the log yard rips. high school kids working there are hella nice. he made my swirl cone too big, so he just turned it over into a dish instead of making it smaller. so sick.
Excellent custard: smooth and creamy. Small selection of flavors, but they are always great, so the limited options don’t become a problem. (They also offer a few soft serve varieties).
Love coming here to get a sweet treat - it changes weekly so you can always try something new! What I really want to highlight is not just the custard, but the quality of customer service in their employees - every time I come here, they are always smiling and friendly. Yesterday, specifically, it was extremely busy, a lot of people were waiting for their order and to place their order. The young woman was very organized, calm, and kept a smile on her face despite how busy she was. Kudos!
First time being here ! When we pulled up it was already a line indicating this was going to be so fire!!! And indeed it was!! I got the black raspberry soft serve ..it was creamy, light and delicious! Also a medium for $5 how can you beat that?? I love it!

The most delicious frozen custard, ever. Just go for vanilla or cream, but other flavours delicious, too. Stop every time we go to Maine. So pleased it was open earlier in May than usual. Staff courteous and friendly.

Seriously good custard. I've heard it said that it should be a crime to drive through Poland and not stop here. Make a trip from 25 min away for some custard and it was well worth it.
We were pleasantly surprised with the incredible flavors of frozen custard here. I had the coffee with toffee & oreos. It was superb! Everyone absolutely raved about theirs too! Would highly recommend this little place.
INSANE! This right here is a dairy bar that doesn't play around. The custard is THE truth. That sweet cream hit right after an excellent steak at Mac's, let me tell you! Fluffy consistency, melts like butter. The sweet, creamy flavor. 10/10 perfect
Also being a huge black raspberry fan, I had to try the soft serve. What a fantastic flavor, one of the best black raspberry I've had in a while. Would be great mixed WITH the custard.. just sayin'!
Friendly staff, fair prices. I was in and out in less than 5 min. Saw them get a huge rush finished in less than 15 min. They run a great business here. Needless to say, I'll be back. Thank you!!
5/2024 - Always a great experience when we go to the Log Yard. Social Media continues to be fun and updated. Service behind the counter is friendly. Parking lot has plenty of room. There's an outdoor seating area if there's good weather. If you have never experienced frozen custard, you need to head over to Log Yard!
First timer since the switch over and totally impressed! There is a focus on the quality versus the quantity of flavors. Good parking. Ample space to sit down to enjoy cup of deliciousness.

By far the finest custard I've ever had, and I grew up licking, biting big bits, of custard in Western PA. If you haven't tried custard, go there and try some. Once eating custard you'll not go back to ice cream.
Really great and creative flavors, my family and I come almost every week. The salted caramel turtle sundae was really good, as was the cookie monster flavor, and strawberry with hot fudge. Their hot fudge is perfect!!
The most delicious treat in southern Maine! ❤️ I love the the flavors change (all of which have been amazing) and always are unique and well made. This is a small family owned business who treats their customers and community well and their staff is sweet as can be. I can’t think of enough good things to say about this place, just go see for yourself!
Approached the order window and received an eye roll from the young woman who waited on me. Frozen custard was tasty but didn’t exactly feel welcome as a first time customer.
Pulled in on a whim and they had exactly what I was craving. Peanut butter cup ‘Mix-in’. Vanilla soft serve was silky and smooth! Plenty of parking and large outdoor sitting area.
Probably the best Ice cream I’ve ever had! It’s so smooth and creamy. They offer tons of toppings and mix ins. The folks are always super friendly as well. I highly recommend you check the Log Yard Dairy Bar out.
