My car needed a battery. After a jump took it to Chester River Automotive and they took it in immediately, gave me a discount for the old battery warranty and I left in 15 minutes with a car that runs. Thank you for your attention and immediate service.

Chester River has done a great job taking care of my car! Their work is excellent and I really appreciate how honest and transparent every one of their staff has been. They take the time to explain what’s going on, give fair estimates, and have never tried to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. It’s clear they really care about their customers and the quality of their work.

What a great experience with Brandon here. I had a mechanical breakdown on a new truck while visiting the shore for a wedding. Brandon knew I needed to be on the road back cross country, and did everything he could to make sure I was taken care of. Texted/called me each step of the way and was pleasantly surprised how fast and communicative he was. Would highly recommend. Ironically I had dinner with some friends who only take their cars here as well. 5 stars!

MY VAN BLEW A SPARK PLUG OUT OF THE ENGINE. WE LIMPED OUR WAY TO CHESTER RIVER AUTOMOTIVE FROM THE BAY BRIDGE. BRANDON WAS EXTREMELY HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL. HE HAD ME BACK ON THE ROAD IN MINUTES! VERY EASY ON THE POCKETS TOO!

I had an oil change done and needed four new tires. The cost was what I expected and the communication was great. This is my new go to, as I was going to the dealership in Annapolis.

They do not over charge for their work, have expertise in servicing any make or model, and have always met their projected repair completion times. The guys took the time needed to find a fix my turbo sensor issues. I have used them before for oil changes and such and have been very pleased

Excellent service as always from John, Brandon and the guys. These folk know their mechanics and apply it to your autos so you are free of worry. As a follow up 2yrs later; continue to bring all my vehicles to these trustworthy guys. John, Brandon and guys still give great work at reasonable prices.

Really great mechanics and prices. I specifically asked them not to move my seat or steering wheel and they did not! I will absolutely go back again the next time I need service on my car.

I highly recommend Chester River for all your automobile repairs. My Son, Daughter and Son n Law also get all their repairs done here as well. Incredibly Honest, Fast and Friendly besides actually fixing the repairs and not with band-aids 😊 As we have continued to have some pretty major repairs just lately. 25 year old Conversion Van NOT ONCE have we had to quote be more than the quotation. Brandon is so incredibly nice to work with knowing we use this van with low mileage for its years to travel with my Grandbabies on long 8 hour trips 5, 4 and 4 months old. It means everything to me that they take that responsibility to insure I will make it safely...when they put our engine under pressure overnight to help us decide was a rebuilt transmission worth it was just that extra step that they listen and care...this kind of shop CAN NOT go unnoticed! Very professional and courteous shop. My truck needed complete front brakes replacement. They explained everything and showed me photo of the damage. I found them trustworthy and reliable.

My wife and I drove down from CT for our friend’s son’s wedding. The night we arrived our tire light went on. Next morning the tire was very low. We had to get the tire fixed or replaced as we were heading to FL the next day. We called several tire/automotive repair shops but none could take care of the car that day. Chester River Automotive said to bring the car over and they’d fit us in. The owner said he does not like to hear people in distress and was so accommodating. We drove the car over and they took the car into the shop as a customer could not make their scheduled appointment. Tired was fixed and our worries were over! I would highly recommend them to anyone. You don’t find many businesses like this anymore. Thanks again as we made our trip to FL safely. 👍👍👍👍👍

I have been using Chester River Auto for 4 years now. I am picky when it comes to my cars and value a great mechanic who is looking out for the customer. These guys are great and take great care of our cars. John, the owner is a pleasure to deal with. I will continue go back to this shop.

The mechanics there are really nice people. I like how they inspect your car first and then call and tell you what's wrong exactly. Very excellent work from them and I'm always satisfied.

They are the only automotive repair shop I trust with my vehicles. Not only my cars and the truck, but they also overhauled my boat trailer and did the Maryland State Inspection. As always, quality work and fantastic service! I had new tires installed and was concerned my brakes may need to be replaced. I was pleasantly surprised when I was notified that my brakes looked great a did not need replacing. Thanks again to the Chester River Automotive Team!

The team there does great work at very good price. They’ve worked on my 2 Lexus and my Dodge 2500. Fluids, brake/suspension, A/C. All work done without delays without any follow up calls

I tired this place when the normal place I take my vehicle had a week wait. I called Chester, they got me in the next day and my car was back on the road the following day. Since then I have taken different vehicles to them with wide range of problems. They have been up front with prices and kept me in the loop when they were diagnosing problems, so that the price dosent get out of control. They are always nice on the phones and upfront with cost and no surprises at the end. They provide fantastic customer service and they have one of the best turn around times on automotive repairs. I will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone who needs automotive repairs.

John runs a fantastic business. All Repairs needed are discussed and if options are available and photos are taken of what’s needed. John will text photos to you so you have a better idea of what is being done ablnd why. There are no surprises and the bill for the work done is fair. Over the years, John has serviced about 10 cars from my family.

We were visiting from Wisconsin. On the way out to Maryland my brakes smelt like they were burning. Called and was able to drop my car off the same day. They called me the next morning to tell me what they found. They were very helpful, friendly, and understanding. Quick service and knowledgeable. Was able to get my car back to me before we left for Virginia. I can’t thank them enough!

Yesterday October 11, our car, Ford Focus suddenly broke down & engine completely stopped. We were traveling from CT to DC. and we are so anxious, desperate for help. John, came promptly, very helpful and accommodating. He called a towing company then checked the car found out it’s the transmission module that’s causing it. He also found out that it was a ford recall. So he recommend us to a Ford service center to get it fixed w/out the charge and possibility of getting a refund from towing. He did not even charge us for a service fee checking the car out considering it was raining that day. Me and my husband are very thankful for what you did, thank you for going above and beyond helping us. We may not able to repay you, but surely God is looking upon and saw everything you did. More power to your business.
