But the manager contacted us & went above & beyond to make things right. He took the extra days off of our bill & even gave us a discount. We will be customers for life
This is a different type of review. I was driving from FL to TX and going through LA. I didn't realize the state had soany bridges (which I have fear of). I came to a specific bridge in Lale Charles in which I just froze, haf to reverse and had a 1st time ever panic attack. After 2 hours of just sitting in my car wondering how I was going to move I decided to call Elite service recovery & towing and a very sweet lady answered the phone. I explained the situation and asked if my car could be towed over the bridge in which she said yes, but because the wait time would be around 2 hours she also gave me an alternate route explaining exactly what I needed to do to avoid that awful bridge. I was able to follow it and I am finally in Texas. Ma'am I do not remember your name, but thank you for helping me, for being so kind. If you only new the positive impact it has had on me, I can definitely say I believe God sends his Angels when you most need them, and for me that was you. Thank you again.
Elite Towing will get your vehicle where it needs to go — but expect to pay up to 3x the normal rate. My 40-mile tow bill for a 24’ Class C RV (under 12,000 lbs) came to $1,560.
They produced a transcript showing they told me the cost upfront, but it felt engineered to protect them, not me. Even though I specifically asked the drivers to air up my new Michelin Agilis tires, they didn’t. Later they claimed the tires were in poor condition — completely false.
They disconnected the driveshaft (which is necessary on my rig) but didn’t reinstall it. Instead, they shoved it inside my RV door so I had to move it just to get inside. When I called to question this, I was told they’re “not mechanics” and sounded very dismissive — frankly, I got the impression they thought I wouldn’t push back because I’m a woman.
They also only accept credit cards and charge a 4% fee, refusing other payment options. My invoice showed 5 x $300 = $1,500 (plus fee), but the time of service was only 3.5 hours. They wouldn’t give an invoice unless I requested it, claiming their payment processor “just doesn’t do that.”
When I asked about using a smaller truck (my rig is far lighter than a semi), I was told only their heavy wrecker would work. They stood by everything, never acknowledging any overcharge or incomplete service.
If you use them, get everything in writing, expect a very high bill, and don’t expect much customer service after they have your money.
Really needed their help and they pulled through. Other towing companies didn't really put in any effort and were not equipped. A very friendly staff and kept me updated on what was going on. Handled my vehicle with care and that was really appreciated!
Both Anson (I know that probably isn’t right) on the phone and Maverick in person, were delightful to deal with. I’ve saved your number, and should I ever need help again, you’re my first call. The price was higher than I expected, but then I’ve never had my vehicle towed before.
I cannot brag enough about the excellent service these guys provided. They responded quickly when I got my lift stuck at a job site. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally. David, the operator, was incredibly kind and helpful. As a contractor, I’ll definitely keep them in mind for future needs
The guy that showed up with the truck was very knowledgeable and friendly and courteous. He was just so helpful and made me feel so much better about getting my sisters handicap van towed. I will definitely be using them again if need be.
Dustin arrived much sooner than I expected, was quick and efficient, careful with my vehicle and our property. He brought it to the dealership quickly. I also received a text that allowed me to track the tow truck which was reassuring. Dustin is such a polite young man, explaining how they billed my insurance directly. We will definitely call them the next time we need a tow!
Had a tire blow off a 6x10 box trailer was on its axle on one side they came out within a hour in terrible weather got us off the highway and to a safe place. Very quick professional and paitent with us and our stress out selves. Would definitely use them again if needed. Highly recommend. Thank you Elite towing!!!!!
David who works for Elite Service Recovery & Towing was very professional and timely! He has decades of experience and managed the load with ease. I had a 55k pound load and the fee is the least expensive that I've heard of or encountered.
Our rather large RV broke down in Lake Charles due to an emissions problem. It had to be towed to a commercial vehicle dealership to be repaired under warranty. I have the RV add on with my AAA membership so I called them. The quote was incredibly high and the membership only covered $500 of it. I told them to hold on the AAA towing until I got competitive quotes. The dealership recommended Elite Towing. I called and was quickly connected with the dispatcher. He was courteous and gave me a reasonable quote, substantially better than AAA. Further he said he could have a tow truck to my location within a half hour. AAA was going to be a couple hours. I gave Elite Towing my approval to go ahead and do the tow. They arrived within the quoted time frame and Eddie the operator immediately began the hook up. He was courteous and informative. Bottom line is Elite did a great job and my RV will be repaired the next day by Martin Truck Sales, the local Freightliner dealer. If you need a tow in the Lake Charles are, Elite is the one you need to call.
Fast & professional. Great care! Had a low to the ground project car that couldn't roll needing to move. Had several others give me the run around and keep me waiting for couple hours/days. Elite came to the rescue, had me fixed up in no time flat! Best people around!

Got a flat on the Tesla when rolling into Orange Texas late on a Friday night and we were 120 miles from home. Teslas don't have a spare which creates a unique set of circumstances. Like finding a tire locally. Tesla was able to connect with thier dispatcher, Aspen and she sent Mike from Elite Towing out on a Saturday morning. The specific tires I needed were not available for three days and Mike was generous enough to call around for the specific tire which could not be found locally. He called 6 places and was able to help me find a comparable tire at Bridgestone in Lake Charles. Mike was a huge help, very patient, polite and took the time to make sure the vehicle was secured with out any damage. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the opportunity to meet Mike. He had nothing but good things to say about Elite Service and recovery. I appreciate you all for helping me and my family out.
Had to move our camper due to not having a big enough truck, not only was the dispatch very helpful and friendly but we were able to get a driver to come within an hour of our call! The driver, Jared I believe his name was, was very efficient and friendly! I would recommend this place hands down! The price wasn’t horrible and I didn’t feel I was being overcharged!
I appreciate all the help & follow up Sarah provided when I called for towing help! Dylan arrived promptly & was professional through out the pick up of my vehicle! He took great care while doing a visual walk around of how he would gain access to the vehicle that was to be picked up. Once the vehicle was loaded& strapped down, he explained paperwork that needed to be completed. Dylan was a great sport about having his picture taken alongside his truck for my preschool class to enjoy for our Community Helper lessons! A BiG thank you to Sarah & Dylan!
The recovery went smoothly for me. I got constant phone updates letting me know how far the tow vehicle was from my location. Mr. David was quick in getting my truck hooked to his tow vehicle. At the repair shop, he was able to transfer my load to another vehicle. This was my first time dealing with Elite Recovery Service. I would highly recommend them for your vehicle recovery.

Great service Bleu showed up was very respectful, and easy to be around. Told me step by step what he wanted to do and took care of everything. I was very impressed with his work and how quick they showed up. I got a text that showed me where they were in route and everything was very easily taken care of. The driver took great care of his equipment truck was clean, straps well organized. I will use them again if I ever need for sure.
