I was vacationing in the area and got a tire puncture while driving. I limped into their lot just as the tire finished going flat. They had me back on the road in about 20 mins with a patched tire and charged a very reasonable price. Thank you, you saved my day and my vacation too!
I took my truck in for a wheel wobble and windshield leak, they took my money and gave it back and it was still wobbling. I drove it right back in. They then forgot about it for three weeks, didn't fix anything and didn't call me. They don't pick up the phone most times. I took it somewhere else and they say the truck needs two tires, a hub assembly and an upper control arm. Nice enough people and the work they did do wasn't expensive.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Above and Beyond Service! Our family’s vacation to the Outer Banks almost ended before it began when our minivan broke down just 3 hours into the 7-hour drive from the Philadelphia area. We were stressed and unsure of what to do when we searched for local auto mechanic- these gentlemen went above and beyond.
They worked late into a Saturday night trying to get us back on the road, and when the repair didn’t take, we continued on with our other vehicle. Then he came in on Sunday—to get the minivan repaired. Not only did he fix the issue, but he also personally drove nearly two hours to meet us with our van so we could continue on with our vacation.
Because of their kindness, dedication, and incredible customer service, they quite literally saved our vacation. If you ever find yourself in need of an honest, hardworking mechanic, this is the place to go!
Absolutely amazing! Al and his team were quick and got my car done ASAP. They even offered to pick up my car for me (a service they don’t offer) because I was scared to drive it) since I was not far and I couldn’t thank them enough. I have some more stuff I need to get done on my car and I already told Al I’ll be there next week. Superb service and like the other reviews say, they don’t overcharge and they don’t find random issues like other places. 10/10.
This place is expensive and untrustworthy. They charged me $95 for checking my car over. They gave me an estimate of issues totaling $800. I took my car to another mechanic for a 2nd opinion. That 2nd mechanic charged me $40 for checking my car over and did not find any of those problems. My car is fine and does not need $800 worth of work.
You can trust this place to NOT overcharge you! I’m from Baltimore and my sons car broke down over at UMES. I was referred to this place by a local and Mr. Al and his team didn’t disappoint!! They got the J O B done! For less than neighboring auto shops. Thanks Al
Got me out of a jam on Saturday morning. Dropped what they were doing and repaired my tire that had picked up a screw and was going flat so I could finish my 200 mile drive back home from vacation. Could have been a real hassle with the car loaded with vacation stuff. Let my wife stay in the air conditioned car while they jacked up the car in their parking lot, repaired the tire, checked all the pressures, and got me on my way in 30 minutes. Nice bunch of hard working gentlemen. Couldn’t have imagined a better outcome.
On my drive from MA to NC, my wheel bearing went CRUNCH. J a C Auto were my lifeline and they got me fixed and back on the road in a few hours. Great service, staff, and price!
