Had a blowout on I-10. Used google maps to find the nearest tow/wrecker service. They were there within 20 minutes. Changed out my tire and sent me on my way.
We all know that tow companies take a lot of heat for what they do. They deal with people in some of the worst times in life, traffic stops, accidents, parking and so many more. I cannot say enough GOOD things about these folks. I live 5 hours away and got the opportunity to deal with them in on of these times. They were kind and compassionate over several days while we maneuvered thru the process of recovering personal belongings after a tragic accident. They took the time to take many calls and answered many questions over the phone. Rather than just say NO, they explained why they couldn’t just do what I needed to do and offered suggestions and directions to git er done! Thank you for your professionalism and compassion!
After my spare tire gave out on me on my way home from a tire shop, my OnStar sent out a tow truck which was D&R towing. The owner called me to get an exact location, and was extremely respectful and helpful through it all. I received text updates through OnStar about the process and I felt so secured. If I or a friend ever need a towing company, I will for sure recommend and use D&R!
Our minivan turned off on us on the interstate. We were traveling to Texas from Mississippi. This was the second place I called. They came pretty quickly and even dropped my family off at the hotel before heading to the mechanics. James is such a genuine guy. Couldn’t be more grateful! 10/10 recommend!
I was an hour and a half away from home. Had a blow out on side of the interstate 100 yards from the Scott exit. Called AAA. They dispatched this company. After sitting here for an hour they called to inform me they couldn’t change my tire due to safety reasons. Mind you I’m a young woman on side of the busy interstate with a horse trailer full of horses. What about my safety?

I got stranded, called AAA and was REWARDED with the best towing service - bar none - in my 76 years! Our tow truck driver was Mr. Scoobie - he was METICULOUS in loading our Honda and METICULOUS in unloading it at the mechanic shop! I have added D&R Towing to my phone's contacts and to my wife's. My Dad's truck was locked in park at a gas station in Scott on Good Friday. Called AAA and they dispatched D & R Towing. We were given an estimated time of 1 hour. The driver, Diamonte called immediately and was there within 30 minutes. He was very friendly and patient with my dad. He knew exactly what dealership we wanted it taken to and safely took it there. I now have D & R Towing in my phone and will ask for Diamonte. Thank you so much for being so courteous and helpful.
My car got over heated and left me on the side of the road on my sons birthday party day. DNR was very professional and did not charge me unreasonably. My car got towed back to my house and we got it to the mechanic shop. Fast forward mechanic shop didn’t want to work on someone’s previous work so had to get it towed to another mechanic shop. (In lafayette)Called DNR again and Mr James came and met me at the mechanic shop and towed it to the previous mechanic shop for me. He is very kind and nice! Anytime I need towing I will be calling DNR!! Thanks again guys!!
My wife and I were leaving a doctors appointment when we came to our car, that wouldn’t start. We called AAA they quoted an ETA of 1 hour and a half. The driver called within 10 minutes and said he would be there in 15 minutes and he was. My wife needed to get to work I was supposed to take her there after the appointment. It was alone the way to my house where the car was going. The driver had no problem dropping her to her shop. Then took me home. I thanked him for helping us and dropping my wife off then we pointed to their logo which read, “We Treat You Like Family “. And they did. Awesome!!!

Truck broke down with a empty horse trailer attached, call Mr. Dwayne(sorry if misspelled), he showed up quickly and was very friendly. He was able to tow truck but no trailer so he had his shop truck pick it up and towed both to repair shop he waited while truck was looked at, truck wasnt a quick fix, him, his wife and associate were wonderful he towed the truck back to my house over 2hrs away and did not rake me over the coal on price, and also towed the trailer to a location for us to be picked up easily by family, I can not tell u how grateful I am to them, they a great people and I will always be thankful to them they went way beyond what they need to for us, may u be blessed beyond ur wildest dreams for ur kindness to us.

Best prices around bar none! The dispatcher was very helpful, thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions without having to place me on hold and refer to someone else. Our tow truck operator called me personally to let know when he was departing and to get a bit of information from me. I thought that was extremely above what I expected. He handled my car as if it were his own. Very comforting and professional. We will certainly recommend them to our friends and family.
Vehicle broke down the day after Christmas in Kinder. Roadside Assistance sent D&R Towing. Garrick was great. He took his time, secured, and loaded the car on the towtruck. Towed it to Dry Creek, where he unloaded it with the same care and attention. I asked for a way to leave a good review and his assistant gave us his card. Great business. Great people. I run a small automotive shop in Scott. On the day I met Dwayne, the owner, he noticed my family suburban stuck to the axle in mud on my property while he was on his way home from work. He stopped and without question, introduced himself and pulled my Suburban out of the mud on his off time, on a Friday in his personal truck and charged me nothing for his time. From calling dispatch to dropping my vehicle off, this was one of my best experiences when being towed. Brandon was very polite, courteous and quick. I only waited a few minutes from the time I called to the time D&R showed up. Overall a great experience with this company.
I saw the other reviews and called them. Had to have a truck hauled from Crowley to Lafayette. They were prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I put their number in my contacts for future use.
Highly recommended if you're ever in need of a tow and absolutely the nicest folks I've dealt with in quite a while. I called them on Christmas evening and they were super friendly and quick to respond. I am impressed!
