Today I witnessed a sales associate be completely disrespectful. The customer came in to the store to purchase a park for his breaks. The customer came into the store and the sales rep told the man .. hey man look how you came in here yoiu almost hit my co worker. you have to watch how your driving. The said man look at your coworker block the parking spaces I couldn't get in and I'm here for a part. The worker began to try to correct the man awhen it had nothing to do. They yelled at the man and it was walking up top the customer to fight the man. the staff was horrible! I wont come back to shop here. the staff is too " common" They wouldn't provide the headquaters phone number but somthing needs to be done. None of them had customer service skills. People were in the store afriad beacuse he really triggered the man and would not back down. The cashier cause all of this and she never pick with a customer in this way.
My local Advance auto parts has been my go to for auto parts for 20 years now. Reasonable prices, available variety of quality parts and usually helpful services.
I had bought a Slime pump to inflate my tire while at the store. After pumping 1 tire for less than 5 minute, the pump died. The sales person knew immediately that the fuse blew a blamed it on me and would not return or exchange the pump. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NO HONOR ANY RETURN OR EXCHANGES.
Terrible customer service, staff is rarely knowledgeable about anything you need. On several occasions were unable to assist with parts nor were able to explain how some of their rental tools work. Most recently, walked in a little before closing just to grab a single swivel socket that would have taken 30 seconds and I was turned away, after being let in by an employee, when a person behind the counter said they were closed. Do yourself a favor and go to an Auto Zone or O'Reilly.
Nice store. Normally get parts from there. Recently however had a bad experience. I bought $100 worth of parts that were electrical components and ended up not needing them. Didnt even open them and tried to return them and they wouldn't let me. I know that's probably a corporate policy but I think that's ridiculous and if they haven't even been opened they should be allowed to be returned. Other than that this location is very good. When I called to ask if they had the parts the man I spoke to was very helpful and even pulled the parts out and set them aside for when I got there.
Now this is One auto part store where a woman goes who knows nothing and I get an education, I get good service, and if my vehicle is there and a service person of Advance Auto will put on my wiper blades or whatever it is I am buying. I've never been disappointed. I've never been lead astray. I find all the people in advance auto so courteous, so willing to help.
Was given the wrong parts and the gentleman I was dealing with was so sorry that I had to make multiple trips, he was very helpful and accidents happen. Great service overall.
