I had never been to Hawke before. The staff was kind and helpful when I inquired. I got an appointment for necessary service in a week. Work was done well and the price cost reasonable.
I was staying in the area and got a flat tire. I went to Hawks to have my tire serviced. It was recommended by a local resident. The service was excellent and honest. They plugged my tire, inflated my spare tire and reset my electrical settings. So thankful for their professional service. I was able to get on my way quickly and enjoy the rest of my vacation.
Absolutely best place you will find. Beyond kind, straight to the fact and just so helpful. Everyone is awesome there and responsive to any question. Couldn't find a better place!!!
I dropped my underage child's car here to have some tires swapped over. My son drives the car with the sisters in it. My son picked the car back up without the shop advising him of any further action needed. Fast forward a week or so and both of the front tires almost fell of my child's car. I called the garage and was informed that I should have checked them. I mean isn't that what I paid for? I called and complained after I tightened the tires myself and got a snotty sorry. Def won't be taking anything here again.
I went there to replace a stem valve on my wheel and and the employee working there which was a chubby older man couldn’t even pick up one of my wheels and he was just bieng grumpy and bad talking about the wheels . In the matter of the wheel bieng on the machine he didn’t want to take the tire completely off so he was struggling to do it. Some other employee came to finish the job the right way . So I went the day after tomorrow to do another and the front desk lady gave me an appointment for the next hour as soon as the chubby older man saw my truck he talked to the lady and she came hollering at me to come back , so when I went back she told me were you the one that we changed last time and I said yeah then they just made up a bunch of stuff not to do it like “ the job will take about an hour and I’m booked for the week “
Or “ I didn’t realize it was you from last time if not I would of told you that we had an opening next month “ and that last resolution they gave me was take “ take the tire off the wheel and bring it to us we will change the valve and you mount the tire back on the wheel “ I was like wow ! I will never recommend anyone to go there ever !!
We're on a road trip from Florida. My car's belly pan lost some fasteners somehow. Hawke Motors was recommended by AAA. I walked in to Hawke Motors ( who happened to be across from our hotel!), and they squeezed me in. Dropped the car off at 7:30 and it was ready in a few hours. They were kind, knowledgeable, and charged an extremely reasonable price. Thank you, Hawke Motors!
David with Hawkes really goes above and beyond. We were in an accident in Maine on our way back to Rhode Island. He took us to two different rental companies to make sure we could get a vehicle, as the first was closed on Labor Day. Then towed our car all the way to Rhode Island same day. It was delivered right to our parking place before we made it back home. Really exceptional service and great guy.
To say this is a stand up business would be an understatement. Called the garage and had the car completed in the same day. Rotors and Calipers replaced, the cherry on top would be the garage contacting us after we had already paid to inform us they had overcharged as one caliper did not require full replacement.
These guys are the best! They saved our vacation when our car started making at awful rattling noise on the drive from NY to ME. We managed to limp our way to our hotel near them, dropped the car with them the next morning and let them know we were supposed to check out and head farther the north the next day, and by the middle of the afternoon they'd pinpointed the a/c compressor, found a replacement, and had it ready for us to pick up. And the price was reasonable. Our first vacation in 1.5 years was saved. I'd recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you, Hawke Motors!

Pleasant and professional staff; they made me feel comfortable and welcome. Not only did they fix my car within a reasonable time and within my budget- they asked me to return the following week to make sure everything still looked good. I live in Brunswick, but I will continue to take my car there even though it’s 45 minutes away. The staff there is that amazing. Thanks, crew!!!
I recently needed my car inspected. I decided to take it to Hawke Motors. They did a thorough inspection of my vehicle. Most places would come out and tell you what needs to be done. Hawke motors did the same. However, they took the time to show me why the work needed to be done. They also gave me options and quoted me a price far below anyone in the area. Robert, Troy, and Alan are first class. Very professional. They all go above and beyond normal customer sevice. They were able to find out why my airbag light was on and fixed it at a cost hundreds below what a dealer quoted me. I cant express my thanks to this business. You would be crazy to take your vehicle anywhere else.
