I believe they are changing names but good parts fair prices. The guys know what there looking at and what you need. There real car guys not like other stores
Salvos seems to have a staff who have a bit more knowledge than other auto stores. More experience working on vehicles helps make a better sales associate when selling auto parts in my opinion. Check them out next time you need something for your vehicle.
I just went in there and both men working were on their phones, neither really paying any attention that there's patrons shopping. I have a gift card that I was going to use to buy the windshield wipers, they just both exclaimed that they don't know how to do that, so the gift card, that's purpose is to be spent as it's value, so that you don't have to spend your money, was useless. Pardon me for having a slight attitude with the employee because he tried to explain that gift cards aren't common, but you guys sell them so.. train your employees on how to use them. Incompetence is not something you expect to see here, but I guess it's slim pickings in the labor pool. If you have a gift card I guess just shred it, they don't know how to use that.
These guys are real parts pro’s no if and or but’s straight to the part for the right price in stock and ready to go and heavy duty stuff way better than the original parts ! Thank you Salvo Auto Parts .
Walked out without purchasing anything. When I entered, the employees were talking loudly about how one of their coworkers had walked out early on his shift. I was trying to get fuses for my car and asked the person behind the counter to confirm if I had the right type. He told me he couldn't look it up for me. Any other auto parts store could easily help me with something so minor. They seemed more concerned with their own conversation than helping the only customer in the store. I'm never going back.
Friendly group of employees. I grew up going to Salvo. The store has certainly lowered their inventory of "stuff", but people don't work on their own car much anymore. That being said, they have always had what I need, so thanks!
Had all The parts I needed to do brakes and rotors all the way around my company vehicle in stock AND they gave me the correct parts!!! Never could I say the same about AutoZone or advanced auto. Salvo’s is where you go.
Salvo is a nice local alternative to the big name auto store chains. They always seem to have more knowledgeable staff when it comes to hands-on insights and advice. Prices are competitive, but its hard to beat the $ reward programs of the bigger stores.
Came fairly late to buy a battery on Thursday 7/21/21. The gentleman even installed it and was super helpful. Took all of 10/15 minutes to buy, have the old battery removed and installed the new battery. I am so thankful for the professional and friendly help. We only have one car and they went above and beyond in their help.

CHECK THE PRICES!!!!!!! Bought headlight bulbs and the advertised price at the aisle tag was a few dollars less than the price charged at the checkout. I like to support family owned businesses and a few cents wouldn't matter But a few dollars difference has pushed my business to a national chain. Sorry! The kid at the register was polite and friendly!
I've always liked these stores a lot. But, I went in to buy a replacement windshield shade. They didn't have the size I needed and what they did have, the selection was poor. This may be a result of the virus and how it's affected production. But, they usually top notch!
Adam at Salvo in Bel Air is a life saver. He was SO kind and knowledgeable. I'm a nurse and have to work tonight. My wiper blade broke. He came out to my car and looked at it because I have a baby who can't wear a mask inside the store. Then he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it. He went the extra mile and certainly did not have to. The world needs more kindness like Adam showed. Thanks Adam, I'll be loyal to Salvo in Bel Air from here out!
Needed a radiator and a piece of off-size cooling hose to finish a cooling system job. I asked the guys for help and they stuck with it until they found something that would work. I also like that they carry Amsoil oil. This seems to be the only place around that carries it.
Had leftover heroin included my purchase. Waited on hold for 8 minutes, spoke with Vicky and she said she would notify the store manager Doug. This location has always been a headache for me, from the unkempt and completely unorganized store, to actually putting myself in danger when I found vials thrown away in my item. Will be dropping off the vials at the police station and contacting corporate office.
Gave me the wrong part and when I went back to get the right one they tried to tell.me that was the right part so they could get the sale. When I just tryed to put it on and it didn't work at all. Over all the people that work there are nice
It was a very long time since my last visit to this store. The place looked old, bare shelves, low inventory and looked unkempt. I was the only person in the store, two guys were behind the counter talking and never looked at me so I left without asking if they had what I needed. Save yourself some time, there's lots of other places to buy whatever they stock somewhere else in Bel Air.
Good service not great, you can get better parts cheaper off the Internet. Still a Baltimore staple for car parts. If you need something in a pinch they probably will have it.
These guys were 2 minutes to closing when I walked in and they went over and above to help me locate my part. I apologized for coming in so late and the staff truly made me feel comfortable insisting they didn't mind and were happy to help. Thanks
