I don’t recommend this place , I took my car in on December 23. He had it for almost 2 months and the only thing he was supposed To do was put A dakota digital dash in my car and fix the fuel injection system and put in a wing window. it took him almost 2 months and when he put the Digital Dash in he didn’t calibrate it . The wing window does not open , He didn’t fix the fuel system. I paid him for the work he did which was not done correctly. He alleged he put in new spark plugs Which I didn’t need because I just had brand new ones installed before I took him the car . I told him he was a liar and he went off because he was wrong . He told me to come get my car ! Because I caught him in a lie . I told him he had my car for two months and you only did two things . When I called him after he had my car for almost a month to check the status of my car he alleged he was having some personal issues . I sympathized with him and told him I understand he claimed he was still working on the car but he wasn’t. He tried to tell me that I had other issues with the car and it would be an additional $2200. I asked him for the invoice for what had been done thus far , He could only prove the work for the Wing Window and the digital dash . He was already paid for that . This guy is just a mess . my car came out worse than when it went in there. he uses all kinds of excuses like family problems and staff members walking out on him for not fixing your vehicle in a timely fashion . Once again I do not recommend this place ! *** I have the receipt that you added the note stating that the digital dash was not calibrated. The wing window does not open on the passenger side . I’ve already taken the car to another a mechanic and he stated your work was pathetic! My car is back firing. It took you two months to fix two things . The mechanic laughed at you because of the poor work you did on my vehicle he said you should be ashamed of yourself. That’s why your front desk guy walked out on you , per your words ! Probably because of your bad attitude but you have the nerve to say I was rude which is a lie .. I know what spark plugs look like , and I know I just had brand new ones put on prior to bringing you the car and the invoice to prove it . you’re not going to have any luck that’s why your dealing with the problems you’re having now !

Gavin and his team are the best. You’ll always feel like they put you first, no matter how busy. Quick, efficient and affordable. I’ll never go to any other auto repair shop!

I absolutely love Larry and Lola! I was able to put my trust into them with a long process involving my vehicle. They were so communicative and professional. I recommend EVERYONE TO LARRY. Great business and great work! They get a customer forever out of me.

I do not recommend Milford Automotive Services. They are unprofessional. They waited until 730 am the morning of my appointment to call & cancel because they claim they realized they no longer had a state inspector on staff. My appt was made five days prior to the cancellation. I was notified 30mins before my schedule time (8am) that it had to be cancelled.

From the very beginning when we called to make an appointment… It was a very easy and pleasant experience. They were honest and upfront and told us what we had to do immediately for our car and what was able to be waited on. We are so impressed that we will now begin using the shop for all and everyone of our cars needs.

We have taken our cars there forever! Can always get in, even on short notice, or we just stop in. ALWAYS accomodating. Confident that what service we need will be taken care of. They alert us to whatever may come along that we would need to address. Total Confidence! Highly recommend!

I was on my way to New York when I noticed my thermostat acting up, and thank the lord I found this shop on short notice. Brad and Brooklyn were incredibly patient with my concerns and went above and beyond to fit me in between their appointments—which is very rare. To my surprise, they even got me in faster than expected and quickly diagnosed a radiator issue. What really stood out was their honesty and fairness. The pricing was very reasonable, and their assessment felt genuine, not like they were trying to upsell me. That kind of transparency is hard to come by. If you’re local to them, I highly recommend trusting them with your car. I live about 40 minutes away, but I’ll definitely stay in touch with them for major repairs. It’s worth the drive to know you’re in good hands with quality work. Thank you again

I made a stupid mistake and needed a quick fix. I ended up Googling Milford Automotive on a whim because they were close to me at the time. I came into the office explained my issue. They took down my info, I paid my deposit and waited for my appointment. The staff kept in contact with me to let me know when the part I needed arrived. We had a funny mixup that was promptly resolved the next day. All and all I had a very positive experience and was kept informed throughout the entire process. The customer service was very friendly and professional something thats lacking nowadays. I’ll definitely be back to see them in the future. If you’re in a bind don’t hesitate to check them out.

I had a very thorough inspection of my 2006 Toyota which helped me make a decision on whether I wanted to keep the car. No other shop had ever taken the time to show me what would need to be fixed and explain it so well. I came just thinking that I had bad brakes. I left there knowing about all of the reasons why my car was making a scraping noise and all of the problems with my car. I really appreciate the time they took to determine all of the problems and explain it so well.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Millford. I spent thousands of dollars having my car repaired. Mistakes were made, and instead of making the issues right, they made excuses and sold me other services that did not fix the issue. Also, I was given 1 price over the phone, and after the service was complete, I was told it was hundreds of dollars more no one ever contacted me to Ok the price increase. I am a 10 yr customer, and over the last few years, service has gotten worse and worse. At one point, I trusted this shop, but now I'm looking elsewhere. *denying accountability, exactly why I'm taking my car elsewhere. Green camry, you replaced my exhaust, and radiator last fall. I will add a Pic with my info removed.

I had taken my Mini into Milford Automative to change the oil & fix the brake issue. I knew my car needed other things fixed but I didn’t know she (my Mini) was on her “last legs.” Gavin called me and told me EVERYTHING that was wrong with the car (which would have cost me well over 1500 to fix). What I appreciate about Gavin (who is the owner) is that he was VERY transparent, professional and ethical. He could have charged me the amount to get the car fixed and let me get on the road knowing that I could have quite possibly been back there with more issues. Instead, his honesty motivated me to trade my car in and get a “new to me car” at a dealership that same day. The money I had allocated to get car “fixed” I used as a down payment at the dealership. So if you are looking for an honest mechanic that won’t fleece you..please take your car to Milford Automotive & ask for Gavin! You won’t be disappointed, I promise you! And let me add, I’ve taken my sons’ car there for any issues and it’s been fixed in a timely manner. We are repeat customers because of the excellent customer service, the affordable rates and quality of service.

Oh man, where do I begin. My car had been making this humming noise for over month or so, only to find out that the alignment wasn't done properly (elsewhere). I had to get two new rear tires an alignment and a few other things. Needless to say I no longer hear the noise thanks to Milford Automotive team and I could have leaped for joy!! Thank you guys!!! Work done 5/7/2025.

Milford Auto has been the service station of choice when I need anything done on my vehicle. Many of the employees where I work use Milford Auto due to their customer service and their ability to get the job done at fair prices. I can rely on them service my vehicle and not have to worry about the quality of service or the condition of my vehicle down the road. They're the neighborhood service station that I can count on. Update 4/10/25: The dealer notified me of some issues with my vehicle. I called Milford Automotive to see if they could take care of that service. Milford Auto gave me a better price than the dealer. I also trust them to not take me for a ride. They completed the job on time and they did a great job.

Found issues the first mechanic shop could not find during their diagnostic. The breakdown of the services and labor was transparent and fair. Was in the shop under a week. Quick service and fair prices, I cannot complain would recommend, 5/5.

I had a cv axle replacement done recently. I picked up my car on a Friday and drove fifty miles from home, only to have it fail. They had it towed for me, replaced the defective part, and had it ready by early Monday afternoon. Outstanding customer service from every employee I encountered. Very professional.

The air kept leaking from my tire and it got to the point that it wouldn't even take air. My nephew recommended Milford Auto, so we had AAA tow it there at about 6pm one night. By 10 the next morning I had received a call that they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it...at a very reasonable price I might add. They were courteous, professional and fast. I promised to give a shout out to Gavin. I don't know if he is the guy who waited on me or the one who fixed the tire. Whichever he was, Hey Gavin! This company was recommended to me, and I plan to pay it forward by recommending it to others. Good job guys.

Have used Milford Automotive for many years. Have always found them friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I found them to be honest with fair prices for work performed. Gavin is great to deal with, always a straightforward explanation of your automobile problems. I have recommended this shop to my friends who have also been satisfied with their work. I found this location online instead of through word of mouth. I was never informed of any fees for inspecting my car when I was told to leave the keys in the drop box during a phone call. I have had mechanics look over vehicles in the past to tell me what was wrong with no charge me for this information. Yet, of course charges for the repairs. When I spoke with the gentleman the next day about my car, he was rude, short, and unnecessarily difficult explaining there were now fees for looking over my car and that I should not expect them to work for free. I explained that this was not what I expected I just didn't know there was a fee; he could have told me before I dropped off my car. He then told me that he always lets everyone know. I reminded him that he never told me of an inspection fee or the cost. I'm utterly bothered by this gentleman's false accusation that I was informed of information I was never told, as well, the tone and manner in which he handled the situation. I have three cars and will be sure to avoid this shop in the future if I am ever in need of an auto shop. Customer service is key and it was completely lacking in the experience.

I think this place is Fantastic. They have been honest and straight-shooting with me and my 10+ year old Lexus. I don't like getting my car(s) serviced at (overpriced) dealerships. This place is reasonable. Milford / Automotive is Also a place where you can say to the guys at the service desk; "Look, This is what I'm experiencing, I think XYZ. can you confirm / deny this?" And they check it out and then they call you to talk about what they found before you agree to anything you didn't specifically order or approve already. They also didn't charge me when they found something minor that they could have charged me a lot for - which seems to confirm honesty. I consider them my go-to garage now.

I had my vehicle towed in for an unknown issue at the time. Much of the communication with was with Brooke who is new and training. She provided misinformation to my husband and I regarding an AC issue to which Brad acknowledged she did not provide an account of the issue. The total cost of repairs changed several times during the 4 days the shop had my vehicle. Brad was extremely rude when we inquired about the exact cost of parts and repairs. He even went as far as telling me that he does not have to inform me and ask permission to make repair to parts the shop deems as “required”. He then mentioned that it’s written in their paperwork to which I explained that my vehicle was towed in and I did not have any paperwork, nor did Brooke explain anything of the sort when we spoke with her prior to having the vehicle towed in. It’s always my choice as the customer to decide if I want to proceed with repairs. Brad is rude and a terrible representation of this business. I received a text from Gavin asking about my experience. I expressed my disgust and you would think as the shop owner he would follow up, but he did not. I am not interested in patronizing businesses that don’t value me as a paying customer. Brad’s rude tone -because I have questions about my vehicle repair - is unacceptable and should be addressed. I will never spend another dime with this business. *I was referred by a long time customer (15 + years) who regrets making the referral after hearing of our experience. He too had a terrible experience with Brad and Brooke following my encounter which had not been his experience in previous years with other shop personnel. **EDIT** As previously stated, poor customer service. Rather than replying to me regarding my experience you explain under a review totally unrelated to MY experience. Brad was rude and aggressive to which you did not even address in your response. My argument is not about a $30 part, but the misinformation we received throughout the entire process. Regardless, it is my $30 to decide if I want to spend with you or not and we should have been notified. The $30 part is not the only issue we had with our experience. As previously stated, you are not interested in improving the customer experience, only defending the disgusting attitude/ actions of your staff. As a service professional myself, I’m committed to providing a positive customer experience at all times. Clearly you guys missed the marked. Do better.

I am most impressed with the service and customer care provided me. It is unusual to get a physician to see how you’re doing after a procedure, but this was provided me. Their team is extraordinarily knowledgeable and share that information. Until moving to Baltimore, I use the Lexus dealership For service and quite frankly, as luxurious as it was, I prefer the personal care I have .received here here . Their work is impeccable and fees very fair. I have never trusted mechanics more.

This is a great shop, that exemplifies honesty and integrity of work. They gave me straightforward answers and didn’t charge me for work that didn’t need to be done. Even looking up recalls and warranty information for me to make an informed decision. I would recommend anyone to allow them to keep your vehicle in top shape.

It was as easy of an experience as you could hope for when dealing with a broken down car. I highly recommend if you live in the area to use them as your mechanic or if you ever have an emergency go there! A+ My car broke down with a bad alternator on I-83. I was able to jump my car and drive off the highway. I did a quick Google search for local automotive mechanics and noticed that Milford had excellent reviews. I was able to get my car towed to Milford but they were closed at the time. Someone who works there actually stopped in to get something while I was dropping off my key so I was able to explain the situation. He told me they'd be able to take care of it in a day or two which worked out perfectly because I was not in a rush. They called me the next day to confirm it was the alternator. The day after that the car was repaired and I haven't had a single issue with it since. It's been running great. Since I live an hour away they were able to leave my key and I could pick it up after hours. Thank you Milford Automotive Service Center!
