I have been a customer of South Mountain Auto Center for about 6 years. I was highly recommended to them and now pass that recommendation on to anyone who wants trusted, excellent car service. The folks there are efficient, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!

This is the friendliest autobody-service center I have ever used. While driving our F-150 to OBX, we hit a deer on rt 70. It was towed to South Mtn Auto Ctr. They worked with our insurance company directly. Every time I called, there was a cheerful, helpful voice from South Mtn. I picked up my pickup today. The paint work looks awesome. They even spoke to me about caring for it since there was paintwork done. My experience with South Mtn was fantastic. If I ever hit a deer going 75mph on rt 70 near Middletown, MD again, I would choose South Mtn Collision Ctr to fix that vehicle too.

Had tires mounted and balanced and new TPMS sensors installed. Everyone at South Mountain was very friendly and accommodating. Had a night drop box that made leaving the truck very easy. Will be going back.

Amazing experience. My car looked brand new. Very friendly staff. Can't speak to affordability as my cost was covered by insurance, but it was worth every penny.

I was rear-ended at a red light and was told a lot of positive things about this shop so I thought I would check them out. Initially everyone was very professional and sweet. Unfortunately after the repairs I came to pick my car up I noticed a dirty paper on the drivers side of my car and when I disposed of it there was holes in the carpet clearly done from a vacuum (there were lines from the nozzle and half the carpet was clean) When I brought this to the attention of the employees I was given conflicting stories and they were both trying to gaslight me. The fact is the carpet was brand new when I brought it there and it was damaged in their possession. I don’t even believe it would have been a hard fix and I’m not unreasonable but there was no accountability only finger pointing and a “mysterious animal” that “ripped up my carpet” For this I can’t recommend this place to anyone and I was very disappointed. They need to do better and admit when there’s a mistake.

The body shop does excellent work and returned my car back to me looking as good as new- they even cleaned it inside and out. The body color match couldn’t have been more perfect and I’m very pleased with the result. Highly recommended!

I've been bringing my vehicles to South Mountain for service for decades. Ken and the team are very personal and professional. The quality and timeliness of service provided is high, complete and prices are reasonable. Ken, the owner, has the best interest of the customer in mind when providing service. I would highly recommend South Mountain Auto Center to anyone who drives a vehicle and needs service or repairs.

I was having difficulty finding a shop that does auto frame work and it was suggested to me that I contact South Mountain Auto Center to have them repair the rusted frame on my Toyota Tacoma pick-up. When I called them, they indicated that they do NOT do frame work, but did direct me to a welder, Terry's Metal Works in Sharpsburg, MD. I contact him and that is exactly the kind of work he does, so.....THANK YOU, South Mountain Auto Center for providing me with good information...!!!

Dropped our car off on Monday for body work and picked it back up today, much sooner than I anticipated it being ready. The repair looks brand new and the folks at this shop could not have been more pleasant and easy to deal with.

We have four vehicles serviced at South Mountain on a regular basis. I trust the team. Sam and Ernie are FANTASTIC at dealing with on questions/scheduling/etc. Kenny cares about the business and that means caring about the customers. Wow! I can't say enough about the amazing customer service and genuine people. Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, these folks aren't trying to gouge prices. Good people. Good business. While I hope I don't have an accident any time soon, I will definitely be a customer for life.

Brought my 98- Mitsubishi Evo to the South Mountain and they have earned my trust on working on my car. They work quickly and efficiently and offer reasonable prices while earning trust with their customers. Absolutely reccomend them for future work.

South Mountain did some excellent collision body work to my EV this year with perfectly color-matched paint in about two months time. They installed many OEM parts so everything still feels brand new post-repairs. The technicians there are highly skilled and well trained. Keep up the good work and many thanks to South Mountain!

I've had nothing but positive experiences working with South Mountain Auto. I'm always wary of going to the mechanic as I've been taken for a ride in the past. Ernie and his team at South Mountain Auto are timely, communicative, straight shooting, go the extra mile, and their prices are fair. Just recently I brought my vehicle in when they were down a tech, and the guys were able to diagnose my vehicle before close of business that same day. Nobody ever wants to have to get repairs done on their vehicle - but if you ever need work done, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

My husband's car got hit by a deer and we took it here since our insurance recommended this place. We had never been here before and were super happy with the customer service and the work done! His car came out looking better than before it was hit! It looks brand new due to the detailing they did on the inside and outside before we picked it up, which we weren't expecting. It was such a nice surprise to have a detailed car upon pickup! The employees were very friendly at drop off and pickup and we will definitely be using this place from now on!

Kenny and his team are a great bunch. I’ve been going to South Mt for about 8 years. Always far on there pricing and quick to help in an emergency. The mechanic are top notch. I’ve never had an issue with what’s installed or repair. Always alerted to any maintenance that would be needed in the future.

I first went to them when my car was hit by a falling tree on a backpacking trip and needed a new windshield and some body work. Not only was their collision work superb, they have become my 'go-to' shop for both of the cars maintenance and repair. I always get a honest assessment of what is wrong, what needs to be looked at next time, and never overcharged or claims of needing something I really don't need like some shops I have dealt with the past. I highly recommend South Mountain!!

The good people of South Mountain have always been honest with me, letting me know what my cars need and, more importantly, what they don't. They are fast and friendly, and have gone out of their way to help me and my family more than once. Excellent customer service AND automotive service. Highly recommend.

They did an outstanding job of repairing our car after we were struck by a deer. We have used South Mountain for years and have never had an issue with their work. They also help you navigate the insurance claims by working closely with your Agent to answer any of their questions during the claim process. I would recommend Kenny and the crew for all of your auto body needs

This is the first review I have ever written online, ever. I'd just like to say, this family run business is tucked away on main street in Middletown, and boy do they need a more publicized area. They were by far the best auto care I've ever experienced. They were not only knowledgeable, but proud and skilled in their craftsmanship. I dropped my car off this passed Monday, had it already worked on that same day, and just picked it up this Friday amazed at the work. Other shops were quoting me to replace my door, whereas this establishment not only fixed my door, but also cleaned the exterior, buffed out another slightly damaged area, and detailed the inside completely free. They are an incredible shop with even better people. I can't recommend these guys enough. Thank you.

Two days after I picked up my car from being serviced, he contacted me to make sure my car was running okay. Top tier customer service.

South Mountain is my go-to for every vehicle need, from oil changes to brake repair. They are honest, friendly, and very accommodating! They've done collision repair for my husband as well, and we were very impressed with their service. 5 stars. We will always take our vehicles to them!

I have gone to South Mountain Collision a few times over the last year. Once for front end damage to my Subaru, and today for an emergency repair to my Toyota. On both occasions, I have received excellent service. They are courteous, professional, and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
