Terrible experience. Took my car here for an issue and came out with it worse than before after over $1000 spent. Owners stated they “never” have call backs yet I was back there twice because the vehicle was worse off than before. Was told on Friday when I picked it up for the 3rd time if I have any issues to call back and let them know. Check engine light came on this morning so called to make them aware. Was met with extreme hostility by both owners (father and son), swearing and screaming on the phone that they were done working on the car. They are incompetent and don’t know how to work on cars. Constant misdiagnosis which resulted in a lot of money being spent and my issue still not resolved. DO NOT GO HERE

Avoid this place like the plague. The owner is not only rude but dangerous. I used them out of convenience since they are nearby. I’ve taken my van to them multiple times. Every single time there is an issue. I finally called to speak to them about it and before I could even finish explaining the issue the owner yells at me and hangs up. Not two days later a serious issue happens with the breaks. I took it to another mechanic who tells me that whoever replaced my hub assembly didn’t put the wires back into place and didn’t remove the old pins completely. The wires were being pinched causing the ABS to go out. Who did that work? That was Tyler’s. Issues every time I’m there. Never again.

I've been going there 20 years, they've always been great. Fine work and about the fairest prices I've found in the Bangor area.

As always, Tyler's did top-quality work on my Jeep at a very fair price. While inspecting it last December, John warned me that the rear brakes would need work by Summer, as a result I got the job done before it got to the point where rotors were damaged. I trust Tyler's to keep my vehicles in good repair, using quality parts and charging honest prices.

As usual, I got excellent service work on my Jeep Liberty and was pleased that it passed their careful inspection and qualified for a new sticker. I always go to Tyler's because I know they'll do great work at honest prices.

Busch league business, very dirty shop, none of the mechanics are certified in anything, and are horrible trouble shooters. And the ower is very rude, sloppy... looked like an smelled like he could use a good shower, and another kicker is he has less knowledge than his workers he constantly talks out his ass to sell his junk parts.... stay clear of this one and hang on to your money, and find qualified people to work on your vehicle.

I went off the road one year in Winterport. It was December 29th 2013. My car was badly damaged and I wouldn't have any money until the first. I live an hour away so this was seriously an inconvenience. But Jarrod was there to help me every step of the way. The owner told me he would fix it that day, if I promised promised to bring him the $500 of work itcost to get back going. Not only did they fix it and give me a heck of a deal, they did a safety inspection and put a stick on it for me. I had no idea it ran out! These are wonderful people and I will only go to them for any repair work. If you get any guff from these people. You probably deserved it. God bless these people.

I came in to ask how the three hours of labor broke down for my trucks work - topping off refrigerant, changing a battery lug, and adding engine cleaner to the fuel tank. The owner went totally ballistic on me. He and someone else there were screaming on me. I literally politely asked for a break down of the work. They were absurdly ridiculously unprofessional, irate and a little terrifying. Only go here if you are a backwoods good old boy. They'll rip you off if you seem like you are vulnerable, then they'll lie to your face about it.

I called the store and then sent them a picture from my phone of the part I needed to replace on my parent's sink. Jarrod made sure he had the right size in stock before I drove out there. They take debit cards (not always guaranteed in Waldo County) and it feels good supporting a local business. Oh yeah, it was the Sunday before Christmas too.
