Do not use Savage for ANY car repairs. It will cost you in the end!!!! Took my Jeep Wrangler to Savage a few years ago to install a rebuilt Jasper transmission. Now, we are having major issues with the jeep. All the bolts except one single bolt backed their way out and into the engine, resulting in $1600 damage because the bolts were not properly torqued. Savage refuses to take responsibility and says it's a warranty issue and not an installation issue. He states that he's not paying for someone else to fix it. He doesn't feel responsible or bad about any of the issues his poor installation We also had Savage replace a starter on the jeep since then. When we tried to start it, the jeep made a horrible noise when cranking it from his lot. When we asked Tim what it was, he stated it needed a new flex plate, and he would look at it the next day. Thank goodness we decided to take it home instead. We took the jeep to a different mechanic who stated it did not need a new flex plate but that the starter was installed upside down and the bolts were in the incorrect holes. Savage is not trustworthy! He doesn't guarantee his work, and if anything goes wrong, he only wants more $$$$.

Was told to bring tires at 8a on Friday and they could do the 8 tires I had. Change tires and rims and then put on vehicle. I was there at 8a and was told "I can't get to you today." Friday is my only day off that businesses are open. I was also told that I could leave the tires and they would try to work them in. Who wants to leave $1000 worth of tires somewhere that may or may not get to? I went somewhere else. Not only was it done that day but cheaper!!

Horrible service refused to take my card when sign behind counter states they take cards. Was at counter waiting for him to be done playing on his phone when another customer walks in and he looks past me to see what he was needing. Cost was double of tow company's that was further away and claimed it was cause it was so early in the morning .
