The owners are so friendly at this place you walk in you tell the owner what you need and he can find it. He knows his stuff great people to deal with knowledge is perfect.
I have always enjoyed doing business with the Bankston family. Always been a wealth of knowledge especially STIHL brand products. I get my tires plugged, patched or replaced here. They still send young men out to pump your gas, and check fluids if need be. The only place I know where you can get off road diesel. That helps me buying fuel for a dozer and excavator. Great family Great business.
This place is the eye sore in Albany they never buy nothing neworpaint the place ever time it rains the oil runs in the streets and they don't care all the banks on are trash the health department needs to Sept in about the oil in the ditch that there don't care about
This place is the nasty place in Albany the town needs to shut them down the charges so high you must be stupid to buy for them Banks on is the worst name around
I will say that after years of going here I've finally seen a shift that has caused this place to go down hill.
I had a tractor tire repaired here but after the repair the bead was leaking so badly you had to air it up twice a day. So I brought it back up to Bankstons. After sitting there for 3 hours watching person after person come in and out I left with tire just as I'd brought it in. When I got there there was 1 person ahead of me. This is the 3rd tire and the last.
Chris is a great guy. He has helped me for years in choosing the weed eater or chain saw for my personal needs. Besides, he carries the best equipment, Stihl chainsaws blowers, and string trimmers.
Best place and the nicest people there to help. We had a flat on our way from Texas to Florida. So blessed to have been near this shop. They got us repaired quickly and on our way. Thank you Bankston!!!
Best prices you'll find anywhere. Maybe on Amazon but will they provide you the customer service Chris or David will? HELL NO!! Neither will anybody else!! Buy all your Stihl equipment here. I highly recommend Bankston Auto Parts for your lawncare/logging needs!!
After a trip to the dealership that purchased my car from, I became extremely unhappy with my "rotate and balance" causing a vibrate that was not previously noticed. I asked for it to be done with an alignment.
When I arrived to Bankston Auto, I was greeted by someone who pointed me in the right direction. My tires were finally balanced and I was shown proof that this had not been done recently.
Very happy with the service received and friendly staff.

Store has been apart of our little towns for as long as I can remember. Only place I know that still has full service which is great when I have the grandchildren.
They are always so helpful and go the extra mile. I have never been there that everyone did not speak with a hello or how ya been. They are the best at fixing my broke junk.
David is Awesome, Chris is ok, but the lady at the counter is very rude and doesn't know how to treat customers. deal with david or maybe chris if at all possible. beware.
Always a great place to stop if you need anything dealing with anything from weed eaters to chainsaws to blowers. Family has been using them for years and they have always pulled through for us.
