Great assistance for an unusual emergency in early October 2025. Had a 2014 Jeep with Ram 1500 brakes on it and lost a caliper bolt. I wish I would had written down the name of the person who helped me. He helped me figure out which bolt I needed even through Ram changed from imperial bolts to metric somewhere along the line. Felt bad that he spent like 45 minutes with me to figure out a $5 part, so I stocked up on oil and coolant. Granted it makes for a long term customer who looks at Advance Auto parts before their competitors for parts.

The folks working in this store were SO nice and helpful. They helped recommend products and when our car still wouldn't work went out of their way to help us get a tow truck. And they shared their AC with us while we waited. Thank you so much to Patrick and the whole team.

I Need med bug and tar remover. When I entered the store 4 men stood near door and visiting with each other while I stood and looked at them. I didn’t know which person was a shop assistant. Eventually one man walked to a counter and I followed him and asked for some bug and tar remover. He looked confused and looked over at the crowd of people near the door. One man said “under the car sponges on the back wall. The young man walked over there and stood staring at the shelves in front of him. After a few seconds I saw a very large number of tar and bug remover over to our right. I pointed them out and he then walked away and back to the cloud of people near the door. I had to stand in the middle of the store looking at the empty counters with no one at them, wondering how I was to pay for my purchase. Eventually the same young man wandered back to a counter so that I could pay and leave .

Advance in Stanton has just lost my business completely. I walked into the store today and there are NO OTHER customers in the store so I thought "I'll get quick service this time", wrong. I followed 1 employee in from outside and yes he was working on something. 2 more employees standing at 1 register so i walk up to that register. All 3 of them are talking and then all 3 turn around and walk off like I'm not even there. 1 of them made eye contact with me twice, so he definitely knew i was there. I said loudly "great customer service", turned around and left. 3 employees and not 1 asked if they could help me! I will never step foot in Advance again. Even if I only need a quart of oil or a light bulb i will go to another parts store even if I have to go to Mt. Sterling or Winchester. I have spent A LOT of money at advance, but they will never get another penny from me. The quality of there parts have declined drastically and now NO customer service, see ya.

If they don't have the part you need, they'll order it. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind & helpful. I'd recommend this parts store to anyone in the area needing anything for your vehicle

Went in needing a new battery, the attendant was super nice and knowledgeable. We replaced the battery and were on our way within about 15 minutes!

I needed a battery for my truck. Went in and they got it ready right away. Put it in for me too! Didn't take that long either. Oh and I went with the 'economy' battery. All together only alittle over $100. Also wish I remembered the name of the guy who put it in for me. He was real nice.

Went to Advance Auto Parts this morning due to having battery issues on my 2018 Jeep Compass. Jon was very helpful in replacing my primary and auxiliary batteries. The staff there is very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend stopping here for any of your parts needs.

Ordered an alternator on Friday night, literally was told it'd be here sat morning then sat evening then sun morning to only find out it was ordered for Monday. Horrible

Given the wrong parts a number of times and then they didn't want to take them back when they gave me the wrong part to began with. They also have a habit of selling you parts you don't need and then refuses to take them back. Unuse parts. Very rude. I'll never go back. FEMALES BEWARE. Boys club

So first off this store has been a pain more than it's been helpful. There is only 1 maybe 2 people (they will know who they are if they read this) there that actually know what's going on and are helpful. The rest are random people just looking for a job. I've got nothing against people who are actually willing to work for a living. Good on them. But the people who work on these cars for a living expect some level of competency in a parts store. There are so many memes related to parts stores and this is a prime candidate for those memes. If you need cleaning supplies buddy they've got a lot but if you need parts be for warned. 9 times out of 10 they don't have the part and or won't know what you are talking about.

Ordering online is a disaster, even putting your VIN in and showing exact fit gives you the wrong part and then the correct part isn’t available at the store. If you can’t get an exact fit then it shouldn’t show exact fit.

Stopped to get washer fluid and funnel. The guy working there was very helpful. My fluid reservoir is almost impossible to access so he rigged a hose onto my funnel to make it easier to put the fluid in.

Took my jeep in to puchase oil they put it on a machine and ( Austin) said I needed a oil sensor part. I purchased the part 80.00 and I took it to a mechanic and they told me my oil sensor was fine. Took the part back and RUDE PATRICK said they would not RETURN the part! So I'm STUCK with a 80.00 part I don't need or THEY won't take back! Patrick was VERY RUDE and told me I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME. when I told him that they told me I needed this part. THEY WILL NOT BE GETTING MY BUSINESS EVER AGAIN! BAD SERVICE AT THAT STORE!

Friendly employees, the older guys know exactly what you need. I am a mechanic and I occasionally bounce ideas off these guys while doing my self diagnostics. ( without obd2 to keep skills sharp. Mechanic should not have to use obd2 to determine the cause of a problem. ) Everyone approaches how to replace a part different theses guys do a lot of there own work if not all of it. I've even had these guys call other stores and help me get a warranty honored there if its quicker for me to go to another store to get the part instead them having it shipped there. All in all great store they will go that extra mile to get u what u need

It you like the most rudest people in the world,this the place to shop. You go in pato buy parts that showing they have online at one price and they want to charge you more than what on the website. Then they say well your getting 25% off. Someone cannot do math because 25% off does not give you the price showing online. Here a perfect example why I do not shop local unless I have to. Here why I shop out of town or buy parts online. You do not get the rude response. You wonder why brick motar store are closing here why.

Dont like rebates but went ahead and bought the item and was expecting a Visa gift card not an advance auto gift card where you have to use it at their stores only. That's why I hate rebates, scam

Great customer service and friendly staff. THIS IS A AUTOMOTIVE PARTS STORE!!!!!! Don't take a jab at the employees for saying "well all they do is click around on a computer they don't know anything." That's your job to know what part you need for your vehicle or have your mechanic know what part you need. Watch a YouTube video or two folks. These guys and gals don't get the credit they deserve.
