Quirk is a great dealership and I’m sure lots of people have great experiences there. My experience there just happened to not be great and moving forward I will be doing all my business both purchasing and servicing at a different location. I figured being close to where I live and buying a new f350 with what these trucks cost the experience would have went differently but unfortunately it did not.

sold me an engine for my deleted and tuned diesel , assured me warranty would be valid , had issues immediately , now a year later still same issue and they say because ots deleted and tuned warranty will not be valid , stay away from these liars , rhet just want your money

My husband I call Santa Tried to buy me this same exact vehicle in star, white with Ripley and Fletcher before Christmas. Over three weeks was waiting for it to come in on the train, it was then put on a truck to Ripley and Fletcher. The person was out that day. Got a text sorry it came in on the truck and someone bought it right off the truck. I was heartbroken 💔 when I was told sorry, that Saturday before Christmas we had previously bought 4 other vehicles through them in past. Santa didn't give up and went to Quirk ford in Augusta where our daughter had bought an explorer and has been happy with. So off course on 30th this was mine. Thanks to my husband Santa and manager spencer made it happen before the end of the year.I can't say enough good things about them.They've been great to me up there, knowing my husband was between hospital stays. I just got a leased 2025 explorer. So far the wipers are not cleaning the windshield and more important, the vehicle came with all season tires that are summer tread. So far I have slid through one red light and also I have slid into oncoming traffic twice. Ford has refused to do anything about these problems. The tire issue is a direct safety problem but they say the vehicle came through with all season tires and that that was the package for this explorer. If I get into an accident because of these tires, I will sue. All season tires with NO cross tread as they should have as an all season tire. Once this lease is up, I will never get another vehicle for Farmington Ford.

I was so anxious and so wore out of fighting with my credit Union about different vehicles and Spencer. Senior call me as it come on, I'm vicking trust drive this car. He found me a lovely vehicle. He found he gave me all the you know. If they in the butts about it, he got my credit Union to take the loan. He got him to drop my interest rate. 5 points he's amazing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great experience here at Quirk Ford of Augusta with Paul and Fred. The process was fast, straightforward, and totally no-nonsense — no games or pressure. We traded in our old car and got a great value for it, which made the whole thing even better. The team was super easy to work with and very accommodating — we had two babies with us, and they were so patient, offering snacks and water for the kiddos while we finished everything up. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Highly recommend!

When my car refused to start, I contacted Quirk Ford in Augusta, Maine. They wasted no time in towing it in. I heard back from them the same day explaining in easy terms what the issue was and the estimated cost. I was so impressed with the professional attitude of Josh. He handled everything for me. The final cost was a little less than expected. I was so thrilled I bought 4 new tires at the same time! I would recommend Quirk Ford to anyone who appreciates professional service and excellent customer service. P.S. they also delivered my car to my home when finished.

I purchased my Tahoe from Quirk Ford of Augusta/Hollowell nearly 3 months ago. As expected, they exceeded expectations during the buying process. Fast-forward 3 months. I was leaving work after an extraordinarily long overnight shift to find multi system failure in my Tahoe to include the brakes among other systems . As you can imagine this was anything but convenient and truly a terrifying experience to say the least. Once home, I began the process of navigating what to do and how to do it. Fortunately, I had purchased a warranty package. So keeping that in mind, I called Quirk Ford. A gentleman by the name of David who works in the service department took my initial call. I explained my situation and conveyed that I also had a warranty. He immediately looked me up and was able to find that I had a warranty and gave me the information he had available to him. David reassured me that this would be handled promptly. He then put me through to the finance manager, Fred Dalton, who would help me navigate the warranty and the process in using it. I left a message as prompted. I had made David aware I was coming off of an overnight shift and would be trying to nap until early afternoon. When I awoke, Fred had text me, as to not disturb my sleep. He requested that I get a hold of him at my earliest convenience. As you can imagine, I contacted Fred immediately on the cellular number that he had texted me from. Fred immediately validated my concerns and worries as well as reassured me of the efficiency of the process as a whole as they would work hard to resolve this for me in a timely fashion. He educated me on the process from start to finish in a way that was easy to understand and relatable. I explained that it was my only vehicle and I had responsibilities in regard to picking up my child from sporting/school events that very afternoon. Fred and David, although completely different departments, worked what seemed to be effortlessly and completely seamless. They arranged for a tow truck to come to my home to collect my Tahoe. They insured I would be able to ride with the tow truck to the dealership as they had arranged for a loaner vehicle so while diagnosing and repairing my Tahoe, I had safe transportation for me and my son. To be very clear, when I first called, I was very much a hot mess and I’m sure not pleasant/easy to deal with initially. But their approach unwavering. It has been my personal experience that when you buy new/used, dealerships in general, they work hard to sell you on the vehicle, but once you’re out of the door, the customer service is lacking and typically treated as just a number rather than a priority like during the buying process. I’m truly amazed at the level of customer service Quirk Ford of Augusta/Hollowell offers as a whole, regardless of the department. Seamless service is what I have received. Their approach was very much proactive and personalized as they legit catered to me from the moment I called when my brakes went right up to the time I arrived with the tow truck. They were extremely empathetic to all of my concerns, I’m a woman…. And so there were many, lol. They made what was truly an inconvenient, scary situation very manageable. They truly exceed all expectations barring none. I will always go to Quirk Ford for all of these reasons and I encourage you to as well. Big thank you to Fred, David and the others who helped make this a positive experience.

A Five-Star Experience at Quirk Ford Augusta I stopped in at Quirk Ford while on vacation—just browsing the 2025 Ford F-150s, or so I thought. A few conversations later with John Gouse, and I was driving away in a brand new 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat Hybrid in sleek all black. Spencer Grinnell, the sales manager, worked some real magic to make the deal come together, and Fred in finance made the paperwork painless—he even set me up with GAP insurance and an extended 5-year/100,000-mile warranty for peace of mind. What really stood out was how none of these guys were pushy. They were professional, straightforward, and genuinely fun to work with. Even the clean-up crew and parts team went the extra mile to make sure my new truck looked and felt perfect at delivery. I absolutely love this truck. I’m heading back home to South Carolina soon and can’t wait to try out the BlueCruise feature on the drive south. Huge thanks to everyone at Quirk Ford Augusta for turning what was supposed to be “just browsing” into a truly memorable and enjoyable experience!

Called to talk about getting a car, I told them that they could do a soft inquiry. Next thing I know I have 5 hard inquirys on my credit. Then they called to tell me they sold the car I wanted. Then kept harassing me to buy other cars they have. They tried pressuring my wife into buying one of the cars. Place is a joke.

My service with Quirk Ford was good. However, Ford has had problems with their Escapes in that coolant leaks into the cylinders and causes cracks in the block which means a new engine. If this occurs within 7 years and is under 88,000 miles, there should be no cost. My car was just 7 years old with 69,500 miles and it still cost me over $8,000. I am not happy with Ford.

I went in and ordered 4 new BF GOODRICH ATs and scheduled to bring my truck in for the tires to be installed and oil change. I dropped my truck off on the scheduled date and After a couple of hours I was called an informed that they could not install them since they only had 2 tires. Had them do the oil change since the truck was there. We rescheduled for the tires to be installed on the next Saturday. I arrived with the truck only to wait for three hours and have the service guy inform me they would not finish due to the tires are bigger than they expected. They did execute the oil change for free. Not worth three trips back and forth. They gave me a loaner vehicle and told me they could drop my truck off and pickup the loaner. When the truck was done the service person told me they could drop it off if I gave them a card. I told them I had cash, they told me I would have to come in and pay. The amount of driving back and forth to the dealership was a complete waste of time for the price of tired.

Be cautious if you decide to bring your car here for service. They are rude and could care less about if you have a car or not. I had a recall on my car that required 2 days to fix it by day 5 of them having my car I was fit to be tied. 5 days with no car, I asked if I could get a loaner since it was taking more then the time they told me (was suppose to be 2 days). The response was your not a customer of ours so no (apparently bc i didnt purchase my ford there, when i didnt even live in the state then). Not sure how I can not be a customer when they have my car for 5 days. I said I had no other car and the response to that was, that sucks. Even when they broke an o2 sensor on my car and had to keep it an extra day, still nothing but you'll get your car when it's done. They say they will call with an update and they never do, you always have to call them. The guy even went home for the weekend early and didn't call. I called and they said your car just got done so you can pick it up or have it delivered (they picked it up and knew it had to be delivered) Monday and it was only Friday at 3pm. They just assumed they could keep my car for the weekend (making it 8 days) with no communication bc its the weekend so they go home and dont give a crap. If I wasn't a customer before I sure won't be at any point in the future and I won't go back for car work. Im not even 100% sure it's safe at this point. They took my engine apart and took twice as long and now im afraid it's not back together correctly, here's to hoping it is 🤞

My husband and I purchased a second-hand Ford Explorer in August 2023. As per the sales contract, the dealer agreed to repair the leather door panel that required stitching. We were informed that the dealer outsourced this work to an external technician who visited their premises intermittently, making scheduling challenging. On multiple occasions, we brought our vehicle to the dealer, leaving it for extended periods, but unfortunately, the technician's visits did not coincide with our drop-offs. The dealer assured us that they would keep our contact details on file and notify us when the technician became available. However, two years have passed, and despite our numerous follow-ups, we have yet to receive a call. Our last attempt to schedule an appointment was unsuccessful, with the dealer citing that too much time had elapsed, and they would not honor their contractual commitment. Although this issue may seem insignificant, it raises concerns about their business integrity. As a result, they have lost our future business due to their failure to repair a torn door panel.

Went in for brake repair and inspection, left with a flat tire and severe transmission fluid leak, they took no responsibility for the damage THEY caused. After being juggled around between four different people trying to explain my concerns over multiple days. I ended talking with the less than delightful, service manager who not only tried to gaslight me into thinking the issues where preexisting he proceeded to tell me my issues where a cop out and screamed over me and would not listen to anything I had to say. They have zero customer service, zero accountability, and apparently zero knowledge of cars if you leave with worse issues then you went in with. I wish I would have read the reviews before going here since it seems this unpleasant service manager has done this to countless others. Think it's time for this man to find another job. Hope you take the time to save yourself money and hassles and just go somewhere else where they value there customers.

Bought my Blue Certified 2016 F150 Lariat on Oct 3rd 2022 truck looked super clean but a week later i noticed the headliner was soaked and the carpet om the rear passengers side was also soaked with water pooling under the sillplate. Brought the truck to the dealership they said it was the cab vents and id pay half of the repair costs i refused as i only had the truck about 1.5 weeks. So my truck sat there for a week with no communication, I not knowing they werent ordering parts. The next week i contact them and my salesman says he got them to order the parts. Well come the end of the week they replaced the vents and that the rear window was now leaking and itd be another $100. I absolutely refused to pay a cent. So the higher up manager contacted me and said they were taking care of it. So bring my truck back a week later for them to replace the glass, next rainstorm leaks again same area. So i had to bring it back a third time and they claimed it was the third brake light so they replaced that. Well come today 11/28 three trips and multiple occasions without my truck it is still leaking somewhere with water pooling around the wiring harness right where i told them. On top of that everytime i picked my truck up the carpet was still wet and smelled of mildew. They never cleaned the truck or dried the carpet after working on it, hell the rear glass still had nasty residue on it. Needless to say inspect any work you have done it appears they now judt rush the vehicle out as quick as possible. It has had the cab vents, rear window, and third brake light replaced an each time they claimed it was fixed and they couldn't find a leak. Be careful buying here even if certified look over the vehicle thoroughly. If all the above actually was leaking that means the truck was sold with three leaks in it which i dont blame them for. The part that makes me upset is each time they said that there was not other leaks. They then said ford wont add a warranty because of the year even though ive barely driven it cause its gone back. But an exception can be made to add it after the fact if i wanna pay 3k cash up front or 160 a month for 18 months, due to the contract already being signed. Now today my blind spot sensor is acting up and the camera. Be weary about buying here and have the vehicle looked at by a mechanic. I will say my salesman was amazing to deal with and did everything in his power to help me out. Will update the review if anything changes or gets better.

I went to Quirk today with the expectation that I was just looking. I bought my first new car today. Colby and Rune made my first car buying experience absolutely amazing. I was super nervous about the entire thing but the guys there were so relaxed and easygoing and I LOVED every second of it. I'd absolutely recommend buying from Quirk. Thank you Colby!!
