in the exact same spot he removed me from.
Yes, you read that right: They towed my car to make room for themselves.
This isn’t enforcement—it’s abuse of power for personal convenience. I have photos of both vehicles parked in the unmarked lot immediately after the tow. When I asked for an explanation, I got none—just a $235.97 cash demand to get my car back.
This company is either complicit or negligent. Either way, you should be very cautious before doing any business with them or assuming their actions are legal. Especially in New Bedford, where construction lots and private parking areas are already a mess, South Coast Towing seems to be using the confusion to their financial advantage.
This isn’t a misunderstanding. It’s predatory behavior.
Victor picked up my 2017 Honda CRV and delivered it to my mechanics shop in an extremely professional manor. He took extra care ensuring my vehicle was transported safely and provided pictures of the vehicle after it was successfully delivered. Very satisfied with his service and would glady use South Coast Towing again.
My experience with South Coast Towing was exceptional. Kenneth was awesome went above and beyond to help tow my car. The front spring broke which put a huge hole in my front tire so we needed a flat bed truck. He backed in my neighbors driveway perfectly to get to the front end of my car and towed it away. Would highly recommend them.
David @ South Coast Towing took care of My Baby! I had to tow My 09 S550 and had lost the key he took as much care, as possible anyhow, and got me to my destination! Not to mention the maneuvering to get the flatbed into the back driveway!5 Stars!
Driver named Matthew assisted me in a situation regarding my vehicle. It was no easy task for him but through it all he was kind, patient, caring, & understanding. It was very much appreciated.
A mva is what brought us there unfortunately, but the very nice employee Paula was super helpful and was able to get info from the insurance company that I couldn't get because hubby is lead on the acct. She did most all the leg work concerning processing my poor totaled car. Much appreciated. Now we wait for the insurance company to do their part.
