Bar Harbor RV Park and Marina in

We always love bringing our motorhome to this friendly and beautiful little park. Fine location and good utilities make your stay great. Close proximity to many shops, restaurants and attractions have kept us coming back. But the views are everything here, eagles and herons soar while we fish or crab off the docks right in front of our home away from home.

It was a relaxing weekend on the water. Thank you for providing such a great safe place to unwind! We plan on coming back soon.

Great RV park on the water. Lots to do in the area and shopping nearby. Nice bathrooms and showers.

My family and I have been camping here since 2006. We've never had a bad experience! Fishing is more successful in the autumn months, if that's your thing.

Excellent stay at the park! Everyone on staff that we interacted with was super lovely and made things very easy. Highly recommend a stay here!

Christian was very nice and accommodating at check-in. The location on the water was ideal. Overall nice campground. There are a lot of long-term campers there as well as rentals and an attached small apartment complex so it has that "rental" atmosphere to it.

This was our 6th time stay at Bar Harbor because we love it some much. It's so nice to stay right on the water and to fish from the back of your camper. The staff is always friendly and the bathrooms are kept clean.

This is a beautiful campground on a beautiful river. We had a riverside site which was perfect. Although sites are close together, we never felt the lack of space. Sites are blacktop with a cement pad and are level. Bathrooms/showers modern and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The French desk person Connor was excellent very pleasant unfortunately we could not get on Internet and there was extremely limited TV with our antenna. It was a pretty setting,

We were in our motorhome along with friends in their motorhome as well. We both had the waterfront sites. It was a beautiful campground. It was very quaint and the people were very nice. Friends came to visit us on Friday night. Then a friend picked us up on their boat and took us to The Island at Flying Point. It was so much fun. We will definitely go back. FYI, the high tide did come in and flood our site (C1) on Saturday morning and Sunday morning. However, we left Sunday morning at 10:00am prior to it flooding as much as Saturday morning. On Saturday it went back out by 1:00pm. We had such a great time there. Our friends that came on Friday night, are from the area (1/2 hour away) and they said they are going to come there to camp. They really enjoyed it as well. Thank you.

A Relaxing and Welcoming Stay – Will Definitely Return! This was my second stay at Bar Harbor RV Park, and once again, I had a very enjoyable experience. The campground is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more pleasant. Before arriving, I was advised that the area can experience flooding during rain, and sure enough, there was some flooding near my campsite after a rainy day. While that was the only downside, I really appreciated that the staff gave a heads-up in advance. It shows they care about transparency and helping guests prepare. The location itself is beautiful, but I did give it three stars only because of the flood-prone areas during bad weather. Otherwise, everything else – from the facilities to the atmosphere – deserves high marks. I plan to keep Bar Harbor RV Park in my regular rotation of campgrounds to visit each year. Looking forward to returning again!

Great camp and marina! We stayed in SW1 with our travel trailer and parked our boat at spot 12 at the dock. Wonderful camp store and staff! Wil definitely be back! Thank you Bar Harbour for a great week! Ladonna and Liam

Bar Harbor was one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had. The site was clean and overlooked the water and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Christian gave us a thorough overview of the seasonal sites information because we loved our experience here that much. Cannot recommend this place enough!

While the general location is fantastic and the views on the bay area stunning, some of the actual sites are terrible. Hoping to snag a spot in the shade we selected our spot and paid an additional fee to lock it in. When we got here 8 was shocked and very disappointed that they considered this an actual spot for an RV. It was totally an after thought and added in to get more spots. While many of the other sites are great be careful where you park. The pictures of the sites do not do it justice.

Very peaceful setting. Definitely could use some tlc, but we loved our stay. If you have a big boat, then be careful when you put it in the water. It is very shallow at the boat launch. At low tide it is probably 2ft deep MAX! At launch.

Colton was helpful. We booked one night and stayed 4. This was the nearest RV park to our parent’s house. The campsite was right on the water. They had ducks and geese to feed. We appreciated their flexibility and willingness to arrange an additional stay.

We stayed at Bar Harbor after our planned trip to OBX was cancelled. It was an amazing alternative. We stayed at a waterfront site that had great views and a small pier. My kids had a great time fishing. The park was clean and safe. The pool was very nice and refreshing. The dog park was pretty big and kept clean with mulch. But what stood out most were the two guys who worked in the office/store. They were so friendly, welcoming, and kind! We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Bar Harbor is always relaxing. Being on The Bush River is relaxing and peaceful. The staff is very kind and accommodating. I am looking forward to our next booking.

This was our first time to Bar Harbor RV Park and we will definitely return! The site was very nice with an awesome view of Bush River. The pool was clean and well maintained, the staff in the office were friendly and helped me out with questions before I arrived.

We had a pull-in waterfront site in the Bush River portion of the Chesapeake Bay. Most folks that I spoke with make their reservations a year in advance. Most of the inland sites seem to be seasonal and they have overnight boat slips. The campground is at the end of a neighborhood road, but very convenient to US-40. They have a well stocked store and friendly staff. Box Hill Pizzeria and Crab cakes, kids loved the pizza, and the crab cakes were delicious.

Great campground! Views on the river were awesome. It is a tight campground.. great for our small camper but not sure how some managed big ones in there but they did! Bath houses were clean and well kept. Didn’t like that kids needed an 18+ adult to use pool… my 15 year old typically takes my 13 and 10 year olds. Arcade was fun for kids but had drinking and smoking at night so they couldn’t go. Very nice area! Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a baseball tournament that my son was playing at Ripken. The park is tucked away in a quiet little area with stunning views. The only downside, if you would even call it that, was that it was a bit of a drive to a grocery store. The view is absolutely beautiful, bath houses were clean, the pool was perfect and the staff in the office/store were extremely welcoming and helpful. There are not any activities, per say, if you are used to a place that has a full schedule for the kiddos, but they do have boat and kayak rentals available. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

Love the campground, will it be in right on the water. We didn't realize we were going to be flooded every morning with the tide? Very calm, quiet, and peaceful campground. One minor complaint, is the requested a late checkout of 2 hours, and that was going to cost us $20. I spoke to someone at the front desk, and they told me nobody was coming in to our spot. And I believe when we left there was only three campers out there on the peninsula. So I felt after spending the money for a 4-day stay, yet extending our check out 2 hours, we should not have been charged for that. So we ended up pulling up steaks and leaving early.

Loved the views! Nice people, nice shop, clean bath facilities, really nice pool! Sites could use some maintenance at hook up area. Watch when walking due to some rivets in ground, blacktop and sidewalks. Our lot was two different levels so had a hard time rehitching the trailer. But we plan to go again for sure!

We stayed in our RV with tow. Our spot was large enough that we did not have to unhook the tow. The bath house was super clean and the showers were large with great water pressure. Easy walk to the beach. Great store and really friendly staff. I can’t wait to go back. It’s a large park but very quiet at night.

We had stayed here last year...was great! HoWEVER....this year, we stayed while traveling to Maine and the pull through site had a small patch of grass which was covered in dog feces. We had to take bags and pick up the site so we or our dog wouldn't walk through it. I don't mean two or three poops....there was a LOT! Additionally, the 30 Amp plug was broken off at the top and I had to put duct tape across the plug for it to stay in. I was a bit disappointed....you would think the sites would be checked and cleaned before the next RV'er checked in. Prob will not stay here again in our travels.
