There is no doubt that he is the best in town for electrical diagnostics. The 3 stars is for the lack of transparency on costs. I called and asked pricing and was told he doesn't do diagnostic pricing it is simply $90 an hour and however long it takes. Not a bad labor price at all. However what was not disclosed was the additional fees. The $75 computer hookup fee the $25 wiring diagram lookup. The 4% card fee. Still recommend for electrical issues however customer beware and ask him to disclose any fees you may run into.
Called and described my issue. He knew what to look for right away. Got me in and fixed in a week. The rate was very reasonable and less than I was expecting. Great place
At First he seemed to know his stuff and he did figure out one of my issues, But not the major reason I went there. after $660 labor and $700 in parts, when the problem came right back he stated " I don't know what to tell you" So no I wouldn't go back.
I can't recommend Perry at Virgins Auto enough!!! Quick turn around time, amazing communication and excellent service. Perry gave us very good/affordable prices and listened to everything we had to say/offer. One of my best experiences with having my car serviced! Fixed our issue perfectly and even helped fix an issue I didn't originally mention. Support local places like this one, because he's the kind of mechanic that 100% deserves it. 10/5!!!
Best electric guy in rumford area for sure had a alternator lssue and he fixe it right aways really professional men you can see its not is first day i would recomend everyone that as electric issues to this man !
While travelling from out of state, an electrical problem created an intermittent and then a full on no-start situation. After a day of attempting to figure it out with wind-chill in the negatives, volt meter in hand, cleaning connections, and having gone after the obvious areas, and even the less so, with no luck and no fun, as a snow squall hit attempting it, Perry squeezed me into his busy schedule on Monday.
When he starts moving towards your vehicle with his test lamp, get the heck of his way, the man's a diagnostic tactician.
Highly professional and was accommodating and fast, and very fair pricing since he pinpointed the issue quickly which matters when you're paying someone for their time.
The first thing you'll notice is a log cabin-style auto garage and a very hard worker that gets right to it! He saved the trip! Halo given to this guy! 😇 Flicker, flicker..don't worry, he'll get the halo wiring fixed too and glowing bright again!! Highly recommend! Thanks again Perry!
After bringing my vehicle here for a battery my car would not shift, never had this problem before, car wouldn’t even make it home. Stay away from this place!
If its fixable, this is the man that can do it. He rebuilds alternators with high end components, making them better then factory new. This guy is the man!
