I had a great experience at this location, I needed to find out why my tire kept loosing air and I did. The service writer, Justin, handled their busy schedule very well and was extremely professional. I don't remember the tech's name but he was a younger guy, he performed everything necessary to get me back on the road for my long trip today, and he did so with a professional and courteous manner. Thanks Firestone and employees at the hickory MD location, I truly enjoyed my experience.
Assessments were done quickly given the appointment had only been made the day before work was done on the vehicle. The work and price of said work was told upfront before the keys were exchanged and the Service Advisor was very easy going and made the experience better than just a transaction. Along with the discount for card application being a very helpful benefit for the price.
They are always good to me, keep me updated, honest, and don't treat me like "a woman that doesn't know anything" (most women have experienced this at some point at an auto repair shop). I will always recommend them!
Justin was lovely to deal with- he was straight forward with me about what the shop was able to do today, and didn't charge me for work I didn't need. He was kind, honest, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will be bringing my vehicle back to this location for brakes next.
I had a great experience at Firestone! After running over a pothole, my underguard was flapping and I stopped by to get it checked. Justin was so nice and took care of the issue super quickly. Excellent customer service and fast work—I really appreciated the help!
I had an amazing experience at Firestone getting my tires replaced and an oil change — all thanks to Justin. From the moment we started talking, he immediately understood what I needed: just the basics, done right, with no unnecessary extras. On top of that, he was genuinely personable and easy to talk to.
He got me in and out quickly and efficiently, with zero stress, pressure, or frustration. What I appreciated most was that he didn’t try to upsell me or overwhelm me with a laundry list of “urgent” fixes — something we’ve all dealt with at auto shops. Instead, Justin was transparent, respectful, and focused on what actually needed to be done.

Justin was amazingly helpful! He was nice enough to send me to the dealer to see if the issue was still under warranty. When I found out it wasn't, I brought the business back to him. He was honest about the work that needed to be done, completed the work at a much more fair price, and he and his team turned the work around quickly! Highly recommend letting them help you with your car care needs!

I usually dread getting any auto work done cause I don’t understand auto language that spoken there. But my experience with Firestone was great. Justin MaDigan was excellent with telling me what work needed to be done and kept me informed of the process as well as being patient, friendly and nice. I’ve given Firestone Complete Auto Care (on Hoagie Drive) two chances, and both were complete wastes of time.
1st attempt: I scheduled an appointment for an alignment. Gave them the year, make, and model of my truck (Ram 2500, completely stock). Dropped it off ahead of time. Three hours later, they called me just to say they can’t fit Ram 2500s on their alignment rack. Why even book the appointment if you can’t service the vehicle?
2nd attempt: Made an appointment for something simple—tire rotation and balance. I arrived at my 3:00pm appointment planning to wait, since this is normally a quick job (under an hour at any competent shop). The service rep told me it “might” be done by 7:00pm. Four hours for a tire rotation? Ridiculous.
This place is either poorly managed, understaffed, or just doesn’t value customers’ time. Either way, I won’t be back. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
Just picked up my car today and can’t say enough great things about this place! After trying to find someone to replace my tires we landed on Firestone. They are so accommodating and the sweetest people! Justin was able to help us out tremendously when they didn’t have the tires I wanted. Thank you so much!
Poor Mgmt of workload and Customer expectations: I made an appointment a day ahead in person (at the Hoagie Dr location) to have my car serviced (50K Mfg Warranty check-up, oil change and tire balance/rotation). I took the vehicle in as scheduled and was told they would have it back to me early afternoon. 5 hrs later I called the store to check on status and was told that I was next and I'd get a call back soon to give me the status of recommended service items. Two hours later I stopped in only to find that my vehicle had not been touched. The representative couldn't tell me if they would even get to it that day. When asked should I take my care elsewhere, they answered - "I would". Wow!
Best auto repair shop it town! The staff are very friendly and help wherever they can to get you the best price for repairs or new tires. They truly care about their customers here and I couldn't be more happy with my experience.
Trustworthy staff, Justin and Cameron were very helpful when helping me with my tire issues! They work with people on a budget and are open about your options. Down to earth people who just want you to be safe out there on the road. They are currently understaffed and try to get everyone in and out while giving quality service. Patience is key but worth the wait!
I recently had an oil change completed at the location on Hoagie Dr, Bel Air. Justin who checked me in went above and beyond to help me and was great to work with. Will, the tech was also great. It’s rare these days to have people go out of their way to help and Justin deserves to be commended for his customer service.

The staff (Justin) was professional, and I was back on the road in less than an hour. Really appreciated how smooth and hassle-free the experience was. I came in as a walk-in on a busy Friday afternoon and Justin was able to assist me with scheduling an appointment for first thing Saturday morning so I didn't have to wait around to be squeezed in. Saturday morning's crew was efficient and attentive and had my vehicle road ready again in less than an hour. Prices were competitive as well.
I've been using this Firestone for many years and they always do though and quality work and typically at a rate lower then the dealer. Lately though it seems service time has increased rather abruptly. Unless the work was rather complicated, as long as I got the car in early, i'd typically get it back the same day. But I've had back to back experiences where the replacement of a single part or a routine maintenance was taking a full work day and a half.
While I can still recommend the location for anything other then pressing cirumstances, and understand that times are rough: the wait times are becoming a problem. But one that can be fixed.

Brought in for alignment, rotation and rebalancing to address vibration at speed. Vibration issue is gone - effective fix. Professional phone contact, delivery within discussed timelines, and they actually called me when the vehicle was ready for pickup (amazing how many auto service shops can't seem to do this). Friendly staff, local, convenient.
Cameron was the first person I dealt with. He was happy to help me and gave me good information on the tires I had ordered. He even went above and beyond to run to another store to pick up tires because they mistakenly weren't in stock. There were no surprises in costs or services needed. Not once did I feel I was being misled or taken advantage of. It's hard to say that about chain automotive service centers lately. I'm glad I can say it about Forest Hill's Firestone. Went here recently to get new tires. The manager, Nick, was super helpful and understanding, and none of the staff tried to push any extra services onto me--just gave me what I needed and printed out a sheet of "recommended" services, and left it at that, which I appreciate. Definitely coming back here again.
I'm a DIY'er and this business is by far worlds apart from Mr. Tire and Pep Boys. Professional, prompt, and courteous service. Appointments are on time and service is excellent as well as quick. Honest automotive advice and fair pricing. Communication is excellent.
Wow what an amazing team of people. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I was 2 miles away with a flat and couldn't get my lug nut off my tire. Gus, the store manger drove to me with his tools and put my spare on so I could drive to his store. I called the store ahead of arrival and confirmed they had my tires. Seth was sure to go over all the options and discounts available. I'm very thankful to the staff for the kindness they showed me.
