This Autozone location is very racist & rude towards African American people, The Spanish females employees looked me in my face and preceded to walk pass me while I already been waiting in line for 15-20 minutes The store manager William, I believe I got the name from the front of the business, walked right pass me as well, very disrespectful no one said one second , how are you nothing. they waited for the black, employees to take me as if I had to wait on my own skin color for services this happens every time I come in this Takoma park location. The employee named Devon that’ did help me was the only helpful one & provided me a discount . I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING HERE , I WILL BE CONTACTING AUTOZONE HR. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

This was my second visit to the store this month. I needed a charge for my battery and was told they offer free battery charging. Fortunately Garti was eager to provide assistance with taking out my battery and charging it. Meanwhile another employee complained loudly in front of me, a female employee and other customers that he couldn’t believe I didn’t know how to take out a battery. This was unprofessional. If Garti hadn’t helped me I would probably never return to this store again- even though I pass it nearly everyday. Immediately after helping me he was manning the cash register and answering phones- in English and Spanish. Please give him a raise! He deserves it. Thank you.

Jacob Coleman helped me with a battery replacement last month, and I wanted to make sure his support didn’t go unnoticed. Jacob was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He explained everything clearly, went above and beyond to make sure I understood my options, and provided the kind of customer service that really reflects well on your store. It’s rare to meet someone who takes that much pride in their work, and he truly made a stressful situation easy. I hope you’ll recognize him. He’s an asset to your team and definitely someone with leadership potential.

Came in close to closing time for a part of a battery terminal replacement. Lawrence was very professional, helped me find both items I needed and even made sure the Terminal Ring would fit on my battery terminal. Promote above peers! Alexander checked me out and was also polite and professional.

My car died at the store and I was in need of a battery that was at another store. Because of my disability it’s hard to move around and I was going to have to catch the bus. William provided a solution that by chance one of his drivers Alex was at that store and brought the battery with him. Now thats customer service and I thank them for going above and beyond for me.

We needed a new brake light and wind shield wipers. Even though this shop was a few minutes further away, the reviews were superior, so I took our car there. The manager who was working the cash register actually went outside and replaced the parts for us. He even carefully showed me how to replace the bulb for next time. He was so polite, professional and helpful.

I was there to return the wrong oil. Rosia, the representative, said, "Why buy stuff and then return it?" I said that I got the wrong oil. And I don’t think this is aprópiate to say to a customer who is spending money there, not appreciated. I need the manager to follow up with her and I need to be informed about it.

Girl answering the phone sounded so high like I could barely understand her words were slurring so much, I asked about a part being in stock she told me she would put me on hold to go check, has me waiting on hold for a while I hear the manager training her and she hangs up the phone. I call back and she hears it’s me and says “oh it’s not in stock” you don’t just hang up if you don’t have it in stock I was sitting on hold waiting and you hang up because your too high to function and respond on phone calls it’s insane

It has very bad, very bad customer service. I went to buy some spare parts and they gave me the wrong ones, because they did not bother to know what type of car the spare parts were, and I still showed them the registration and when I returned the spare parts because they were bad, the person who assisted me again got angry because I did not want to receive them again or exchange them. So they have bad service. And that was in two stores at this one and the one at 6875 New Hampshire Ave. Takoma Park, both of which I went to and the same thing happened. I don't recommend them. They don't deserve a star

Went in to buy windshield wipers. They didn’t even move when I walked in and barely assisted. The guy told me where the wipers were and walked away. I decided not to make a purchase at this location and left the store. 800+ credit score and own a million dollar home but they judged me cuz I’m black. Had I been a white man, they would have been all over the sale. Don’t recommend this location at all.

Like most Autozones in Silver Spring area they waste your time and gas money. Never have what they say they have online. Even when they say they have it on the phone they are too lazy to actually check and will tell you they have it and they dont. Never shopping here again. Will just order online. Better price and product.

I went to this store a4 days ago ordered a part the sale associate told me it will be here Monday.i came back he did not even ordered the parts and my manager on duty today 01/16/2024 at 13:00 was very rude and unprofessional to help get the parts and I told him if I order now when will the item will be here he told me week which was not true I went to different auto zone they ordered it for me and said it will be here tomorrow really appreciate this store University boulevard you gays is the best thank you

Great experience at this location with AutoZone's free fix finder service for a check engine light. Alex C. was so friendly and helpful, despite the cold weather. In addition to printing the report, he explained the findings step-by-step. I really appreciated his positive attitude and also his sense of humor... he cracked a joke that I should have it framed since it was the best service report he'd ever seen for a check engine light. I'm going to consider this my go-to spot for my car needs.

I initially went to NTB yesterday for new windshield wipers because the ones I got from the dealer less than 18 months ago were leaving streaks, but NTB didn't have the sizes I needed. The guy at NTB was nice enough to tell me to go to Advance Auto a few blocks away for wipers that cost less than the ones at NTB, so off I went but they didn't have one of the sizes I needed so I did a Google search and found this Auto Zone where they had what I needed for less than Advance Auto and NTB, and the young man at the register even gave me a first responders discount!! Plus he was nice enough to come out and put the new wipers on my car while showing me how to do it myself. He also mentioned that my old wipers were still in good condition as evidenced by no rips or "flaps" in the rubber blades and he encouraged me to keep them as backup wipers which I did. He also said the reason there were streaks on my windshield with my old wipers is because they needed to be cleaned and my windshield waxed, which no one ever told me before! I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and tutorial I received from this young man yesterday and will go here from now on for all my car maintenance needs!

John (Ballou) I think, was really clutch and friendly!! Tested my battery, found me the right one, and installed it within 20 minutes on a hot day, and at the end of his shift!! I won’t be going back to the other auto parts store ever again after the great service I received here. Store was clean and everyone was friendly and had people in and out!!!

I was served by a young Hispanic gentleman by the name Jeffers or Jeffrey around noon of last Thursday 9th of June . He is the most courteous gentleman I’ve ever come across especially in this day and age. Very polite, gentle and very very respectful…..

That was a good day for. I went to this store not knowing exactly the exact item I have to buy for my and the customer service was fast and great. Particularly the team member name Magdaline was very helpful. If I have to make a recommendation to an employer, I will definitely introduce that lady.

As much as I like this store and the staff in general, I have had the occasional bad experience. Most recently, I bought a battery jumpstarter and noticed that the box was open. I asked the woman if it had been used and she assured me that no, the box had probably just been opened to look at the unit. However, when I got home I found that the unit was almost fully charged, indicating that it had indeed been used at least once, there were small scratches, and the auxilliary adapter pins were missing. Unfortunately, I had to leave on a trip almost immediately so I didn't have time to bring it back - it did work, after all - but it just left kind of a bad taste. Other than that, I have visited this store dozens of times and have always been satisfied with the availability of products, the prices, and the service.

Extremely clean. The staff didn't greet me when I came in nor did they come into the aisle to see if I needed help. But was very nice and well mannered at the register.

I had a fantastic experience here, after visiting several auto parts stores over the last few days and getting terrible service. John and Dane were rock stars!!!! I was greeted with a friendly welcome as arrived late in the evening. The store was clean, organized, and brightly lit. But most importantly, they helped me test my alternator, and gave me the test results so I could review them myself, and then helped me get a replacement part. They were competent, helpful, friendly, and a joy to visit with while they ran the test. THANK YOU BOTH for helping me and this store will be my go to from now on!!!
