We’ve used Fountaindale for years and always happy with the service on our vehicles.

Clark and his staff have taken care of our automotive needs for most of the 40 years we’ve lived in Middletown. Quality work, pleasant to deal with and fair prices. Recently I had 2 rollators that needed attention. Where I purchased them blew me off but Clark & his crew came thru saving me a lot of money! If it’s fixable, they can fix it. THANK YOU!!

I called around many places for estimates and scheduling. Fountaindale had the best price AND could get my car in the same day. The folks there are fantastic and also offer a shuttle. I'm really impressed and grateful!

Very friendly, informative company. Clark the owner is easy to work with, and treats his customers well. The entire group reflects this attitude. Professional, and treats you like family. The kind we wish we really had, that is. PS - if you're worried about cost, ASK FIRST. They will not be offended. And you won't be surprised. We've all been hit by post-COVID prices and minimum wage hikes.

Well it sounds like the dealership will take care of the immediate issue but for the future we will be taking the car to Fountaindale. We were out of town on vacation when the low tire pressure light came on. I googled for an auto repair center nearby. We stopped here to see if they could do a plug in the tire as we thought there may have been a nail in one tire. They were friendly and helped us out right away. It turned out to be a stone that caused the problem. We were back in vacation mode in about 15 minutes. A very nice experience that could have ruined our day! Thank you so much for the kindness and prompt service!

My experience with Fountaindale Auto was great. Very friendly and helpful, they will work with you, trustable, fair pricing, prompt service.

Took a 2001 Acura MDX in for a check engine light in summer 2019, diagnosed as a timing belt issue. Said they ought to do the water pump as well. $1200. Three months later, the check engine light is back on and I fail emissions. Emissions inspection guy gives me a readout that says three of my six cylinders are misfiring. I take it back to Fountaindale, and speak with the owner, who says I need new ignition coils. They put in three new coils for $650. Few days later, the car basically goes haywire: blinking check engine light, loss of engine power, uneven acceleration. I thought the engine was about to die on the spot. Limp back to fountaindale and they say the coils failed. They replaced them under warranty. I sold the car to my cousin for a few hundred bucks and let him know the problems it had. He knew a good Acura mechanic (Suttons Auto Repair in Edgewater, MD) and took it there. His mechanic said that Fountaindale had used generic coils that weren't even compatible with the car. That mechanic installed the proper coils and the car still runs fine 2.5 years later. We took it out camping to West Virginia just last summer. Runs like it used to. All in all, I wasted ~$2000 on shoddy work and an incorrect diagnosis at Fountaindale. I would strongly advise against using this mechanic.

I've been using Fountaindale since the 1990s and Clark and his amazing team are friendly and honest and always do what you ask and try to find an open slot for you last minute. I highly recommended them for any and all things auto. They always treat you like family.

I cannot say enough positive things about Fountaindale Auto Center. Everyone there is so courteous and professional. They've made us feel like family . They've helped us every time we've had a problem with our numerous mechanical issues with 2 different vehicles we've had. They are truly life-savers. Everyone from the owner, mechanics, front desk staff and everyone in between are knowledge and so helpful . Most importantly they are honest every time! That's invaluable.

I have always found Fountaindale Auto to be honest and reasonably priced. I like how they take the time to explain options to me. I live in Frederick, but have no problem going to Middletown for the service.

A local place to get automobile service. Appears to be well-run and well-staffed. Good communication with the customer.

this place is still in business wow not sure how our why, very bad customer service and as for repairs they never got it right and over charged us, would not take any of my cars there again

Expensive in a pinch. We paid almost $600 to replace a water pump after we overheated. They did get us in the same day and out the same day. However, they did not replace the thermostat, which then failed an hour later. Friendly, clean location, but frustrating results. New mechanic replacing the thermostat says they should have known better.

Took my 2006 Honda Minivan in for a brake job.There was 66000 miles on the original brakes. spent some time discussing that i wanted excellent quality parts to be used and was assured that would be the case. 23000 miles later ( a little less than 1/3 the life of the original brakes) i had noises coming from the front wheels, had a mechanic friend take a look and he told me the front brakes were metal on metal. I called fountaindale and was told that it was 2 yrs and 4 months since the work was done and that the warranty period was over and sorry about my luck. I then called the main office as, my work had been done at the Frederick location, and asked to speak to the owner, was told that a message would be passed to him directly and that I would be contacted. No call, $750 wasted on a job i was assured would be the highest quality parts and workmanship.IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Yes, I am referring to car mechanics. Clark is the best in Middletown and cares about his customers. He is very considerate to even offer pick up and drop off service.
