Very pleased! We just moved here from Florida and let me just say, we Found our new mechanic shop.
These guys are the best! The service engine light lit up on my Chevy Tahoe and it sounded like an airplane. it was so loud. Even when I turned the engine off, it sounded as if it were still running. I stopped in and was greeted by Brian and Mark.
Explained what was going on and they stopped
what they were doing to come take a look. Immediately after popping the hood and checking coolant, they said you may have a faulty thermostat. I left it there for them to figure it out. 2 hours later I get the call, and sure enough it was a bad thermostat. They quoted me a very reasonable price and even had it fixed the next day. Picked it up and no more engine light and it’s quite like it should be.
Guys if you need a mechanic this is the place!!! Not many people would have stoped what they were doing to come take a look right away. Not to mention they were packed with cars. They even told me they were extremely busy but they would fit me in. Great job guys! You’ve earned my family’s business on all of our vehicles.

I had a #1 cylinder misfire code. Brian checked a few other things, on a hunch, and it was a fouled plug. He went above and beyond in helping me out!

Upon arrival for Thanksgiving, our out of town family member noticed a “check engine” alert. Understandably anxious we called Brannigan’s for help realizing this was a busy time. Though he was backed up for two weeks, he told us to drop the car off and he would get to it when he could. We arrived just when he did.He went right to work and solved our problem real time. He explained the cause of the problem, what to do in future what to worry about and what not to worry about should similar problem arise. I’m not sure I have ever been treated so well. Needless to say, we are going to transfer all our business going forward.
While traveling home, several warning lights appeared on my husband’s dashboard. We were not familiar with the area so naturally I used google to find a car care place. I found, “ Brannigan’s Car Care” in Madisonville, LA. The gentleman that helped my husband stopped everything to help, was very knowledgeable and within a few minutes diagnosed and fixed our problem. I can’t believe places like that still exist! Madisonville, you have a real Gem in your town!

Professional service. The gentleman I worked with (I believe his name was Julian) did my inspection & he was quick, thorough and kind! Highly recommend if you need an inspection sticker. We will be back!

Had a blinker bulb going out and I could not replace it myself. I pulled in and they replaced both front and back bulbs immediately and at no charge! I was only there about 15 minutes as well! Could not recommend more highly. Their service is above and beyond!

Mark at Brannigan’s is a heck of a guy! Good Samaritan status! I got a low tire pressure message near this shop and pulled in to find a pretty flat tire. They tried to fill it, but it was losing air too fast for me to drive anywhere. They don’t sell tires, but Mark put my spare on for me and wouldn’t take payment. I lucked out pulling into this place! Thank you, Mark!
Do honest Auto mechanics exist?
I stopped believing that for a long time until I went to Brannigan’s. Was told I needed an AC compressor it was gonna be $2000 from one Mechanic

$ 200. True story . I will never go anywhere else

Such a great place! They are very honest and will treat you fair. My truck had a rough-start issue and they found that I needed a new fuse box (not uncommon for my truck), which of course was on back order. The owner let me borrow his temporary-fix tool so that I could get my truck back home while I wait on the part to get in stock. Saved me the cost of a tow! Now, what auto shop do you know would do that?!?
P.S. - I have returned his tool with much appreciation! :)
We went here to have a tail light replaced, and while it is hard to get in, it is very well worth it! Just be sure to make an appointment to accommodate both parties and they take great care of you.
They were very open and transparent on pricing and what would be needed and even guided us on the most cost efficient way for our repair!
They replaced a full tail light kit that was busted on our Scion and got a new brake tag in the process in under thirty minutes.

Mark was very helpful and kind when I had a flat tire. Even though they do not do tire work he graciously took off my spare and changed out my tire for me. I'll be doing business with them again for sure.
These guys are awesome. They give you all the info you need to make an informed decision and the prices are reasonable. I had them install new front wheel bearings and a rebuilt rear end in my truck. On the test drive after installing everything they noticed that the rear end wasn't performing perfectly (no fault of theirs, manufacture defect) so they ordered another one and made it perfect. Truck drives great and it's good to know there are mechanics with not only skill but integrity. I will use them for all my future automotive needs. Highly recommend!
Brian and Mark are always so helpful and honest about what is needed. I couldn't imagine taking my car anywhere else. They have kept my 2011 with 217k miles running like new for me.

We've been gone to Brannigan's since we moved to the area over 4 years ago and they are the absolute best! They are the most honest and reasonably priced always checking our cars to be sure fluids are good without us even asking. Always have time when ever we've stopped by for something minor. We moved from Madisonville and we will continue to make the trip when we need something with our cars. Love them and wouldn't go any other place!
Last week I was having problems with starting my vehicle. Thec mechanic checked it out and determined it was the battery. They could have easily sold me a new one on the spot but instead dug deeper. Mechanic said it was an AutoZone battery, called over there and asked them to look it up to see if it was under warranty, which it was. I was able to go get a replacement at no cost. Brannigan's put the customer needs first and I was very pleased with the honest service.
