Really disappointing. Called them for a transmission on a Monday. They asked for my credit card info and had me waiting until Wednesday night for multiple reasons. One they needed to make sure transmission was good. Then the billing dept took forever to call me and send me credit card sheet. Then I gave them all my info for them to tell em on Wednesday evening that they didn’t have any comfortable way to ship the transmission after days of being under the impression it was no big deal. So they wasted 3-4 valuable days of my time for nothing. In the end they knew I was in Nj and told me only way I could get the transmission was to drive 15 hours to them. Seems like communication was very sub par as well as their planning. Very disappointed in the whole situation.
I have called her several times. They never have what I need. Strange thing is the mechanic called an hour later and we went and picked it up. This last time I called I was placed on hold. Well the receiver was laid down. If I knew whose mother-in-law they were talking about I would give that mother-in-law a call. Still they didn't have what I wanted.
Bought a part right before store closing and checked it out first thing the next morning. The mechanic's sensor said current would not go through and the part was defective. Called and asked for a refund or exchange. Because the part is electrical there is NO WARRANTY though it was immediately found defective and reported. I wonder how many others are sold defective parts, acted business-like and honestly and are dismissed and left hanging too? Extremely poor business management, so be aware of what you are dealing with.
Place is sort of a joke,they never have anything for anything 2005 cars and they say one price and then after riding around the yard and you pull your parts they charge the same price or when you get back to the office and someone else is there they give you a price that's more than what you are told
Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. Even though the quoted price on the phone was reasonable, they still gave me a lower price on my parts when I was checking out. Times were hard and I didn't want to say anything but they must have seen it on my face. Still, they didn't say anything and allowed me to keep my dignity. I can't thank them enough.
Seems like they are Not open when I really need them.. closed every day for an hour for lunch, and 2 years in a row now they've been closed for a solid month in the middle of the summer
Bought a used engine. A little pricey for low mileage engines. The only problem I had was a sticking thermostat, which is normal after an engine's drained of fluids and sits for awhile. Replaced the thermostat myself with no other issues since.
I've delt with Keys Auto on & off for years and they always done me right. Just recently I bought a used 15" tire from them ( A rare find)
Well my bad I was happy to find that I didn't even thought to ck it out ( yes I know USED) Anywho long story short tire no good keys gave me my money back in a check
So alls good in the neighborhood .

Hey, so in short I was recommended by another shop. I called KEY AUTO PARTS and a woman named Bobbie? (Spelling may be off) answered the phone. It was a straightforward conversation. Bobbie asked me for the specs and I gave them. Bobbie verified she had the part. I quickly explained the literal awful situation I experienced at SISTER REVIEW KAP location and said I needed to know if the truck was an extended cab or a 4 door. Bobbie said that she could call me back in 30 minutes. Bobbie didn't call back in 30 minutes but I called her at about 40 minutes. Which in my opinion is reasonable. I was connected straightway to Bobbie and Bobbies first words were something along the lines of "the truck is a verified three door extended cab, it's a match". She asked me to call back when I was leaving and I gave her an ETA of 3 pm later on that day. It was a bit slow getting the driveshaft at location actual but I was out in less than 25 minutes with minimal speaking to the employees. She asked me for my address and phone number and I left with my correct driveshaft.
This experience was streamlined, nearly punctual and a NOVEL experience. When I decide to replace the throttle cable in my truck, KEY AUTO PARTS will be who I call first. Build a reputation with your customers and they really do call back. Thanks everyone!

They got a good selection of used car parts and I seem to keep their warehouse well organized so you can find exotic parts for old cars if you just ask. I have not seen their whole lot but I've seen only a small section of their warehouse.
Keys auto parts let me tell you , if your looking for any kind of vehicle part American made car, truck, suv or anything like that man you won’t have to look know further more than likely because they have parts out the boo coo.
And not very high either or what I was looking for wasn’t that high I thought If you live near Murray ky. Try keys auto part before you go any where else that’s all I got to say. I did.
They are extremely rude. They sold us a condenser that had a lot of damage and when we tried to return it they wouldn’t give us all our money back. They charged us a restocking fee and tried to act like nothing was wrong with it. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
The guy that I rode back with me to identify the part for was very polite and helpful. Darren or Derek, I think. But the old man (owner?)and the young guy running the counter... Rude. I will ONLY go back IF I have no other option
Good people, good prices, just too bad they are not open on Saturday. It's hard for a regular Joe to get there working a standard 9-5 hour schedule. If they were open on Saturday then I'd give 5 stars
People had been referring me to Keys Auto Salvage for several months and i finally took the drive to Murry to purchase a motor for my Pacifica...i was extremely pleased with the price and the customer service and the motor ran great ....i will definitely do business here in the future !
Got an engine from them for a customers vehicle and hardly anything on it was still usable. The oil pan had a hole through it, distributor was busted, valve cover was broken and on of the bolts for it was bent in the head, all of the wiring was trashed, pulleys were broken. They charged almost $700 for pretty much just a block
