I have had several services ranging from a full engine swap to braking adjustments. I have always been very happy with the work done and their affordable labor costs, as well as their option to bring your own parts for them to use. Love the guys at Savage Auto, they have really helped me out over the last couple years.
They gave me an inspection sticker in May, that my car didn’t earn!! Got my car back with the horn not working, oil leaking, transmission fluid leaking, and my rear light out (which they were supposed to fix)!! Beyond displeased with their service, and would not recommend EVER. If they’re in a rush (even if they’ve had your car for a month) they’ll just lie to you apparently!!
I called to ask if they could repair a rotted trailing arm support and they said they could over the phone, after waiting almost 2 weeks for an appointment, I had the vehicle towed 38 miles to their shop only to have them tell me they couldn't repair it, so I had to have it towed 38 miles back to my house. Don't tell me you can do something if you can't, and maybe ask the customer for photos next time if they can't get it there without being towed.
We came in to Savage Auto Body after getting a flat and putting on a spare. It was 4:45 and they patched our tire by 5:00. We were so grateful for the speedy and gracious service! We still had 200+ miles to drive and were picturing a very different outcome if Savage wasn't able to help us then. Thank you so much!
These guys were great, I had a mouse nest catch on fire in my AC evaporator case... go figure... anyway, they took time out to check everything for me and get us safely back on the road.
These guys saved our vacation. We were traveling from Bar Harbor to Mt. Washington when our battery suddenly died in a rest area. A gentleman there gave us a jump and we started our search for help. Savage was our third stop and they went out of their way to get us back on the road. We could tell they were swamped with local customers yet they took the time to help us. Thanks again, guys ❤️
Best place for your automotive and bodywork needs in Bethel and the surrounding area. My family and I have been going here for years and trust them with all our car and even boat maintenence and upkeep.
Drove up to Bethel to do some camping and rear brake caliper failed on my F250. Stopped by Savage the next morning and they had it finished in an hour! Alex replaced rotors, pads, bad caliper and had us on our way!

My truck had crazy lights on dash and would not start. They did a computer diagnostic and found a bad control module and now it runs like new. The Boys are great and I would highly recommend them.
Awesome experience there! I was heading back to Massachusetts after visiting family and my low coolant light went on I wasn’t sure I’d be able to make the 4 hour ride home. I stopped in and a mechanic topped off the coolant and checked all the hoses at NO Charge! So impressed they’d treat an out of state resident so kindly! Thank you so much!
These guys are lifesavers. Took my car in with a dented rim from a nearby pothole and they were able to get a rim ordered and replaced for a very reasonable price. They even were willing to arrange pick-up while closed so as not to add hassle to my vacation. Definitely recommend for any auto woes while visiting Bethel.
I've returned to Savages now 6 times for number of large and small work done on my car; from car inspections lights/small electrical, and regular maintenance including tune-ups. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and care about the service they provide you at an excellent hourly rate!

I’m very discouraged by savage auto my car was broken down so I had them fix it the end breaking the distributor now I’m paying 120$ to get it repaired elsewhere. I don’t recommend taking your car there.
Been using these guys for years now. They are always helpful and have done basically every bit of work/ maintenance on all of my vehicles. Fair/ reasonably priced and friendly.
