I was shocked to have such a painless experience at this location. the drive on the way there was beautiful. the clerk who helped me was helpful and informative as well. my entire experience was hassle free and peaceful. and fast too . this place runs like a well oiled machine
In my experience, IAA in Brandywine is the top auction spot in the DMV area for selling cars. The staff’s reception is outstanding—special thanks to Beth! I’ve been doing business with them for the past five years and couldn’t be happier.
The managment in this location sucks. The supervisor lady behaves very rude and irresponsibly. She charged me $75.00 extra without any reason.
Every other IAA location charge $100 for runs / 4 times sale. If not sold, you just have to pick up your vehicle and pay $100. This location charged me $175.00. I spoke with the Bravh manager and she behaved like a dictator queen and spoke very irresponsibly. Looks like this location is taking advantage from people .
Insurance Auto Auctions Metro DC is one of the largest auctions in Maryland. The customer service is outstanding and I was able to conduct my business in less than ten minutes. Keep up the excellent work.
They are the best, I was there to pick up a car there was the fastest ever, no appoiment needed, no comparation with any copart that you have to set up an appointment and even then they make wait for like 2 hours some time
Poor saftey measures , kiss your family goodbye before going there as you may get struck by a reckless speeding fork left. Also don't buy cars under (run and drive) as most of them they don't, engine knocking and bad transmission common issues to them it run and drive

I purchased a vehicle at this location which had damage only to the front of the vehicle, Rear was in perfect conditions. When I picked it up the Person who lifted the vehicle did it uncorrectly and damaged the Rear end of the vehicle. Poking two huge holes on the trunk and leaving the Tail lights shattered. This cost me extra money to get fixed. They need better operators/Drivers.
Worst branch at IAA.they advertise the vehicle run and drive went there to pick up the vehicle it won’t even start went back at office asked if they can take back to lot until I get my tow truck they asked money for re storage about $60 then asked $20 more then said the total is $90 for re storage their behavior is worse.and it’s not the first time the sell vehicle with hold title and it takes more than 6 months to get the title from them. Don’t recommend to buy vehicles from this branch at all.
It seems like They’re afraid of answering the phone anytime you get transferred no one answers. The absolute worst service, going back and forth for about 6 hours and every time you call they don’t answer unless you call again and again. The supervisor Kathy is rude condescending, unprofessional, uneducated, had to repeat everything, for both her and an agent named Barb like they were first graders. Get people to work that are not afraid to answer the phone and offer REAL solutions. Inexcusable behavior the most unprofessional experience I have ever had dealing with real people. A child could offer better service.
The two girls at the front desk are too rude and unprofessional.they wanna look pretty and rude than to work.i don't think this is their field of work.
Very bad customer service I had to drive all the way from Chicago to pick up the car I got at the place at 4:40pm what normal Bussines hours are to 5 pm and they said they doesn’t have the tractor on site bc everyone is leaving at 4:30 , I have been asked nicely so they can help me out . They even didn’t care they said we stop at 4:30 . At 4:50 they asked me to step outside bc they have to close the door ! I’ll send an nice email to the corporate office about this facility how they doing their job definitely. I had to drive back to Chicago in the same night I had just one car to pick up.
Buyer beware. DO NOT BUY ANY CAR FROM THIS LOCATION. Waiting on a title since July. They won’t buy it back and have no clue when the title will come. They also damage cars while waiting for sale.
I bought a Toyota Camry 2008 with the stock number referenced on the subject line above on the 14th of May 2020 with information listed online as R&D keyfob present, mileage 183,509 miles I paid $2818 for the car and the car was brought out only to find out there was no key fob. I went to the front office to complain and I was told to wait form them to look for the keyless keyfob, later I was told there was nothing they can do about it sorry, then I was told to once they find the key they will call me so I dropped the title and left 3 hr of my time was wasted. I got a call from IAA metro DC location that they have found the key to come pick my car I went there to pick my car I waited for another 2:45 min to get the car.
Saddest part was the misinformation confusion and fraudulent information about the car. IAA metroDC told us the the car has a mileage of 183509 only to find out that the car has a mileage of 233,000+ miles. If we have the opportunity to go onsite to look at the car I will see the mileage and will never buy the car at that price, but because it's an online auction it easy to trick people/us about the true information of any item. This has definitely caused me more loss than expected if I know the true mileage was 233,000 miles plus I will not buy the car less than $1500 or less.
Please I will appreciate if this issue is addressed appropriately and compensated as needed. Thank you for your cooperation.
My car was towed here after an accident to be virtually inspected by the ins company. When I went to pick up the items that were in my car since it was later deemed a total loss, I noticed a few items were missing. Because of the amount of time I waited to be helped, and I was injured in the accident the person bringing me here had to leave but I realized I was missing 3 things from out of my car. I called later to inquire if someone had removed items out of my car and maybe put them inside a lost or found. I was initially told that they removed the items and put them either in the backseat or the trunk, when I told the lady on the phone my items were not in the car and I have already picked all my items up. She got an attitude with me and didn’t want to speak/help me with retrieving my STOLEN items. Absolutely the worst customer service, very cold uncaring and rude. I have since filed a police report against this place but I really wish my car was never towed here.

my car was towed here and when i came to pick up my things they told me to wait on the side as my they’ll pull up my car to me to get my stuff. It’s been two hours and counting still waiting. don’t come here if you don’t have to.
Awful customer service. Rude & unprofessional staff. Very unfriendly environment over all. The office won’t help at all with something that was their fault. Avoiding this location for the future needs.
The process is much faster, smoother and efficient now that they've switched over to using tablets for the loaders. The whole crew here, including the office staff are always really chill and helpful.
The Honda I've bought needed a new transmission. They gave me a full refund plus helped me with a refund from the state after registration. I have now another car from them with no problems. I will update if anything changes which we will come back for my friend to buy a car. I add some words about the Repokar car auction- great place and it is worth to visit them! Thanks
