They told me to wait 3 hrs and I did and call them again and they told me to wait till tomorrow and the old man and old lady are both rude my mom talking to them nicely

Gold City Towing hauled a car after my son had a bad accident. They were not only kind and helpful each time we interacted, but they are HONEST! Not one single thing was missing from the car, including about $60 cash. Thank you Gold City Towing! I definitely RECOMMEND this tow service.

Side note : On the other hand AAA sent a different company out here before they called Gold City towing. The first company they sent out here has wonderful reviews “ merciful towing “ And the technician they sent out here when I needed my battery started at 5:30 in the morning it took them an hour And a half to even get out here and I was told it will be 45 minutes and when the technician got here he couldn’t get my truck started. He told me that I needed a new battery or a tow because there was nothing else they could do for me.
But , Chris from Gold city towing came out here and was able to get my truck started on the First try! Don’t always believe bad reviews give this company a try
The evening dispatcher is RUDE and down right hateful. She could definitely use a class or two in Customer Service.This is the second time I have tried to retain this company. The first time I chocked it up to maybe she is having a bad day or she’s tired because it was about 11pm. This time it was 630pm and she was a major unstable creature.I will never call them again. If you want to treated like less than a human being call GCT
We've used Gold City several times over the years and they are always prompt and professional. Last night, in the middle of a bizarre series of events, my wife broke down in subzero temperatures. Gold City got out to us quickly and the driver that showed up was so incredibly nice and helpful despite the horrible weather. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you're in need.
The woman answering the phone is so rude and has such a nasty attitude. I recommend Billy's lock & key if you're locked out! They were much more professional and cheaper!
My called AAA for tow service on my car and I requested this tow service.
Kenny the tow driver arrived and hooked it up for a flat bed tow due to flat tires.
He was professional and respectful and I could not ask for better service from this company.
I did have a gentleman last night from this tow company who was unable to tow it due to another issue with the car. I did not get his name but he was very professional and respectful as well.

GOLD CITY picked up our truck and delivered it to our mechanic last night and when the GPS gave him the run around he was as nice as Gold we got on the phone and talked our way there they deserve 10 star's great people
This is my second review of Gold City Towing and I stick by my first rating. They are an excellent service company for towing or their other services. I always look for the guy in the big red truck. He is great. I have used them several times and wouldn't want anyone else.
Wouldn’t even give a star if I didn’t have to! I would never give them my business or refer them. Called to see about getting a tow and the lady screamed in my ear not once but twice that every truck they had was busy. I proceeded to try to tell her it wasn’t urgent I could wait which irritated her to the point she started screaming again! Do not take your business here!
If I could give negative stars, that’s what it would be! On December 14th I experienced engine failure and due to my engine light flashing, I was not able to drive it and was recommended to have it towed. I called GCT that afternoon to have it towed from my personal mechanic to HYUNDAI in Etown. Due to my work schedule and hours, today was the first day I was able to stop by the dealer to retrieve some items as my car cannot be looked at for another two weeks. Upon arriving to the dealer, I couldn’t locate my car and eventually asked the service techs where it was. I was told that it wasn’t in their system and they never received the keys either. On the frantic verge of reporting it stolen and the emotional distress of not knowing where my car is caused me to experience a panic attack. I called GCT to inquire on the whereabouts and was told someone would have to call me back. In the meantime, I call Honda and was told that there was a car there that had been sitting for awhile (since December 14th!!!!) and they had no information to identify. I only realized it could possibly be at Honda is because it said location was ‘HCH’ on the bill receipt. Due to a clear mistake on their part and having telling them where to park it and where to put the key at the dealership’s after hour box, there’s no reason it should have been mistakenly dropped off at Honda. I also explained to the truck driver that the Hyundai parking lot is small and narrow (Honda’s parking lot is HUGE).
The tow truck driver seemed kind of irritated to have been out in the rain, but didn’t think he was fully incompetent. GCT wanted to charge me AGAIN to have it towed to the correct spot. No apologies, no offer in refund, or to have it towed. They are the worst company to use and I’d rather pull my car barefoot with a rope on a road full of 10 inch nails in the middle of a snow storm before I’d ever give them another penny from me. They are the WORST company and the owner is just as incompetent as the driver that picked the car up!

I just wanted to leave a review after reading many left by others to clarify a few things my car was towed impounded! My cell phone, purse, credit cards, and $100 cash along with many other personal belongings was inside my car at the time of impoundment when,I was able to get it out of there All those items were still in the passenger front seat!! So, I will vouch these people are NOT stealing!! BUT the rates are EXTREMELY Expensive within a 24 hour period it cost me $390. to get my car out the only reason for giving a rating of 2 star is due to the outrageous charge,I can sympathize with those saying that they have lost their cars due to not being able to afford to get them out. These rates are strong arm robbery Mafia Style not even the police impoundment charge's these type of fee's also the lady that answered the phone on Sunday morning and the lady that collected the money at the window Monday afternoon (2) different women were not rude at all with me anyways hope this helps someone maybe have a little patience or speak to others as you would like to be spoken to?
Despite the terrible reviews this establishment has received they are really great! i'm glad i gave them a try! very nice and good people all the way around. needed my ford towed to the knox ford auto shop and they told me it would be about 30 mins, came in 20. like i said nice people never had a problem or "rude" barrier. maybe it was just the customers because they are indeed not always right. but i highly recommend they are the best in town!!
As a outsider tow company, Gold City, are some nicest people, I've met in our business., Went there to pick up a car, treated me like I was one of their own.,, these guys are awesome. Stay safe and thanks for the hospitality to a outsider...
Goodmorning to the public, I'd like for you guys to know this company steals money from your vehicles and the lady owner has no communication skills nor empathy knowing her driver took my rent and money for my 2 year old daughter. I been wanting over a month and these people are discriminating me for being LATINA !! This business is to not be trusted nor do I recommend. I am filing a lawsuit against them. Thank you very much for having thieves in your company !
Contacted AAA for roadside assistance. AAA in turn, contacted this establishment. The agent contacted me back and said that the towing shop informed that they will be out to the location in 45 min. I was contacted by the dispatcher from the towing shop very near the time of expected arrival and I was basically told that her company would not be able to help me out for up to an additional 90 minutes because her drivers are already out. Mind you, I am broken down close to a median at the beginning of a turn lane on a roadway that is 6 lanes wide. I have my wife and 3 year old in the vehicle as well. Explained to the dispatcher that I am a few weeks removed from surgery, otherwise I would have changed the tire myself. What angered me the most about the exchange was the attendant's attitude. She is not professional at all and she acted like she was doing me a favor. At that point, I contacted AAA back and bashed them about how much their service SUCKS as well as the independent agents that they hire to provide assistance. For those that will get assistance from these guys in the future, Good luck! Advice for the towing shop: The lady that contacts customers; Should not. She would benefit herself and her shop by taking a class in customer relations.
My parents taught me never to use the C-word, but after speaking to the woman on the phone I might have to rearrange my vocabulary. I don't know if she is the owners family or something, but I would highly suggest hiring someone new. Preferably someone that knows basic manners like the rest of us learned in 1st grade.
They’re available when you need them, $79 with a card. The evening dispatch member was unbelievably unpleasant. Very rude demeanor, demanding and aggressive. She repeatedly interrupted us as we tried to give her the information she was verbally assaulting us for. If we could have gone with another service we would have.
They came and picked my van up exactly when they said they would. Prices were better than other companies I called. Will definitely use them again if I ever need a tow.
Vehicle broke down on Muldraugh Hill close to Ft Knox. The lady at AAA could not find my location. She was going to send someone from Paducah which is a long ways from Ft Knox. Very frustrating with the lady at AAA. The lady at Gold City Towing could hear everything that was going on and she called me and said there was one of there trucks coming down the hill. Sure enough I looked and there he was. I flashed my lights at him and he blew his horn. I was never so happy to see the big red tow truck with flashing lights on it. Wonderful service wonderful people. I have used Gold City Towing several times and I would never recommend anyone else. I called AAA and I gave them an excellent rating for Gold City Towing. Thank you so much Gold City it was a scary situation being stranded on Muldraugh Hill.
Our vehicle got stuck with the wheel over a curb in our driveway. The dropoff on the other side and the position made it extremely difficult for me to get out without damage. Gold City came out and Donald had me going in under 30 minutes. It was pretty chilly with snow showers, so I really appreciate Donald's time!
Absolutely best towing experience EVER! My car broke down and called tripple A- they send out GCT- I got Ab (Tow truck Driver) he was Absolutely amazing! Super cool dude. He made my first tow experience and amazing one. Got the job done quick- from loading my car up to dropping it off. Good City Towing would be my preferred choice every time. Wonderful workers. From dispatchers to drivers! GCT is the way to go! Thanks y’all!
The driver was great and their dispatcher was an extremely friendly and kind woman. The driver was very kind and appreciate the swiftness that Gold City did on such a cold bitter night. Thank you Gold City Towing for having such a great crew.
