Had to reschedule four different times to have my vehicle picked up then I had a different time where I was waiting for somebody to come with a winch and after driving past my house for 20 minutes he called me and made up an imaginary story that he had gotten stuck I walked the quarter of the mile that my driveway is in lo and behold there was no one there) told me straight up he wasn't going to help me until I had my driveway plowed totally unprofessional rude people. The third time when they came to pick up my vehicle the guy was in Sumner Maine and wanted me to drive an hour to go and meet him and show him where I live then when I drove 10 minutes down to the end of the street the people didn't even compensate me for my time or my gas as I sat there like an idiot and listen to this guy tell me about how he went to the wrong town...totally unprofessional.
I ended up in a ditch after hitting slush after a big snow storm. I called another tow company first and they were going to take over an hour to get to me and charge me $700+. I called and spoke with Bryan, he got to me in less than 20 minutes and charged me nowhere near what I was quoted from the previous company. He took pictures and sent me everything I needed for my insurance company, made sure to look around my car to assess for any damage, and got my car out no problem. He was so friendly, professional, and quick service which I so appreciated considering how cold it’s been. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience given the situation.
Chris was a really great guy -- Southern Maine Towing didn't want to risk liability getting my truck off of our house (a stolen car crashed it into the apartment) but these guys did it no problem, no fancy equipment. Drove an hour to help me, hour back, even offered to in the evening but we decided to wait until morning. Really grateful for the easy process. Thanks so much.

Used them through geico roadside. After errors and poor GPS signal the driver was canceled. But he still came out after calling my insurance as well as myself trying to fix my location. they canceled it, he still came out, found me from my poor directions in the middle of no whereand very quickly fixed my tire in the freezing cold.
The fellow who towed my car was super friendly, and did an amazing job of squeezing between things to get the vehicle into my garage. In an addition, helped me push it the rest of the way. High marks for this company!
I recently required towing for two automobiles and a set of tire replacement services for one of those vehicles. From the initial call Bryan was very professional, knowledgeable, respectful, direct and courteous. When his teammate PJ showed up with the tow truck I was treated the same way.
During the process of the tire replacement the team noticed that my exhaust needed some maintenance as my muffler was hanging and needed some wielding. Informed me that they can and did some work to it that will get me through the winter so that I can address it accordingly at a later time.
All services rendered and completed in less than 24 hours. When I was informed that my vehicle was ready to be picked up in a text message I called and informed Bryan that I will be riding my bicycle over to drive vehicle home; this was yesterday evening Friday December the 5th, frigid weather. Bryan informed me it was too cold for that and offered to pick me up from my home. He did this out of the kindness of his heart. The whole experience reminded me that there are still Good People providing Great Services out here in this world we live.

Thankfully I have roadside assistance. Don's Towing took the request for a tow and I had a great experience dealing with Bryan. Had to be towed ,while in Auburn, to gets parts from a dealership for my truck. Being nearly 4 hours away from my lodge during hunting season, I was stranded when my Truck had a front hub bearing failure. Dons towed my vehicle to their shop and within 24hours had me back on the road. I couldn't ask for a friendlier group of people for service. Highly recommend this business.
Brian was wonderful. He was willing to drive from 2 hours away to rescue us when our rental car malfunctioned. He then drove us 2 hours to the Portland Maine airport where we could get a replacement car from Budget. The gentleman that came to help tow my husband’s truck was so nice! I wish I had gotten his name, but he said he was an EMT, so whoever is paying him, make sure he knows he is amazing! He was at my house very quickly, I was told 40 minutes and he was there within 30. He was so helpful, respectful, and I could tell he really does care about his job and the people he helps! These guys are amazing!!!!! 5 other companies couldn't help us. The last company I called suggested calling Don's. They showed up that day. We had a mini van stuck in an underground garage with restricted head room. It was an abandoned vehicle, without a title or keys, and it was around 2 corners. They couldn't fit the tow truck in the garage, and they still got it out. It was pretty neat how they did it. This was for the property management company I work for. Don's in now our go-to company. We highly recommend these guys!!!!!
After a great day on the motorcycle we broke down 12 miles from home. Thankfully we have roadside assistance. Don’s Towing took the request for a tow. We were surprised to find out a lot of tow companies don’t like dealing with bikes. Don’s Towing had no problem with it. Communication was great. Bryan came a ways on a Friday night. Drove to the gas station with the race car then it wouldn’t start. Worked in the parking lot for hours trying to troubleshoot. Finally decided to call Don. He was very kind, calm and quick. He was hooking my car up not even 20 minutes later (after he so kindly tried trouble shooting him self) Treated my car with great care. Will definitely use this company for any future towing needs.
I have never had a better towing experience! My husband and I broke down with a truck and a horse trailer in a sketchy spot. Brian was there SO quickly to get us, the truck, and the trailer safely off the road and to our mechanic. Brian even went out of his way to get us and the trailer back to our house after dropping the truck off because he is so nice. A really genuine guy running his family business, hard to come by these days. I couldn’t recommend his services more, 10 stars!!!
I had a tire blow right off on the highway leaving me stranded. These guys were thorough and even found the tire! They communicated really well the entire time and even let me know if I got a ridiculous quote on tires that they would help me out. Hands down recommend.
Brian was quick to get to us after an issue with the tire, and got us to our shop quickly (15-20 minutes from the call) the ride was pleasant and can't recommend this service enough. Family owned and open 24/7 is also great. Definitely would use again (although I hope we don't have to!)

Very good communication. When the driver was going to be delayed because so many calls were coming in due to the storm he called to update me on his ETA and kept me up to date when he was finally close by. Honest and great customer service! And he got it out of the ditch without further damage.
despite being very busy they were able to fit me in very quick and i had the pleasure to have Bryan who runs the place. He was very genuine, hard working and even helped me save some money. The guy deserves all the business he gets and more, hard to find such honest family ran businesses nowadays and im glad to support and recommend them! Not to mention my car is low to the ground and it was no issue for him!
Very prompt and good service. I broke down with my work truck and trailer and luckily he was able to get off of the turnpike, I was referred to Bryan, owner of Don's towing. I was lucky I was because he had the setup to be able to move my work truck, my trailer, and me and my dogs all at one move. Very safe and very good and clean equipment. Very responsive to other customers, the guy is never off the clock. I would recommend for anyone that's in a bind with a need of on-road service or even just auto calls or moving items from point A to point B. Nice to see your family business staying alive after several decades and staying in the family.
