Scammed by Copp towing Service – Beware! I want to warn everyone about Ray’s Truck Service. The bridge officer called them to tow my truck — I didn’t even call the company myself. The distance was less than half a mile, yet they charged me $1,000! That’s a complete scam.
No one should be charged that much for such a short tow. This company clearly takes advantage of people who are in tough situations. I would never recommend them to anyone. Be very careful before doing business with copp towing Service — they are not honest or fair in their pricing.
Ironic they would complain about the traffic witnessed these fools driving on the wrong side of the road w full size semi and no a roundabout won't help because mainers don't signal when exiting
I went in to get an inspection done. Ron that was there didn’t treat me with a disability well, and that he wouldn’t get me a sticker because of a tire pressure light. It is to the best of my knowledge that this isn’t required in the state of Maine inspections. He told me he could even show me in the manual. He never did and turned me away, even though I’m one to work with people in a civil way. If you want to get car inspections done, please go somewhere else that is honest with their work. I support local family owned business but of people that treat others right, including those with disabilities. Avoid this place at all costs to spare yourself from the bad experience I got. I wouldn’t write this bad review if he just resolved it with me in person.
This guy is at the top of my list anytime I need a job done near Portland. Im a shipping container reseller and I had another company scheduled to meet me to move 20’ containers to my customers spot that was too small for my truck and trailer to maneuver. It was all planned out with pictures and the address days ahead of time. Guy shows up has NO IDEA what he’s doing, is rude, and tells me he can’t do it and leaves. Now I have a customer in a major bind and I’m scrambling last minute to figure this out. I call Copp motors and he picks right up, gives me a quote, shows up less than 10 mins after I call, looks at the job, and banged it out like it was nothing. He even offered to straighten them out and went the extra mile for a very small additional fee. Customer was so happy and I booked another job with him because of how great a job Copp did for me at the last minute when I needed to get the job done. Super professional and fair. I will be calling him when the next job is ready and NO ONE ELSE. If you see this, thank you again so much! You made my day
They didn't tell me the towing price until I arrived at their parking lot. The man who helped me on the phone was very rude. I honestly don't recommend these people.

Horrible customer service experience; extremely rude over the phone. They have zero interest in helping or showing compassion for others and definitely do NOT offer 24 hour towing despite saying so. Steer clear if you need towing services and want to be treated well - go with ABC or Southern Maine Towing instead.
Absolute worst experience. "Ronnie" was doing an inspection on my truck and had absolutely no idea what to look for. My diesel truck isn't deleted but thought that a lift pump meant "it had something done to it" absolute tard.
We needed a tow and repair. They helped us with both immediately and we were back on the road within an hour. Fantastic service! Great Price! Highly reccomend!!!!
Copp Motor's is an amazing place to work with! Everyone I worked with there was so helpful and kind. It was the smoothest process to buy my truck from them. 100% would recommend them.
Ron helped us on Christmas eve. He was super helpful and even stopped at the gas station afterwards to make sure we could find the air hose. He really cares and provides excellent service!
They have been servicing my vehicles for various issues for over 20 years now. They have always gone the extra mile to make it right. Their honesty is amazing-if they can't do something or are too busy they tell you, if they can- they exceed expectations.. It's hard to find reliable local dealers, however, Copp Motors has never let me down.
Broke down in a snowstorm on the turnpike and Copp Motors was called , so i asked if they could do the repair and they said yes . From the time i broke down to the time i was driving away all repaired was 2hrs ! Wow ! Ya 2hrs. Towed to shop and repair completed 2hrs during a snowstorm is incredible ! Very Helpful! Blew out a tire late at night on the highway and they responded very quickly and even gave me a replacement full size to let me get ho.e on!
Ron is the best! He is honest and has saved me a lot of money. Another business nearby has suggested more than once that I need expensive services, and when I brought my car to Ron for his opinion, he has done the work that was necessary, and assured me that the other work that was suggested by the other company was not necessary. I trust Ron's opinion and feel confident everytime I go to him.
This dealer and I made a deal on a truck. Then decided to change the deal and screw me out of $1500 worth of extras that I was paying for. BUYER BEWARE. They are shifty.
