I went to the auto zone on general myers twice about my battery they kept telling me my battery was good so I can to the location 3014 and Mel and Roxanne took care of me right away trun out I need a battery which was still under warranty I live down the street from the store on general Myers I will tell all my family and friends if they want good service and friendly people come to 3014 Laplco because this is were i will becoming from now on Thanks Mel you made my day 😊 ☺️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mal Johnson: An Absolute Lifesaver! I cannot recommend Mal Johnson enough! Seriously, if you need help, ask for Mal. My battery died unexpectedly, and I was sure I needed a whole new battery and an expensive tow. I limped my car into the AutoZone parking lot, and Mal was outside running errands. They immediately stopped what they were doing and came over to help. Mal didn't just try to sell me a battery; they took the time to run the free battery and alternator test right there in the parking lot. They quickly diagnosed the issue—it was a failing alternator, not the battery itself! Mal clearly explained what was happening, showed me the exact parts I needed on the shelf, and gave me great advice on how to handle the replacement. Mal’s combination of deep technical knowledge and genuine, friendly customer service is rare. They saved me money, time, and the headache of a misdiagnosis. Went into this location to purchase a battery for my 2023 Mazda3 and asked the clerk if they could install the AGM battery I planned on purchasing, he paused and thought about it and then said NO! I’ve had several batteries installed at AutoZone in my lifetime if I purchase it there! Left AutoZone, went to Advanced Auto and found the friendliest person to assist me with no hesitation! I am now a loyal customer of Advanced Auto! Going delete my AutoZone App right now!

People have become so lazy but expect a pay check! They can’t even get up and go out and check with their little machine why the check engine light is on for a 70 yr old lady! What is this world coming to? Don’t bother going here if you need them to get up to help you!!!

I needed a few things and the Spanish guy helping around was hard working and for everything that I asked for he walked me to the item. Small gesture but I was short on time and he assisted me well with my needs. The more experienced workers have been showing good services and teaching their apprentices how they should do their best. When I called before hand the same gentleman helped me know what I needed before I got there.

I went to the AutoZone on Lapalco Blvd, near Belle Chase Hwy because the battery (which was still under warranty) in my truck would not hold a charge and I needed to call roadside assistance several times. The young lady that assisted me verified that the battery was indeed still under warranty. She checked her inventory for a replacement, but didn't have that particular battery in stock. She determined that several stores within 10 miles had the battery in stock, but I couldn't get the truck started because of the battery. She did some research and determined that there was an older battery that was compatible with the make, model, year of my truck and was actually stronger than the battery I had. She prepped the new battery, removed my old battery and stayed with me, in the rain, until she was sure that I was able to start my truck. He dedication to Customer Service made what started out a dreary, stormy day into a reason to sing a little louder than usual and run errands regardless of the rain!

06AUG22 ~ This AutoZone needs a management shakeup! The people employed there are not invested in being AutoZone employees. I knew what I wanted, Amazing GOOP, & I knew AutoZone carried it, from the website. There were at least a half dozen employees on duty but none of them even knew what Amazing GOOP was or where it might be located. I described what it looked like & that it was a flexible adhesive. One guy tried to direct me to the fuel additives section near the entry door. One young woman, the only one there that was both pleasant & attempted to be helpful, asked me if it was a 'spray'. I eventually found the Amazing GOOP on my own. It was the last one on the rack; you should order more. When I went to the front to check out there was only one guy working the entire front area, and he was looking up parts on the checkout cash register station. There were seven people in line, four for help with parts, and three of us with items in our hands we were trying to buy. Unfortunately, the cash register station was occupied by the only guy working the front area & he spent the next twenty minutes dinking on the computer showing different parts to the customer in front of me. I eventually set the Amazing GOOP down next to computer and said that I was going to another store that wanted my business & I left. Use this information as you see fit... A Year Earlier ~ Still a One Star Review I knew what I wanted and where it was located so I was in front of the cash register to checkout quickly. Before anyone even acknowledged my presence there were five other people lined up behind me to checkout. There were at least four other employees there, that I could see, and several walked right by me and/or right by the cash register where I was waiting. Not one looked at me, spoke to me, and even acknowledged my existence. One of them, a heavy set woman, was apparently 'the manager'. She walked up to or walked by the cash register three different times and it was as if I, and ,later, those behind me were invisible. Terribly rude and unprofessional. Terrible customer service.

Horrible. The staff was unable to help with questions on a trailer hub. Everyone was rude. Manager pulled the person from helping me to help her look for something that she could not find for a customer that walked in 10 minutes after me. Goto Oriellys.

This is the store with the best manager! The location is good, and the prices are low. The manager called 2 other stores to track down my part, then he came and looked under my hood to identify a vacuum hose that was cracked. When you enter this store, seek the gentleman with the gray shirt on. Great customer service!

I went to this store to inquire if I could get some assistance with replacing my headlight. The store manager, Giovanni, asked me to open the hood and had my headlight replaced in less than five minutes. I really appreciated that! That's great customer service!!!!!

Were pretty slow to help and seemed they didn't want to by bothered. They didn't have the battery we needed and had to go to store in Expressway next to Walgreens in front of Academy. They were much more helpful and had what we needed. Sol helped us and was very professional.
