Absolutely laughable, 5 times I tried to call them - no luck. They do not pick up phones, do not resond over email and even on Facebook - crickets, message about part availability sits unanswered since March. Local managements needs to be fired.
I stopped by on a Friday morning, kimberly was very helpful, picked up my part same afternoon!! Part worked fine!! Ordering more parts Monday morning!!
Do NOT buy from them! They sold me a Grade A transmission for $3000 only to receive it in poor condition and then it doesn’t work! Metal all in the fluid. Some guy from Kansas denied my warranty claim with less than 10 seconds of information. So now I’m out 3 grand and still have a broke car
Went in person getting pricing and information on engine types for my Dodge 1500 truck. I must say that person on front counter was friendly, responsive, and helpful. I got the information I was seeking.

I posted a negative review based on an accurate experience, and the company responded saying to contact them. I did, and the sales rep help me set up a return and exchange, buuuuuuuut...although the part they sent me had some small scratches on it, it was the bizarre fact that it had large orange numbers written on it--with an orange paint pen--on a visible part of the car part which sits just below the passenger window on the sideview mirror mount! I used a sharpie to hide it, but this won't last.
They did give me another part after I posted, it was absurdly written on with large orange paint numbers and scratched up...
But, they did help me as they said they would from their review response.
Very unusual, not sure what to say about this company other than probably avoid it, sorry guys!

Avoid this company. They sent me the wrong part-a left hand side you mirror instead of the right side that I ordered. They refused to do the exchange citing their 30-day return policy, even though it was not a return but an exchange for the correct part. But even more importantly the side view mirror was scratched and chipped extensively like it had been in a bag with rocks. Unreasonable inflexible companies don't deserve to survive.
Quality & fast service . Order parts for my sons car & they advised they would be coming from Port Allen & we picked up today in Livingston ! Thank u guys
I've only had two experiences there but unfortunately they were both horrible. My advice is just don't go there unless you really need to. I found the staff to be a little rude.
Bad experience purchasing a factory rebuilt transmission from LKQ. I paid the full price quoted and at time of payment while standing at the pay counter was told I would get back$395.00 dollars when I brought in my old transmission along with their nice plastic delivery box. When I brought back the core they said I was due nothing. LKQ made their sale though, guess thats what they wanted. Not a good way to do business. Good luck if they promise you something.
Not gonna be accepting any more deliveries for this company. Loaded my reefer van and they left it soaked in oil. The forklift driver tried to cover it up but we saw it leaking through the floor boards. Not going back.
Just paid over $2,100 for 2007 transmission and another $600 for labor . And transmission went completely out in the middle of the Hwy . Very embarrassing and inconvenient. Paid another $200 to get the vehicle towed to shop. This is not a good look on this company. Calling tomorrow asap to get a claim in for refund. I WILL KEEP CUSTOMERS IN FORMED ON HOW THIS PLAY OUT .
Next time when you tell people there part is going to come in on Tuesday I would suggest you stick by what you tell people. I'm surprized yall even get buisness at all. The Place should be shut down. And now I have to wait for a refund becouse you people don't know how to value customers
If you don't need your part(s) in a timely manner, this is the place to go! Ordered part on Friday morning, was told it would be in Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning at the latest. Called Wednesday afternoon, was then told to call back Thursday morning around 9. I guess keeping their own time schedule or word isn't that important to them.
This has to be the worst company to rely on for parts if you're in the body shop business. Called to order parts for a vehicle and was told it would be deliver by Friday. Friday came and parts never show up. Called in and was told parts were damaged and couldn't be deliver. Order parts for another build and was told parts would be deliver by Tuesday. Tuesday came and pass and again, no parts. I have had it with these people. NEVER AGAIN!
Pricing is usually fine 90% of the time I get on time the thing that gets me the most is getting someone on the phone it is very hard even if you leave a message I own a shop and have 6 different numbers to call and can spend an hour calling them over and over the #'s go to people that there job is to take orders over the phone it burns me up but there is no one else to call that are nation wide
They claim to have the best automotive warranty in the business until you go to make a claim. I bought an engine, something turned out to be wrong with the head, so instead of pulling the whole thing I requested to get a new head, within the warranty period, and they then refused to honor their claim.
I ordered my part online and chose to pick it up 2 days later, when i arrived the salesman( very willing to help, very nice)informed me that the part was lost. I wasn't going to make the 80 mile round trip again, so they were going to deliver it to me. Two days later they delivered the wrong part, i had to wait the weekend to contact them to get a return and replacement. They picked up the part in the middle of the week. Here i am on the following weekend without the replacement and without communication from LKQ, I am very much rethinking my purchase from them and doing business with them in the future is highly unlikely.
UPDATE: After calling for two more days finally they had my part, or so they thought. It turned out to be wrong yet again. They had the genius idea of taking another look at my vehicle's vin. Now they are on track, found the correct part within seconds (+2 weeks) then they wanted me to pay for this part again since i ordered the first one online, it took the rest of the evening trying to straighten that up.
I ordered the part from here and a week an a half later, no phone call saying it was in. I called the place and the guy said my part that I have ordered was deleted for no reason and I have to reorder it. The sales representative suck. He tolded me that I was going to have to call them to find out if it came in or not. Do not order from ever.
Service is awful, prices are through the roof...they have a lot of parts but they don't seem to understand the common Louisiana man. I would rather drive across the river from Denham to get my parts than step foot on their property. They just seem to take themselves way too seriously...like they're the Wal mart of auto salvages. Me personally, I would rather spend my money at a small business that cares about their customers.
