Patrick and Lacey were so helpful today re affixing my interior rear view mirror that literally fell from its casing as I drove to Provincetown! I'll be back for bigger things when needed- they were so professional and kind!

In 2020, I took my kids on vacation to the Cape. Our Honda Fit broke an axel for no apparent reason at night on the highway in North Truro. AAA wanted me to get it towed to a certain garage but the tow guy was local and said no, you want Outermost Auto. I'm so glad he did. The owner of Outermost Auto was incredibly nice to us. He rushed to get our car fixed because our rental was almost up and we couldn't afford to extend it. He even drove around collecting the parts needed to fix the axel and additional damage to the transmission instead of ordering the parts and waiting for them to arrive. It took me five years to write this review but I think about him every year at this time because it's the anniversary of that cursed car's final attempt to kill me. (I dropped my kids off at home and drove the car directly to a dealership, where I traded it in for a new RAV4. I know Hondas are supposed to be reliable but this one has tried to kill me in some dramatic and unpredictable way every few months since I bought it.)
Amazing auto repair facility servicing Provincetown area. Stopped in for a tire repair. They took me right in and performed the repair on the spot. Friendly, courteous, and professional customer care team and owners. Ask for Patrick.

Patrick is a fantastic mechanic. Very honest and extremely knowledgeable. Lacey is very sweet and I love being greeted by their two sweet dogs. I am greatful for everything they have done for my vehicle over the past three years. 🙏
Needed air in my tires, stopped in and they were friendly, helpful and put air in for me right away!! They have the sweetest dogs to greet you at the office door, and who doesn’t love a garage doggie!?? Highly recommend!

I needed an overdue oil change. Lacy squeezed me in and turned around the car within a few hours. Pat is so knowledgeable and both he and Lacy are the nicest people. Highly recommend them!!

I had my car serviced before going on vacation which included a brake job. After driving 4 hours to the Cape, my right rear brake was making a loud scratching and thumping noise. Outermost auto is the only shop for 10 miles and I didn’t want to risk it. So I carefully drove the car over and spoke with the owner and his wife. I was told they had more than a week’s wait for an appointment. I explained the situation and they were so empathetic to the fact that I was far from home with my kids. They said I could leave it and they would see what they could do.
I received a call the next day to come pick up the car. I asked what was wrong and how much it would cost. I was told to come in and speak with her husband.
Well, the next part was kind of crazy. They said it was a simple fix - a small piece of sheet metal/ clip had bent over. He said it took more time to pull it in than to fix it. NO CHARGE! He had even found my original receipt from my mechanic and called him to
give him a heads up.
I really tried to pay them something for their time and consideration and they would not take my money.
I am so thankful to these folks for making my day (and my vacation in a way. I would have been stressed the entire time worrying about fixing the car to get my family home).

Without an appointment they took me in right away. My rear tire found a nail in it and they took care of it immediately. Simply put a nice family business with super nice people, highly recommended.
Pat is very knowledgeable about both domestic and foreign brands. Very fair pricing, Totally honest. It's actually nice to spend time with him and Lacy, you almost forget about your car problems. I bring my cars there and I'm always completely satisfied. We're lucky to have him here.
My rear brakes died and the left rear wheel got locked up when we were hiking near Truro. Naturally, it happened on Saturday evening when everything was closed. I called AAA and asked them to tow my car to Outermost Automotive. Despite being really busy, they quickly fixed my car and did a really good job. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend these guys.
I hit some debris on Rte. 6 one evening and didn't think anything of it. The next morning my car was making a weird noise. Something had fallen down and was dragging - or, rather, being pushed - as I drove. I had an appointment in Hyannis that afternoon that I couldn't miss. I pulled into Outermost Automotive and the gentleman who was busy working on another car stopped what he was doing and flopped down on the ground to take a look. He said I would need to have the entire part replaced, but he could cut off the part that was flapping, making it easier for the back portion to come off. I told him I had to be in Hyannis, but asked if I could bring it back to him in the morning, and he didn't even hesitate before saying that I needed to get it fixed that day, knowing that I wouldn't be able to give him the business. And the kicker was that he wouldn't even take anything for helping me. I will take my car here any time I can.
Our 1999 Jeep died on the way to get an off road beach permit at the start of our one week of vacation for the year. Outermost Automotive went above and beyond to get us back on the road in time to enjoy a few days on the beach! Based on my description of how the Jeep died, he ordered all the parts he might need before he even had time to diagnose. Being at the end of Cape Cod, getting parts can be difficult, especially for an older vehicle. And he is a brilliant mechanic, knows his stuff. And charged a very fair price for the work. And also just a really nice family to work with! We cannot thank them enough for saving our vacation!!
Asked if I could check tire pressure because that pesky light came on! Stopped what he was doing and quickly checked out four and added air into one of them for me. Can't say how long it's been since I had someone do something and not charge and with a great smile to boot! I know I will not be a regular because I don't live here but I hope my review helps the regulars remember what a great business this is. Made it back to Rockland with no issues. Many thanks!
As everyone else has said, these people were fantastic! Very fair prices and really fast service. Got a screw in my tire and they were able to quickly patch the tire and get me back on the road. Highly recommend these people!
Great honest people! My tire pressure light came on and they checked it and did not charge me anything! Service was great. If you are having car problems in P Town then be sure to come here!
The owner is the finest human as well as mechanic! His lovely wife at the office is just as wonderful if not more so. They helped me with issues after my car was stolen and in had key fob problems.
Visited them while on the Cape on vacation, when my car developed a strange noise. Everyone there was extremely nice, fixed the problem in ten minutes. Had a good conversation with the mechanic, and the charge was very reasonable. Car trouble on vacation is the worst. If I lived in Ptown, this would be my new mechanic.
