When the dispatcher calls and you tell them to pick your vehicle you are paying your $25 bill over the phone at the moment, and the dispatcher decides not to have any customer service then gets rude,with us , you seem to decide to be unprofessional and come on line to bad mouth your customers to cover for her substandard, inept, and poor work ethic. Look at your comments and think maybe spend less time insulting the general public that try to spend money with you and spend that time training the Team that works for you in the public view. 4/23/25- I needed my husband's truck towed from a local dealership here in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I arrived to the dealership to sign release papers for vehicle to be towed back to my home. Mr. "Johnny" arrived and called me to inform me he was there and where was I? Johnny's tone of voice, smile, friendliness was immediately noticed. At this dealership there was an issue that was unprofessional from the dealership and also from the service guy there. There was no way Johnny (tower) could even get to my vehicle and the staff seemed to not care. I really didn't know what to do. Johnny saw what was going on and begin to let them know that the situation was not right or professional. I was given the keys to see if my vehicle would start up and it did so I had to try and drive it out the space and to the tow truck myself. Why was my vehicle parked in this spot with no access for a tow truck, is crazy to me because they were aware of this 3 days before the vehicle would have to be towed. The day before I informed them that i would be there in the morning to have vehicle towed. Johnny saw what I had to do and begin tell the guy that wasn't right and he begin to tell me that u shouldn't have to do that and I should complain. Now all of this from Johnny he kept a professional non-aggressive tone and smile on his face but he addressed the situation straightforward. Service guy act like he didn't care. Needless to say we got the vehicle back to my home, and Johnny with a "y" lol! Would not take a tip. He had a teenage boy with him, training and mentoring with him on his runs, Johnny's customer service skills and professionalism was AWESOME! I would recommend Johnny everytime. (Bayou Wrecker & Towing. The young teenager that was with him smiled and was friendly as well. I also want to give a shout out to the dispatcher Ms. December for helping me and also being very professional getting all the info she needed to have someone tow my vehicle. The car died so we called them to say we needed how the the car turned back on then the trucker proceeded to stay in the car refusing to leave the vehicle until we gave him cash for basically “waking him up” at 10pm. Predatory business
Upon calling Bayou Wrecker and Towing we were greeted very kindly and were given a great price! Mr. Johnny came out very quickly and was extremely professional and kind. He was able to get us unstuck efficiently and with no issues! He was also very careful with his work! I would definitely recommend Bayou Towing as a number 1 option for towing/wrecker service.
I never had good experience with a wrecker until today! Johnny who came and got the car and dropped it off was more then RAD, he was AWESOME and very, very helpful. We have rented a campervan to travel the States and we got very unfortunate when we got stuck in a muddy lawn while taking a turn. we called a few places around a remote area in Louisiana called Sulphur. We heard about outrageous prices from other towing companies and very poor customer service.
After few failed attempts We called Bayou Towing and spoke to Johnny.
What a legend! Excellent in his communication, funny and made the situation sound light. I was devastated as it was me who was driving the vehicle and Johnny managed to lift our mood.
Very reasonable price too. He arrived at our location within 25 min of the phone call and pulled us out.

Johnny was awesome !!! He showed me that people other than myself can go the extra mile he went over and beyond the call of duty I was stuck for ten hours... my truck was in the worse shape I had ever seen my trucks transmission went to hell and was stuck in reverse along with that i had a trailer hooked on and was stuck at the dock in the heat no air for for literally 10 1/2 hours away and I had a passenger and I was miserable he told me that he borrowed his bosses truck because he could only ride one person
In his truck I promise but he called Me and he was two hours away i and tried everything he could to help me i promise it didn't seem like we waited for two hours ....and he brought me two hours away and was comfortable the whole way .also he offered to take me to my hotel room because my uber wasn't responding and he knew I was tired and hungry and upset about that whole day I'll tell you this i would thank you Johnny and thank you Johnny's boss for your amazing kindnes to give your truck to Johnny to use for my passenger ....Johnny thank you for your services and warm hearted services i definitely use their services again it was and unbelievable and outstanding service that I have ever seen from any wrecker service they definitely stand out from the rest......
I was escorting a load from Baton Rouge, LA to South Texas. The driver dropped the trailer in a gravel turnaround (exit 54) for the night and went to a hotel. The next morning we return to find the trailer sunk to the frame at the landing gear. They called Bayou wrecker to save the day. The response time was minimal. Once on site, they immediately sprung into action getting the trailer back up on solid ground for the driver to get back under the trailer. We were on our way in no time. Excellent job to all involved!!!
I was headed to Texas from Thibodaux with my 4 year old son and dog and had a very bad blow out. I called bayou wrecker and Johnny was very responsive. Came quicker than I was expecting. This company is so unprofessional, it's astounding that they still have any customers. They do a poor job, have no cares for their customers' properties, and have the worst attitudes I've ever seen in my life. Look at how they respond to negative reviews on here for example. Or how they get involved in so much drama on fb. This company is the laughing stock of the town.

Advising others to be aware that this business is content to give awful and unreliable service.
Experience began when Vehicle broke down on a Sunday and reached out for tow service only to have payment accepted immediately. Although no service rendered until two separate attempt were met with several hour wait times. Tow was not done until Monday. After waiting hours the first day, received update that original driver called out was stopped/detained by police so he would not be arriving after waiting several hours. Raising suspicion about the license and credibility of those they entrust to perform the job. Was then told we could “help them out” by paying an extra $100 for another driver. A refund request was met with their $60 fee or the option to reschedule for 9 am on Monday morning. Chose to wait and did so for several hours as estimated arrival time kept changing. Car was moved at 11:40 Monday by a truck bearing the “Atomic Towing” business name. *** In response to the inquiry of whether this was in fact Bayou Towing and not the company Atomic towing, payment was sent to and received by Bayou Towing. Same contact information as listed on Google listing. Why it would eventually be a truck bearing Atomic towing come for the tow is not clear to me, although when trying to utilize this business’s service none of it seemed organized nor legitimate. Happy to see the business observe the review of the experience had.

We had a camper van break down 1.5 hours south of Lake Charles. Bayou Wrecker & Towing had no problem coming out to get us. Johnny was very professional and communicated with us as to his ETA, which we greatly appreciated. He made sure he had the right equipment to handle our van and was there in a timely manner. We highly recommend Bayou Wrecker & Towing. Ask for Johnny, he's fantastic!
Last year I called to get my car towed and ended up waiting nearly 3 hours before calling them to find out they cancelled my tow without bothering to tell me. Then they did it again today. I waited about an hour and 45 minutes before calling and finding out they did it again. Then when I expressed my displeasure they just hung up. Once was a mistake, that’s fine. But twice now?
Broke down 44 miles from home. Bayou Wrecker had the best rate by hundreds of dollars and the quickest response time. It was 6am and my truck was loaded and on its way back to LC by 6:45am. Driver was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 will use for any towing needs in the future.
Mr James came out on a Friday evening and was able to get a Ford Escape into gear and prevent a tow bill. We appreciate what Mr James did for us and will call Bayou Wrecker again in the future. Quoted Fair prices and a pleasure to work with. Thank you James and Bayou Wrecker.
Very cool people. My mothers car battery had died at a gas station. I tried to jump it a couple times with my truck but It didn’t work. She had to go to work so I called. The man came and pulled out his portable jumper and helped me out. Man was cool as hell. I appreciate him for that.
James Leamer was the driver that came and picked up my daughters truck. They are very polite and answer all your questions. And they show up when they say they are instead of you waiting. I work out of town regularly for my job. I was notified that a vehicle I had purchased was stolen from my home and given to a friend of the thief. It took me a few days to make it back to Lake Charles, long story short I found the agency that recovered the vehicle and they told me my car was impounded to Bayou Wreckers, the Cop informed me that all I needed to do was bring a few documents to prove ownership and most likely they would let me leave with vehicle with no charge or a small service charge since my vehicle was stolen. I arrived at Bayou spotted my car and informed them I was there to pick up my car, I realized I didn’t have my bill of sale and due to me having to rush back to Baton Rouge, I had no choice but to leave my car. I was able to make it down to Lake Charles about a week and a half later. I called Bayou explained my situation and asked could they please help me with fees. I just started working back full time and to top it off not only did I receive devastating medical news, the motor is going out on the SUV which is my traveling vehicle. They had ZERO COMPASSION!!! I understand this is a business an it takes money to run it, but they only wanted to see the green Benjamin’s not having any empathy for people out here who are making it the best they can and through no fault of their own has to pay a expensive debt. I made it to LC as soon as I could today, filed a formal theft of motor vehicle report and once again called Bayou saying I needed grand total for towing and she hit me with ITS AFTER 5 and there will be a additional $40 gates fee!!!!! I pleaded to have fee waived but to no avail. $596.86!!!!! Now it’s a civil matter with the thieves and I pray I can recoup most of my money. If you need towing and strapped for cash this is not the business to patronize!!!!!!
They came as soon as they could (about 30 minuet wait). Change my tire fast and it was only $65, but when he needed me to sign my debit card thing on his phone it was $95. When I asked him about it, he very poorly acted like he did it on accident. He changed it on my paperwork as well as he could so my insurance company would reimburse me the amount he actually charged me.
I wouldn’t use them again because they did try to rip me off.
