Seems like a good place to me! Hard to get a full idea as I haven't been a camper or councilor. But as a food service worker, the Company currently holding the contract is doing a great job.
I went here for 3 years as a camper and was a homesick kid who was afraid of leaving home but this place is something different. Everyone that you spend 4 weeks becomes family to you. Everything about this place is perfect and gave me the most fun summers I will ever have. If you thinking about going here no matter who you are you should come to Becket. It will change your life forever. It teaches you lessons that will last you a lifetime.

We photographed a wedding at Camp Becket but we wish we had known about it sooner- because we would have picked it for our own wedding!! A truly special, beautiful place filled with wonderful people.
Had an amazing time with my students. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed at one of the largest cabins. It was pretty nice. The staff are super friendly and patient lol.
My favorite part was archery and seeing my students canoeing.
Camp Becket is open year round. For two months over the summer, they are open as an all boys summer camp. The remainder of the year groups are able to schedule and rent space at the camp. The Youth coalition I'm a part of had a great time this weekend. All the staff were friendly and relatable. They were open to conversation, they were goofy, and also knew when and how to be serious and professional. If you are looking for a great team building space, Camp Becket is where you want to be!
Fantastic theme song. It's fun to stay here, it's a place to go. Theres many ways to have a good time. Good place to hang with the boys, get yourself clean, have a good meal, do what about you feel. Make real your dreams. Go there, to the YMCA, I'm sure they can help you today. Someone came up to me and said, "take a walk up the street" talking about the YMCA.
I was a camper here during the first half of the summer and it was a very open space where you could be yourself and open up more and make Many good friends.
YMCA Camp Becket for boys and Chimney Corners Camp for girls are idyllic, values-based, 4- or 8-week, sleep-away summer camps in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. Staff and camper retention rates are very high, so consider applying a year BEFORE your child is ready. Starting age is 8 years, although this is early for most boys. Financial aid is available.
