This is my only mechanic!! He takes care of anything I have asked him for. He always finds time to help me and makes sure my car is in the best level of performance!!! He genuinely cares and it is rare to find in this line of work!!
I've used these guys twice. The first time took quite a while and the price was more than expected, but it was a couple of years ago and quite honestly I forgot how it felt to wait a few weeks and get overcharged; unfortunately, I remember now. So, I took my 18 year old BMW X3 in because it has a phantom electrical drain and I don't do electrical stuff. I get there and they're busy and that's good because busy means they know what they're doing. I dropped the X3 off on 10/18. My fault that I didn't get a quote on how much it would be or set a limit on labor since the X3 is only worth about 2K. Sadly, I couldn't get an estimate because they didn't know when the phantom drain would strike, so I just had to wait. So 6 weeks later (after calling once per week), I call and James says they found the problem, two spots under the dash that were corroded. "Great, how much will it be?" About a day and a half of labor and a new battery; $2,116." Way more than I thought, but without a written estimate and/or quote, I couldn't argue, so I paid it. I told myself, cars cost money and taking the car to a mechanic is expensive, but these guys know what they're doing and it pays when you use a professional. Pay the man. Two days later, I turn the key and the battery's dead. Dead. I called James and he said bring it back in. I thought about it for a fleeting second, but I just can't. I spent $2,116 on 11/29 on a $2,000 car and the problem isn't fixed. I won't go back. It took too long, it cost too much and the problem is still here. I just bought a $59 trickle charger to keep the new battery charged which is what I should have done in the first place.
Great service. They were able to fix my electrical issue on the Chevy Tahoe. Intermittent cruise control and dash lights. As well as my wiper fluid leaking for the rear window. Several years ago I had my Acuta Integra worked on for not starting. They found the issue with the alarm. They also repaired my power windows. Thanks
I used them for repairs and upgrades for my 1996 impala SS. I was scheduled for a knee replacement and couldn't perform the work myself. Nevertheless, they were suppose to install headers, a torque head ls coil pack conversion, new a/c compressor, and replace side mirror.. it took them a month. I paid close to 7,000 and they screwed up my crank snout, ruined the Torque head crank sensor wheel (blamed it on the part) car cant keep time better than a broke watch, shorted out my radio (when they opened the door panel to attach the new mirror) and now the a/c won't blow out cold air. I tried to get square with the owner that admitted the crank key way was fine before they work began. He refused to even refund labor money. They charge premium prices but give poor mechanic work. Due to the botched work, I have to replace my crank .. James seems to be a nice guy but this experience was absurd. I payed what they asked because I'm a square business guy. However, I asked multiple times what the bill was looking like and he kept putting me off. I payed thinking it was a professional job and professional shop. Nope.. wrong.. now.. I have to rebuild my entire motor original motor!
Can fix your electrical issues when the dealerships can’t!! Two dealerships couldn’t solve my grounding issue in 6+ weeks but this shop fix it in 3 days. Keep in mind good mechanics are busy so it might be a few days before they can get to you. It’s worth the wait and you will save money in the long run! Thanks James!
James spent a great deal of time discussing my service options, even scanned codes for free. Hard to find a mechanic you can trust but these folks do it right.
Most technical sound shop I have been to in southern Maryland. Been using this shop for the past three years, always great prices and the best service every single time. I found this shop three years ago when two other shops where unable to diagnose my vehicle.

I wasn't gonna review this place but I think everyone should know. They never fixed my truck charged me a ungodly amount of money and had to do the job twice. Was told it would take a week max to fix it took them 3 months! Then when I would call no one knew anything about it?? I finally get the vehicle back and to my surprise had to go back to them again for the same problem . This time only took a month. If I could put no stars I would. I would never recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to get screwed.
Honest and practical mixed with the right knowledge and professionalism. They handle our entire fleet and go out of their way for every customer they have. They are literally the only shop in Southern Maryland we have done business with that cares about future business and not the one time "you need a new engine job" like Guy Motors or the Gear Box. AA understands the concept of morality. Dont use anyone else it will be a bad decision.

This review is a little delayed but very much needed. We looked around every auto repair place close to the southern Maryland area and AA Auto Electric was the best price to get our A/C repaired literally by hundreds of dollars. We also needed a power steering pump which they had the best price as well. They kept me informed every step of the way so I can make an informed decision before they started working on the problems. They were honest and informative, they even sent pictures to me during the installation. the greatest part after all of the work; they gave me an oil change for free and cleaned and detailed the exterior and interior of the car. It felt like a new car!!! Best experience ever!! Since then we have had them replace brakes on our other car and got the same great experience.
Great experience here, my car was there for about a month. They were super patient and explained everything that was going on, as well as future problems.
My family and I have been going to these guys for 5 years now. They are the best. No BS with these guys, they have always given fair prices and been up front with us. Would recommend them to anyone!
