First time there very nice people I had intentions on taking it to the dump I did a washer dryer and they paid me like $16.50 for the washer and dryer I will go again if need be
Great place everyone was nice and kind and helpful and it’s relatively clean and organized for a scrapyard. Plus they have really good prices you will be in and out. Do not forget your drivers license like I did the first time.
Been coming here for years and I was sure they were ripping me off. today I showed up with 300 pounds of pre-weighed copper. Somehow the scale only got it out to 179 pounds. I’ve been a plumber for 18 years and it’s a known fact that Maryland recycling shorts every person that comes through the door And finds someone who doesn’t work at the company to show up with a little bit of scrap so they can add the extra on and get the money back without being caught. somebody needs to get an attorney involved , this is theft.
I had a great experience here! I especially liked the nice young woman in the office. I believe her name was Kristy. You should pay her double whatever she's currently making now! No, triple!!
Worst recycling center , rip me off almost half of what I was getting at other local recycling center. Extruded aluminum $ .45 when I was getting $. 70 . Lot is small , scale is hard to get on and off.long lines
Great experience. Would recommend without hesitation. Tom and lu and the man who drives the fork lift and backhoe can't remember his name ... but them 3 guys are awesome. They make coming there a breeze always willing to lend a hand and they remember everyone who comes there. Quality people an prices. It's hard to find people like them guy's. I won't go anywhere else just because of them..
The employees are very friendly and helpful. Prices are basically what they are. But this location workers make the experience very easy. Would recommend this recycler to anyone.
Took my son there to recycle brass and copper! Got thru a long line really fast! They pay good for scrap! Son walked away with way more than I thought he would! Highly recommend!
I have been a HVAC contractor for over 32 years and i take all my metal, copper, brass, aluminum products to Maryland Recyclers. I have to say they are very well organized and i can get in and out with No delays. They always give me fair prices for any metal products i bring to them. I would never even think of going to any other metal recycler other then Maryland Recyclers. If i could give them a 10 Star Rating i 100% would. Keep up the Great Work Maryland Recyclers.
Very very easy experience. Generally you call ahead and tell them what you have and then they approve it or tell you what they can't take. You load your vehicle at home, drive to the MRC, drive up on the scale, they give you the green light to come back off, you dump your recyclables in the correct places and then you reweigh (wait for green light) and go inside to claim your money.
I would come back to do business here.
A little below market price. Convenient for my location. Guys in the yard are always good guys. Tipping goes a long way .

Yellow brass clean $1.30 - market $1.40
Aluminum sheet $.20 - market $.25
this is the worst worst place we you can go. They aren't honest. I visit them during the covid19 pandemic the only open place... since they were openaround my area I went there... being this my my first time... we dump out about 900 pounds of nice metal, we get paid about $15 only.
We ask about it and one guy said that it's because the pandemic, the market was low. But thats a lie. United scrap metal would pay me double.... avoid going there unless you have no more choices....!!!
Literally just left Maryland Recycling paid me 1 cent per pound of steel. I called United Recycling they are paying 2.75 cents per pound. Where would you rather go? My advice call for rates BEFORE going. If they don’t tell you the rates I’d go else where.
I just left the Yellow Brick Road facility after dropping off 800 pounds of steel. It wasn't shiny-clean but it wasn't crusty, either. I was given 2 cents a pound. A quick internet search gave the average price of 7 cents a pound. I don't feel 2 cents a pound was a good price. I won't be going back.
Most honest metal recycling company in Baltimore area (by far). Professional service; treat customers with respect and price fairly. Don't have to worry about being taken advantage of, they have strict policies regarding fair metal value and transparent pricing, staff are held accountable to high standards, unlike most other local metal scrappers. Good hours, includes Saturday. Efficient set-up and processing; pay cash!
The people here are not honest with their prices. The guy always tried to rip me off on multiple occasions when he says he will pay me 55 cents a pound for 375lbs of extruded aluminum and he writes 45 on the ticket. This was not the only time either. They are not honest at this yard
Tom is a great help whenever we go. Prices could be a little better and the area in front of the ramp is horrible. Hard to navigate a vehicle around as well.
Easy & quick! They take car batteries, cans/aluminum, copper, steel, brass, refrigerators, any kind of metal that needs recycling but nothing with fluids. And they pay in cash! But some items they have a weight limit (like no less than a certain weight), so call first if you don't know. Otherwise, it's easy!!!!

I went there to sell very small amount of metal. They had other people there but acknowledged me right away. They were fast, friendly and super nice.
They paid me some money for little metal i took.
