My worst experience ever as a Lady Mechanic. I was treated like I was a waste of their precious time. I asked the red shirt guy if they sold flex pipe...I got the standard trifling employee reply, " if you dont see it we aint got it". On the way out I decided to ask the gray shirt older dude who was pretending to be reading, if he could search which store had it. His sigh indicated to me that possibly, I was an interruption of his day. He clicked a few buttons and said "it aint in our system. I went to my car googled it and found that indeed the store had it in stock. I went back in the store a 3rd man with dreads greeted me and ask "may I Help you". Feeling relieved t I showed him the Sku and he pulled it off the shelf. He even went to the shelf and retreived brackets for me. I decided on my own to get some additional extentions and brackets. At this time they are all engaging male customers, I waited my turn which left me to deal with left to deal with the gray shirt who by now is obviously atitudinal because I am now purchasing the product that he and the red shirt claimed they didnt have. I asked if he was the manager...he responded "one of em" I said "I wish yall would be more tolerant with Ladies. Got my receipt and left. From now on I will stick with the stores that have women employees out front.
Thank God for this AutoZone! Out of every one in a 10 mile radius, they were the only ones to have manual transmission fluid I needed! Keep them in business and around because it feels good to actually have the resources needed for your vehicle without a hassle.
I’m trying to buy for the stuff. Probably about Three months, I buy something. I’m always funny. I had a stroke 13 Years. So it’s close so bye for something because I can trust I thought.
So I said , I need to refill, lol. That’s two second and I’m done.. He said, what’s the model? When I had a stroke, it’s better for the numbers my phone. They had account. So he know I need something. He said, “ You’re playing I don’t have time!. So he don’t serve me. That’s fine. I will take that it’s a bad day and it’s no problem.
But the problem is it’s a lot of people. But he talking for me, said I playing games. And then he cussed. I said, “Be quiet”. I’m not sure why he’s angry but he is. Then he tried to push the cart. That is assaulted. I don’t care I can talk. I never loud. I’m trying to pay for whatever.
The manager, he did this discount. We talk to you secure and I say I need the video. The manager (Derek J) said they don’t have the video. We’ll talked for secure and they have the video.
David Thomas, it’s not good. I don’t care I can laugh. The balance is your right or wrong! And it was way wrong!!! I can do Police and arrested. I’m going talk for corporate tomorrow, but I’m not happy at all.
Today I visited Autozone located in Seat Pleasant! I purchased a battery and as I was trying to figure out how I was going to install it myself, I was approached by an employee name David! He is definitely the truth this is not the first time he has helped me neither. He always goes over and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied. The world needs more people like him. Thank you so much!!!!
Clean stores friendly staff very helpful with the 411 for my parts! I had an issue with my battery, or so I thought took it back to Minnesota ave location and they charged it up no hassle, no attitude, even the security was nice bless her heart (considering what she has to deal with in that area) either way battery got installed next day problem again, I go to Martin Luther King highway seat pleasant location, they ran a diagnostics found my problem not the battery! AutoZone for life!!!
When I asked for assistance on a product. The worker who helped was distracted by another customer and just left me unattended. When I went back in the store to purchase the item, the worker was still not available and the security guard was nice enough to show me where I fan use the self service machine.
There is a lady I met at 10: 55 am on Jan 12 2024 at this store. She is as rude as hell, disrespectful and doesn’t care to bring down the business. She snooped at me when I asked for a “power screw driver “ and jus pointed to a direction and I had to walk round the shop until the young guy who was at the store but was busy was free to attend to me.
They're understaffed, no one cares, and no one knows anything about vehicles in any way. They can't even be bothered to check you out and they let the line pile up at the self serve counter while they just watch and sit back.
This is my go to store from now on!! And only because of David!!! He is the best, he explains everything to you so you dont have any doubts. Explains the quality, value and warranty. Absolute best. Thanks David for your great customer service. Always friendly and with a smile.
I received great service at my latest visit to local auto zone. I was in the store for less than 60 seconds before I was greeted and received immediate assistance from Julius M. He explained my options and checked me out quickly. Very personable and prompt service!
The store is supposed to opens at 7:30am. The person who unlocked the got to the store at 7:25am. It would seem to me if you are making customers wait outside while you get the store together, you should get to work earlier!
It was 8pm on 4/10/22 and the store closed at 9pm and the person who was in the cashier was very rude at first. I asked them if they had hoses and they said no. Then I went to look for it by myself. and I found it and then i went to pay. I was already paying and I wanted to pay for a chocolate and he threw the money at me and didn't want to charge me for the chocolate having 1 more hour of work the manager needs to find more responsible people.
Guys working there are genius they’re very quick n so helpful n knows exactly what you need. I was surprised that even during winter times they’re willing to go outside to check exactly what you need in your car. May God Bless them.
I visited the Autozone store #5257 on Martin Luther King Highway, Seat Pleasant, on yesterday and had the most great and helpful experience I've ever had at any Autozone. Assistant manager, David James, proactively asked me if I needed help. I explained my dilemna of needing the correct headlight bulbs after visiting another Autozone that sold me the incorrect one. Mr. James examined the bulbs I had previously purchased and went to my car and got under the hood!!! He explained what I had and also what I needed. He was courteous, helpful, and treated me like I was the only customer in the store. I am now a faithful customer. Thank you, Mr. James.
After a long 2 days of trying to get a alternator tested at different stores in the area I walk into the Mlk store and was given great customer service By Dave he was patient and knowledgeable and made sure I got all the answers I need. This will now be my go to location. Thanks again Dave
The clerk found the windshield wiper i needed promptly and installed it without hesitation. I was traveling and really had not planned to need a repair that morning. I appreciated the help without attitude. Thanks
The supervisor of this location offered horrible service and told a lie about putting oil on my truck. I previously purchased from this location and the gentleman that worked there helped me with the process. The supervisor acted as if she could not be bothered and was very nonchalant. This is the bad customer service you get when employees decide to make up the rules. I bet she never mentioned she would not be helpful in her job interview.
They need to replace employees or they are out of business. Very poor customer service. Shows attitude. Terrible experience. They don’t know the manner. Floor is messy. You need good luck to find something in there.
I brought a pulley wheel Tue got the box open to find a used wheel totally destroyed in the box.Ran back explained my situation and being they they had no more in stock refunded my MONEY ASAP!That customer service I can get behind.The security guard there is even anti conflict. It's the PLACE to visit the customer quality is exquisite.Bloved ADJUST HEARD it here first ALL lives matter we must start with our own.And frequent the PLACES that treat us with the respect and dignity we deserve.Any establishments that can get down with that DON'T deserve our time nor MONEY spend wise love all yah
Dave! Needs a raise!! This man gave me the best customer service I have ever gotten from an auto zone. He is a great teacher and employee. He went step by step teaching another employee how to Put in a car battery. He was very helpful. Will be only coming to this location from now on.
I had a one on one discussion with District (Manager) Mark Evans who was a great help. This guy is very hands on, and willing to do whatever it takes to appease the customer. Regardless what the competition is offering I'm definitely going to this company and whatever location is convenient!
Will never go to this store again, first they sell me a part that was supposed to be transferred from another store and delivered to their location by 2pm, I returned to pick up part clerk states store does not get parts delivered on Sundays. Part should be in first thing Monday morning, called Monday at 10a.m. was told part was in. After getting off work at 6pm arrived at store no one could locate part I ordered after being told part was in, then clerk act as if it wasn't a problem and stated I dont know what to tell you. Received refund and will never use this location ever again, customer service is very poor....
They told me my part will be delivered around 2pm. I called they left me on hold. I had to go there and they said my pet will be here tomorrow. I would went somewhere else if the would have told me that this morning. Then they think it's a joke and trying to tell how there delivery go. Do not tell me tell me, tell your colleague who to me it will be here today. Train him I don't care I do work here I just want my dammm part. They all need to be trained on helping one customer at a time and if you are not working leave the front counter. I will not ever go back here.
Knowledgeable staff. They always seem to he short staffed at this location. They have one of the best mechanics in the area that provides freelance service at a fee, his name is Carl and he is not an auto zone employee. The staff seems to ask him questions whenever he's in there about all things related to vehicles. In the 5 years of using this branch they've always had the parts needed for my vehicles.
Would've rated them higher but the wait times can be rather long.
