I paid to have them instal my battery. When I got home , I looked at the battery. None of the terminals were cleaned off. ?? It seems like the employee was more interested in talking to his friend, then doing a good job.?
My garage door started beeping due to a dead rechargeable battery. Every other shop and hardware store would’ve needed to ship it in at least 3 days. Walked in this morning and Brian knew exactly which battery I needed and pulled it right off the shelf. He was super helpful and answered all my questions.
The customer service is horrible the guy was rude he cut me off while i was speaking didn't want to help. Overcharge like crazy for batteries and charging them lol. Not sure how they are in business to be honest learn to speak with customers with respect and actually want to help
I had used this location multiple times over the years to replace the battery in my car. For some reason most locations don't keep my size in stock, but Battery Warehouse was generally the exception.
This past time was remarkably different. I called in the morning to confirm my type of batter was in stock and that the store would be open until roughly 4:30pm (the owner wanted to close early because it was a Friday). Besides that, he would be there all day.
I arrived just after 1pm... the store was closed from 12-2pm ONLY on Fridays. This was not listed anywhere online and the owner did not state as much either on the phone when I called. So that was 45 minutes of drive time wasted.
I called again to confirm the owner was present later that day and he again said he would be there until close. I went directly over to purchase my battery after hanging up... the owner was out again. His sign indicated he would not be returning for another 30 minutes. I was not going to wait for the possibility to purchase a battery from a such a disrespectful individual.
He wasted my time on two round trips and the time of my friend who was driving me to replace the battery in my car. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON!!!
I later was able to purchase a replacement battery at a local AutoZone. The people there were friendly and confirmed that my car battery was indeed dead (internal leaking) and that I needed a replacement. Interestingly, it was the battery I had previously purchased from Battery Warehouse. It was barely over two years old. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! Automobile batteries should last longer.
Battery Warehouse in Bel Air is my go to for all battery needs! Brian has always been incredibly helpful over the years with helping me find what exactly what I need. Whether it be for just checking if my car battery is good, needing a car battery, motorcycle battery, or even small batteries for my dogs electric fence collar. I would not trust anyone else to steer me in the right direction.
The guy who works here is a miserable person who hates his life. He should either end it or change it. I hope to someday hear that he took his typical posture with the wrong person who straightens him out. The place is disgusting. It's not a store. It's a dimly lit garage that reeks of cigarette smoke, grease and filth. Price for my phone battery was quadruple that of Amazon. Overhead costs, blah blah. Nobody cares. Be competitive or go out of business. I'll rejoice when this location closes.
We have used Bryan with Battery Warehouse in Bel Air for all of our battery needs. Great product and even better service. He will always point you in the right direction.
Came in and was immediately helped by Jeff. Not only did Jeff test my battery but also my starter and alternator. Jeff was personable, helpful, and knowledgeable about car batteries. Thank you so much Jeff! So happy I came in and not only got my battery replaced but I got it for a great price!
Sales person was not very personable. Hopefully, the batteries I got work in my electric bike. Because the batteries can not be returned.

Great price, battery in stock (everything is out of stock these days), the guy was great, rtested the battery prior to the sale and installed it for my wife in the rain. It literally doesn't get any better than that!!
Aug 29-22 Wow, I have never been in a public place so bad as this! Came in from the outside on a bright sunny day into an walkway that had black batteries that were right next to your feet on the right and traffic cones on the left. I moved to the left side of the cones to feel a little safer with a clear place to stand and Mr. Gruff Beard notified me that I had just committed a felony by choosing to stand where I felt safe and told me to get to the other side of the cones. As I was standing there a customer was leaving and I backed up to a battery that was on the floor and almost thought I was going to go down, Just not a lot of "SAFE" space.
OSHA should visit! Maybe their insurance co. as well.
I go to BW as a first choice for what I need and this was the first time in this store "Benson". It is also my last time. I had several batteries I needed on this trip and after the sturn interaction I had, and the crazy price I was given for the first battery, I chose to leave and not to buy anything.

Horrible. Our local AT&T store told me this place would have a battery for my elderly mom’s flip phone. First, the place is a filthy garage. Second, they had barricades up with cones due to the pandemic and then took the phone from me wearing a greasy filthy rubber glove. The worker with the long bushy beard said in a flippant manner that he did not have a battery and that we would not be able to buy one anywhere so we should just buy a new phone (which costs $200) I took back the phone and went online to Amazon where they sell the original battery for less than $10. I bought 2. Will never go to this BW again ...for anything.
The store (if you can call it that) is disgusting and not inviting at all. Very rude employee and have seen this same complaint in many other reviews.
Go some place else if you can.
Been going there for years. It has reasonable prices, big inventory and parking. Online is cheaper if you can wait and can dispose of your current battery. Prettier places? Sure. It's a battery warehouse
The guy in the store was very rude and unprofessional . He walked out of a bar over to the store after he saw me parked in front of the store about to go in. He lit a cigarette in the store and smoked it during the entire interaction. No customer service skills whatsoever and very short with his answers if I really didn’t need the battery for my daughters phone that day I would’ve brought it else where for a cheaper price. But I highly advised against going here as it will not be pleasant if I would’ve given no stars if I could’ve very poor service!
The store had what I needed (a battery for a security system), however the single employee was somewhat rude and assertive. You may find a better deal online.
Looking for a battery for my lawn mower. Contacted the warehouse and their customer service is really terrible. I was trying to see if they have the battery what i need. When I asked question, the respond was very short, snappy and "bring the battery in, I need to see it". I'll rather order online my batteries and pay $30 for shipping than drive all the way there, find out that they don't have my batteries and interact with unfriendly people.
I happened to be shopping for a car battery on black friday. I go to battery warehouse where I pay $130 for a battery. My husband tells me that a a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a battery. Then I find out later that for black Friday battery warehouse was offering 25% off everything in the store but the guy in the store never offered it to me. Never even mentioned it. If you want to pay waaaay to much for a battery go to battery warehouse.
Have dealt with Battery Warehouse for well over 30 years and have never been disappointed. The location I frequent is in a warehouse/business location. So its shop doesn't look like much. But who cares I am not living there. They always made good on the warranty without any who struck John stories.
But most important are their prices. I just priced a new battery at NTB. The 72 month battery is $109. That is a little high in relation to Walmart but not all that bad. Was then hit with the shocker. Most places change about $10 for installation. NTB wanted half hour of labor at $105 an hour. And they complain about the fees doctors charge. Bottom line was about $170 installed.
BW was under $100. A great place for batteries. The only problem is if your battery goes dead while out of the Baltimore area. NTB is nation wide or has nationwide connections. The BW does not.
Gave it "0" for appeal due to the style of their business location, a dirty warehouse. Everything else is top notch.
