I cannot recommend this business for tire services. I recently trusted them to change the tires on my $2,000 wheels, and the craftsmanship was entirely unacceptable. Every single one of my four wheels is now scuffed and marked up. Worse, three of the wheels have deep notches gouged out of them on the edge, looking as though the technician used pliers or a screwdriver during the mount. They also left the assembly stickers stuck between the mounting surfaces and the sidewalls. This is supposed to be an established business, but the quality matches a reckless backyard garage.
This shop is top notch! Cannot say enough good things about the service they provide to this community. We’re from Chicago and in town wheeling and started having transmission issues and stopped in here to ask if they could help look into it and they were so kind and assisted us in locating the problem and fixing it in under an hour. This shop is a gem!

Been getting my vehicles serviced here for 5 or 6 years and I've always been happy with the service and price. I haven't felt pressured to have more maintenance or repairs done than I planned on, and feel that they have been honest with me when diagnosing problems. Several times I have had concerns about my car and was assured that things looked fine when a dishonest mechanic could have easily fooled me into thinking I needed work done. When something is wrong I don't get a sales pitch or pushed to make a decision quickly. I really appreciate this shop!
They lie about the specialty equipment because they lied about the tools they have they charge for a abs bleed but didn't fix it had to have the car tow from this shop to Ford to do the work would not reimburse for the work they say they did but if the did it then why was it tow to Ford to do the job. The owner Mike only cares about money not doing the job right
Mike was fast and fair with our tire repair. He honored the time for our appointment. Would recommend his business for any tire incidents you may have.
For two years I have had the absolute worst luck with my cars. I have struggled so long and there has been numerous times I've needed work on my vehicles and haven't had all the money down or had no idea what was wrong with it. Mike has worked with me and has done right by me and my family for so long that I cannot express how grateful we are towards them.
I don't understand how the reviews are only 1 or 5 stars. A bad experience or differences of opinion doesn't justify a completely poor review.
I think we all worry about who works on our vehicles sometimes. However, I've had so much help from the guys here that, in my opinion, makes them the best to go to for anyone close or around the area. Highly recommended Frenchburg Tire and Auto over most, if not all surrounding garages.

I’m new to the off-road wheeling community. I bought a 4th Gen 4Runner and I love it and wheeling. This past weekend we went 2 hours from my house into Spaas creek and the 4Runner gave me some serious issues. It was a bad grinding accompanied with bad steering wheel jerks. It was not getting home. Heck at this point I wasn’t sure I was going to get back on pavement. I was able to find a repeating pattern of accelerate up to 25 mph, then the issue would occur. I would brake hard and jerk the wheel and hear a clunk. At that point the wheel was free to run the cycle again, 25, brake, jerk the wheel. I needed to find a mechanic. The closest place I could get to was Frenchburg, Ky to the Frenchburg Tire and Auto. Upon pulling in, I explained to Mike the owner the issue. Told him I was wheeling and was in a pretty big bind. His answer sums up the exact kind of guy he is. “Fella is out in the woods wheeling needs help, we help him.” That made me feel great in a stressful situation.
He sent out his mechanic who was quickly able to spot the issue. Within 2 minutes of jacking the truck up, he diagnosed that my right CV axle was coming apart and needed to be replaced. Well, not only was my wheeling day over, but the truck wasn’t leaving the shop till the part could arrive. Mike let me hang out as I made phone calls and talked with me while I waited for my wheeling buddies to pick me up. He made me feel completely at home in the shop. Cheers! It was closing time and my ride had still not arrived. Mike made sure that I had everything that I needed prior to leaving. I assured him I was good waiting for my ride.
I headed back to Cincinnati with my buddy as the part I needed was not going to arrive until Monday. Mike told me he was going to call me Tuesday morning to let me know when the truck was fixed. He called exactly when he said he would. He told me the truck was all fixed. I was able to get another friend to drive me back down and I got my truck. It was fixed! It is driving perfectly. Mike charged me so little, that I had good sticker shock. This shop is awesome and the owner is polite and helpful and a good hard working American. His mechanic was able to spot my issue within minutes. All in all, I felt led by God to this place when my truck broke and I am so very thankful.
I’ll drink one for you tonight Mike. It was a pleasure to meet you. I am 100% satisfied with the quality, promptness and price of the work I received. If I ever have more trail issues in the Red River Gorge area (which is highly likely) I will be heading your way.
Took my car to get an alignment. Went to pick it up days later than I was told an they had blown the motor up. Can't believe this place is still open. Owner Mike lied several times about who drove it and why. Do not do business with this place. You will regret it..
Mike, the owner, is as honest as there day is long and his mechanics are top notch. He treats you fair as he doesn't charge the max labor rate like 99% of other shops and is more than fair on parts. You'll never be disappointed!
I'm done with this place, they have no knowledge on how to change oil without messing up an oil pan, yes they cracked it. I had to be out 600 dollars to order and labor to fix it. God help me I was so upset with this place but people who do you wrong it will come back to you.
Worse place to go. They don’t know what they are doing and will mess ur car up and not make it right and when they mess it up it will cost u a fortune to get it fixed.
