10/10… blowout on a steer tire. Andy and Ronnie had me back on the road within an hour! That doesn’t happen very often! Great guys, great personalities, can’t recommend them enough.

These guys are lifesavers!! They came and got to us in a decent amount of time, and really took good care of us, certainly going out of their way! Highly recommend!! 👍

I broke down on 7/2/25 off of 65S with 2 furbabies, while traveling back home to VA. The company my insurance had dispatched took over 45 min to reach out and then was rude and not willing to tow because of the dogs. Alvey's was referred to me by the shop I was having my car taken to. After making the call and explaining the situation, the driver got to us in 7 MINUTES! He was so nice, helpful, and courteous. I will forever be greatful for breaking down where I did and for encountering such amazing souls that day. I will always sing their praises from the mountain tops. This community is lucky to have you guys and this world needs more people like you in it!!!

Bucket list trip north from Gulf Shores AL to Niagra Falls NY had bad, bad wobble in tires. After guys did a balance chk and tire chk referred us to tire center in Etown. Gentleman were so friendly and helpful. It was truly a sign when I saw scripture banner hanging on wall, Psalms. Thank you for all your help and God bless y'all.

We were on a road trip and got a flat on the interstate. Jacob came to tow us and arrived in less than 10 minutes. Joey and Jacob stayed late after closing time, got us a new tire and back on the road. If I could rate them 10 stars I would! Please support these local heroes who truly go above and beyond!

My wife and I were in a terrible accident on the interstate. We were very shaken up and soaked from being out in the pouring rain. The friendly service and tow were the kindness we needed after such a rough day! They responded quickly and gave us time to get sorted out, making sure we had our next ride figured out so we could get home safely. I highly recommend this company for anyone who needs it!!

My car wouldn't start when I came out of the rest area. I suspected the battery so called my insurance bc we have roadside assistance. They quoted me $380 for a jumpstart and said it would take 90 mins+ for someone to come help me and I had to pay first 🤨😳 (what a joke allstate) We called Alvey's instead. They showed up in less than 15 min and jumped me for $75 bucks. Thank you! We're out of towners and sure did appreciate it!

We had to pull over with a belt issue to the local gas station. We saw the large red garage just next to it called to see if they could help my father-in-law with his car and sure enough they got him in the next morning to deal with the belt and just a few swift minutes. They were so kind to be able to get him in and quickly turn around the car. Very reasonable and talked through all the details with my father-in-law. Could not recommend this place anymore. It was such a blessing to have when we ran into our issue. thank you to this awesome team!

Terrific customer service and care. I hit some scrap metal on I65 yesterday driving a rental truck. The metal was then thrown under my wifes car behind me. The truck tire was damaged and my wifes car had the fuel line cut and ripped off. The local fire department was dispatched for the fuel leak cleanup. They understood the drama that Statefarms roadside service was causing me and offered the suggestion of the local tow in and repair company. Finally Statefarm failed to help and the Alvey's was called out for th tow. Not only were they there immediately they took my wife and her car while I followed with the rental truck. Once at the shop the owner and his crew went to work repairing both vehicles and getting us safely back on the road. Great fire department staff, great Towng and repair shop, I could not have a better response and help anywhere. We consider ourselves lucky that the damages were only to property and that it happened 5 minutes from the exit where these great people work and serve their communities and travelers. I went from an angry man fighting with my so called insurance company to a calm person receiving the best service I have seen in years. Now to see if Statefarm roadside service actually steps up and covers their bill for towing. Long story I know. But it has been that kind of year already, and then BOOM. Someone makes everything better. Large THANK YOU to the Fire Department that responded and calmed the situation and to Alvey's Towing and Service for a great job.

I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anyone. They’re dishonest and charge way too much for their work. I just needed one tire changed, and I even had my own tire with me. They charged me $100 just for the labor, and it only took 20 minutes. I was shocked when I asked why it was so expensive, they just said that’s their price. I’ve been to many other places, and I’ve never paid so much just for a simple tire change. On top of that, they were unfriendly and rude. When I politely asked why it cost so much, they answered aggressively and didn’t really want to explain. So, I’d advise everyone to avoid this place.

Man, I don’t think I have enough space to post how good this place is! Broke down in my 3500 (blow the rear hub) and they don’t even do this kind of work but they jumped on it to help! It’s been a crazy week trying to find parts just to find out I really blow it BAD! Not once did these guys make me feel like a burden but treating like a friend! As a business owner I can see Mr Alvey runs this place with integrity and with his heart! Everyone in the place has a smile and can tell they love it there! If you need towing, don’t call around! Just save yourself time and your mental state and call them to come get you! Thank you guys for EVERYTHING! United Hauling and family are much appreciative of you!

The driver was very nice but accidentally damaged our van by backing into a low hanging tree branch while moving it at night. I understand accidents happen, and when I spoke to the owner, he asked me to get to get a quote for the repair. I did, and he covered the cost. He just asks for a receipt when it's done for his records. I appreciate them making it right and hassle free.

These people are awesome! A flat tire on a Sunday afternoon, 200mi from home and the tire pump blew the fuse in my car... Jacob picked me up and carried me into Bowling Green to get the tire fixed. Kind, courteous and safe driver!

Jacob came to our rescue!! Sitting on the side of 65, Jacob showed up at 3 am and was very polite and had a GREAT attitude. He was even amazing and very patient towards our very upset and overly tired 8 month old. I am definitely glad he was the one to answer the call!

My daughter was on her way home on I-65S to Nashville when her tire blew out just past Munfordville, KY. She called me rattled and didn’t know what to do. I did a Google Search and found Alvey’s Towing. They were quick to respond and were very helpful in getting her back on the road. Within an hour she was picked up, towed to the shop, a new tire put on, and back on the road. I highly recommend Alvey’s Towing & Recovery for any vehicle issues you have in the Horse Cave/Munfordville area! They took care of my daughter as if she was one of their own, and for that I am very grateful! Thank you!

Had transmission issues passing through Cave City in my 1968 Cutlass. Shawn was excellent in taking care of my car. He went to great lengths to make sure the tow was down in order to not damage the car. He was very friendly as well on our hour long ride to my house. Was quick to get to me and communicated great. Highly recommended!

Was traveling home from college when my tire went flat on the side of I-65. Within a couple minutes Alvey’s pulled up behind me, Ron was coming back from another tow. He drove me to Glasgow tire and was very nice and professional. Great service and he gave me great advice to take care of prices with my insurance. I am very grateful for Alvey’s and Ron!

Service was excellent. They were very nice and patient with me, p.s. i know nothing about cars. The owner insured me that he would help me no matter what and wouldn’t leave me stranded. Gave me great advice on what to do in the long run. You won’t be disappointed if you ever need there assistance. If you are in Horse Cave Kentucky and you need a tow or tire change CALL EM UP. They even helped me before there business hours that’s what you call well rounded professionals.

I called late evening for a tow. It was cold and dark outside. The gentleman that took my call was super kind and promised he'd get somebody out within 20 minutes. The truck arrived exactly on time, and not only towed the car, but also took my son & I back home. And, they did not overcharge.. it actually cost a little less than I expected!

Saved our life in the middle of the night. We were stranded with a blown out tire and no spare/donut. AAA connected us with Alvey’s. They were trustworthy, helpful, and gave us a reasonable price. I hope you don’t end up in the same situation as us but if you do you can rest assured that you’ll make it through. Sean picked us up in under 30 minutes and John helped us at their shop.

Great service, we blow a tire on 65 with the tailer we were pulling. John saw us and came to our rescue. He was very polite, courteous and professional. He help remove the tires and took them to get them replaced and then help put the back on. Couldn't ask for better service.

I got a flat tire on the highway around 10pm. This was the first time I’ve ever had to use a towing service. First towing company I called didn’t seem to want to do anything since it was Memorial Day weekend. I called Alveys and they came out in 20 mins, got it towed to their location, and let me store the car in their lot overnight. They even helped me change the wheel the next day without asking them.

5 stars isn't enough but it's all this will let me give to Alvey's Towing! After hitting a displaced construction barrel on 65 S, my car was not safe to drive. My insurance companies roadside assistance was unable to get a tow truck dispatched. It was nerve racking sitting on the side of the road with my son for over an hour! Thankfully, one of Alvey's tow trucks stopped to check if we needed assistance!! They towed my car and gave myself and my son a lift all the way to Franklin, TN! I can not say enough how pleasant the driver was and how gracious he was while my son talked his ear off! The truck was super clean as well! 10/10 RECOMMEND!

My family and I broke down on I-65 just south of exit 48 northbound in Kentucky this morning. Alvey's Towing & Recovery dispatched Caleb to our location. Caleb handled our time of need with professionalism, attentiveness and went the extra mile above and beyond! People like Caleb can really make a company thrive by exhibiting the great qualities he showed while working hard doing his job and helping us during a very stressful situation. Caleb is an Asset to Alvey's Towing & Recovery!!! Thank you for all your hard work and Effort Caleb. Way to go!

I got a flat tire on I65 North about 14 miles away from Alvey’s around 8:30 on a Sunday night. I requested roadside assistance through my car insurance and they dispatched another tow company out of Glasgow, KY. After waiting for 2 hours and multiple calls from the tow truck driver informs me he had dropped a car off in Tennessee and had not made it to KY yet & it would be quite a while. Luckily my aunt doesn’t live far and came and picked up me and my son for the night. In the morning I requested roadside assistance and they again dispatched the previous tow company. ETA was 45-60 minutes. After waiting 2 hours they then said it would be another 90 minutes. After waiting another 2 hours they then said it would be another 40 minutes. I requested my insurance company cancel and use Alvey’s since it was being towed there anyway. The guys at Alvey’s were Amazing. They went and towed my truck right away and got me back on the road quickly. Customer service was above and beyond. They have a very nice waiting room, they even put on cartoons for my 9 year old. I will definitely be giving them my business next time I’m in the area!

We were driving from Chicago to Florida and experienced a flat tire. We stopped to attempt airing it up and saw Alvey’s next door to the gas station so decided to go there instead. It was determined that there was a nail in the tire and driving on it while it was going flat caused additional damage. I can’t say enough about the kindness and professionalism of all the employees. They are friendly with high integrity! I mentioned that I was selling my car in a couple of months so the owner found me a good used tire. He sure didn’t need to even suggest this…Integrity all the way! I am so thankful that something guided us to Alvey’s. Thanks so much 😀. You all are awesome!!!

Ronnie, Andy & Matt literally saved us on the side of I 65 South! It was 100 degree heat index & we were stranded in the sun because a belt in our car busted. They stopped to check on us when they saw us standing under an umbrella off the side of the road! They picked us up, towed our car, even brought us ice cold waters! We waited in their VERY NICE air conditioned waiting room!! Excellent service, very professional & thorough! They even found that 1 of our tires had a splitting sidewall & were able to replace it with a good quality used tire! So grateful to them! DEFINITELY would recommend them for any vehicle service needs!
