No organization. Vehicles are not aligned by type, brand, wheel count, lug count, anything. If there's an open spot they put the next car/suv/truck in there. Asking for vehicles puts you on a goose chase to random corners of the lot with a sheet that doesn't show everything you're looking for. I needed parts for a gmt800 3500 so I asked for a print out of silverados, they gave a sheet of strictly silverado 1500s, then I asked for both gmt800 Silverados AND Sierras and they tried telling me they arent the same body style and hoods dont interchange and irrelevant stuff I knew going in. Next printout was silverados and Sierras but only regular cabs, so I came across some crew cabs in the lot that weren't listed. Realizing the paper was useless because it doesn't show everything I walked the whole lot to make sure I didn't pass over anything I needed. Unfortunately they didn't have anything I needed but this review isn't for a lack of parts, I understand people get there first, this review is for complete disorganization and wasted time
I haven’t even gone here, simply read the reviews. The fact that the guy can respond to reviews is weird in and of itself. Sounds like excuse after excuse and promises to be better next time. Grossed out just reading the reviews.
Rude customer service I don’t even write reviews but this junkyard would waste your time! If you go go 2 hours before close is you see it closing in a hour before you leave don’t even go they won’t let you in the yard! I get to the junkyard at 11:45 guy tells me I have 15mins after a lady already took my money to go on yard. I come back out after searching to get a price on a few items the rude guy was being rude again! But after I got my prices I went and price match on new parts ding near the same price but I needed the parts now so I was going back to get them the rude guy stops me and says no entry I’m like what you mean I paid my money he tells me no entry to yard after 12 I’m like my guy sign says closed at 1pm on Saturday he says yes but bout time you go out there and get what you need you won’t have time in my head I’m like you don’t know how fast I get things and how long that would take me it’s a whole hour! But I said nothing and left this place would screw you! 0/10 I don’t recommend. If I can give zero stars I would
I had a great experience at this junkyard. I own a 1997 Ford Ranger and managed to score an OEM header panel and radio both in surprisingly good condition once cleaned up. Their inventory seems well-kept, and the staff was awesome. Bonus points for offering a military discount it’s always appreciated when businesses support service members. Definitely worth a visit.
I see a lot of reviews where people can't find what they want and so they give a one-star. Is that really accurate or fair? As far as I'm concerned, the stars should reflect your experience. There have been many times I've gone and not found what I wanted, but my experience has always been positive because I've worked with the staff to try and find what I need, starting with calling ahead and making sure they have the part.
Any true Pick-A-Part customer knows it's a dirty messy job that's part of the fun.
With no disrespect, if that's not good for you, please don't come.

Absolutely terrible all they do is take the parts that everybody needs and just keep them to themselves and try to sell it to you like all you leave is just a chassis of the car and some pointless parts like a junkyard is meant to be you pick your part then take it and pay and that’s end of story but now you have to go through a catalogue of the parts they pulled already at that point it’s a used parts store instead of a junkyard take some notes from lkq appreciate your time
glad i called ahead of time, asked for pricing on a rim for my 2022 corolla le, just one rim and i was told 200$, for one rim. Now maybe it was some miscommunication, i will always give the benefit of the doubt. def don't waste time with this spot, reviews are accurate.
As a pull your own parts place I would not go again since it’s far for me and didn’t find anything I needed. I noticed a lot of the vehicles were stripped meaning they had very little parts left. I can’t comment on the other way they sell parts where they pull the part out for you since I’ve never bought parts from them.
I went to this place to look for a Power Steering Reservoir according to me going to the junkyard it was going to be cheaper for not paying $20 at auto zone or wait almost a week and order it for $12.99 on Amazon. If new it costs less than $20 here at the junkyard it could cost about $5 or less according to my calculations and surprise when I entered this horrible place they charged me $4 just for entry and it took me almost an hour to find the vehicle because the supposed list they give you is not real, I found the old and dirty part with my own risk that it will NOT work and when I went to pay they wanted to charge me $25 + taxes and I told the guy that on Amazon it was worth $12.99 how was it possible that he was charging me more and he very rude attitude told me that they did not compete on prices with any other store. Do not waste your time going to this place it is better to buy new and cheaper things.
Horrible customer service. Rude attitude. Says on the sign that we have until 4:40 to use the yard, but they running people out at 4:00 on a Friday because they trying to leave for the day. No respect for peoples time. They have signage that explicitly says yard closes 20 min prior to close of shop. Take down the signs if you aren’t going to abide by what you say. This is a horrible practice for a place of business to not respect and honor what they say. Period!
This place is great! There are a lot of cars!! Although, the clerk will guide you, it is still a little difficult to find the car you’re looking for-there are no signs. So be prepared to look around. I would recommend that you buy the insurance. It’s just a few dollars more and if the part doesn’t work, you can return it. The people are very friendly and nice.

It used to be my go to place, but I’ll drive the extra 40 miles to go to another yard. There is no organization to the placement of cars(Ford trucks next to Nissan cars next to Kia suvs), and everything has been so picked over, there are NO useful parts on anything in the yard.
I went in today for a front bumper support cover. I found but unfortunately it didn't fit my car ! I took IT back in for a REFUND but they told ME returns aren't allow !!! BAD BUSSINES DON'T GO THERE PLEASE!!!
Came into town from Indiana for Honda Day, and one of our cars was having issues at the hotel. Called around 3:45, confirmed they had some cars in the yard we could have used parts for. Asked what time they closed to confirm, Google says 4:30, guy I spoke to on the phone said 5 o’clock. Immediately jumped in the car, 15 minutes from our hotel in La Plata but took 30 minutes with traffic at the time. Upon arrival around 4:15 the woman that greeted us said entry to the yard stops an hour before close. I mentioned we were from out of town and needed to fix a car before tomorrow morning, and asked why that part was not mentioned when I called or even stated online anywhere and lady became irrate with no clear explanation before being silenced by a guy just getting off the phone. We would’ve been in and out in 10-15 minutes max. Not even the yards from where we’re from have a rule like that, they have an intercom and give you a warning of closing 30 minutes to close, then again at 15 minutes to close. Very unprofessional and uncaring customer service.
Called, asking to purchase a large quantity (>100) camshafts, various makes and models. Asked if they could help me. Response: "Not at all". Hmm. As a business selling used auto parts, I would think maybe they'd be interested in making a sale like that? Strange.
Called previously before arrival to make sure they had the part and the price was correct they said yes part $30 and they had several on the lot on arrival they said they didn't have the part and that it was $225 for that I could buy it new first and last time I'll go there wish I could leave no star
Pull-it prices too high for your effort.
If you're looking for headlights or taillights, you're probably better off looking on ebay. If you come here, the parts they pull cost more than what you'll find on ebay and if you pull-it, the price will almost be as low as what you find on ebay...oh yeah, pulled parts are sold as-is. You'll find your part cheaper, cleaner, tested, and with ebay's guarantee.
I visited the Fort Washington location this morning (6/29) and purchased sunvisors for five dollars apiece went to Brandywine an hour later to find the same sunvisor and they wanted to charge me $20 a piece! Pricing is not standardized and feels like a rip off. Needless to say I did not purchase it, highly disappointed. I will not return.
Seems like a very big scam saying on there website it says a bucket seats cost 20 and 30 if they’re electric yet at the brandywine location the only location that has anything not completely picked off they want 250 per seat for used parts that may or may not be in there. That’s quite a difference. 250 for a bucket seat from cars that are over 15 years old crazy
The female at the checkout/ checkin counter severely overcharged me for a fender and bumper. The website states on the parts price list that a fender is $35 and a bumper is $50. I was charged $180. I could have purchased new parts for that price. She also failed to give me an itemized receipt stating what I purchased and how much each item cost.I would like some retribution when I return as I am a loyal customer. 6.3.2019. I hope that the powers that be reads this review. Be careful and always cross reference Brandywine's parts process list when pulling your parts and paying for them. The lady at the counter needs retraining.
Went there and were told that the U Pull it no longer exists. Large Signs for u pull it are still on the side of the building multiple times and on the inside too. Website has no mention of this and cars were put in the inventory as of 4 days before this review.

Recently jacked up the prices, I got ripped off few weeks ago, I pulled two tail lights and fuel pump for 07 Camry and they charged me $170.
Double the price of new parts,
I asked the reason for that high price the guy told me now it is different management and price goes by make and model of the vehicles,
I will never go there again and will not recommend to anyone.
Buyer Beware ....I called Brandywine to look for a Tail Gate for a Dodge truck, They were a bit quick on the phone and asked me to call back the next day so I assumed they were busy. I call the next day and they have what I am looking for and the price was good so I pay for it and give them my shipping address. A week later the item is still not at my home and my card had been charged so I call them and they say it did not ship yet because they wanted to show me pictures ( They should have reached out to tell me this ) I figure fair enough and they say they are sending them now ( 11:00 Am ) no pictures come so I call back every 2 hrs and they swear they are going to send them. At 5:30 PM I call back and ask them to cancel my order which they did but got angry and hung up on me. The next day I went and picked one up much closer to me and cheaper. I did not read the reviews about this place until after I placed my order which was my mistake.
Awesome selection and some of the cheapest prices around. They add new cars very frequently and have great sales on holidays (a big percentage off, $75 flat rate for a wheelbarrow full of stuff, etc.)
Brandywine owns several junkyards in the area, they are all not run the same. On my way home from another Brandywine yard that totally wasted my time telling me they had something that they didn't, I stopped by this site, just in case. Just the little details indicated to me this yard was run much better. They were very professional, checked their inventory immediately and was able to tell me they did not have what I was looking for. In the future if they have what I'm looking for, I would not hesitate to go to this Brandywine location!
Went looking for parts for three different vehicles with my son and brother. The staff was friend and offered accurate locations for each vehicle we were looking for. Didn't take us very long to get what we came for. It was pretty neat and organized for a junk yard. Prices for places very cheap only have to pay $2 for entrance fee.
Of the four self-service salvage yards within an hour of Alexandria, this one probably has the best yard layout and the prices are very good. The cars are generally on flat ground with decent spacing, unlike some of the yards that are on rocky hills. They also have a decent inventory selection and the people who work here are polite and friendly.
